The best restaurants in North West

Lovely, well designed and clearly recently refurbished to a modern and high level hotel. Friendly staff and properly dog friendly. Food for dinner and breakfast was excellent. More thought and variety for vegetarian options would be welcomed. Room No. 9 was good but there wasn’t a full sized wardrobe and our sleep was badly interrupted by water dripping from the ceiling through the fire alarm in the middle of the night; dripped a good 3 hours. This was reported the following morning and the manager did apologise which is appreciated.

It was my first time tonight after a recommendation. I'm not joking, that was the nicest Chinese I've had in about 30 years. The lady even asked 'is all this for you?' Yes and it was all walloped. I will come again

Lovely place, great food, reasonable prices and the staff are fantastic. Two meals and two drinks typically come to around £16 and it's a lot nicer and friendlier than any overpriced chain cafe. It has very quickly become a regular weekend stop for us.

Can’t thank Michelle and Stuart enough for hosting my daughter’s baby shower at such short notice. Michelle arranged all the food with only a week’s notice and closed the bar to the public whilst our party was taking place. They put up personalised decorations which was a lovely touch and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her afternoon. I would definitely recommend this bar to anyone wanting to host a private function!

Best Chinese/chippy in the area by far. Real chippy chips! Thick sauce none of that watered down rubbish. Fresh ingredients and great service. Always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. Would definitely recommend

Just wanted to say the service from first contact right through to serving the delicious food was exceptional. Jordan and Skye were amazing and we couldn’t have wished for a more perfect surprise meal for our guests. Will definitely recommend and use again in future.

Best Indian takeaway for miles. Quality food amazing tastes. I’d lost hope of getting a decent takeaway round here.

Excellent and friendly service. Dogs are welcome, but obviously not in the dining room, a table will be set up in the bar if the dog is with you at dinner. The bar is very nice too, the dining room is lovely. Home made liqueurs and home made shortbread in the room is a nice touch, and very tasty. Highly recommended. We will be back for more.

I travel from Chorley Town centre for this place, says it all

Cute bustling little cafe in Sale centre. Brought my dad and we were greeted by a very friendly staff member who gave us menus. We ordered coffees and they came quickly. Coffees were delicious, with some great foam art! They had a fresh cake selection in gussy too which looked great Didn’t get any food on this visit but defo fancied the menu and will be back!
