Brunswick Street Chippy in Pendle

takeaway if you can call it a take away... 0 stars all the way through... went in for special burger chilly and garlic on burger salt and vinegar in chips.... what did I get I got chilly and garlic on the burger and the chips no salt no vinegar and a foul smell of MINT. I rang up to see what's what and he tells me he puts mint sauce in his chilly... but if I take back he will make me another....who puts munt sauce in chilly sauce fgs. Took it back told him it's wrong and got excuses so asked for tomato sauce (instead of chilly ) and garlic ..... left the establishment thinking ok...but no get back to where I'm working and no G/mayo on burger with a small amount of ketchup that doesn't even taste of ketchup.... Oh chips cold and soggy too.

Owned and run by a lovely couple where nothing is too much trouble.

My favourite chippy in Nelson nice crispy batter and chips just the way I like. The owners are friendly and can't help enough. Will continue to take away.

Friendly chippy loads of choice and happy to cater for all needs. (Mrs likes less batter on the fish and they did it perfectly) always friendly welcome and decent prices too.

I travel from Burnley to Brunswick St chippy . The proprietor and his wife are lovely people. The food is really good and very well priced. I was recommended. 3 years ago and still go from Burnley, to me it's the Best chippy in Lancashire what l know off. Give them a try. You want t be disappointed. Small portions, but the food tasted fine. Friendly staff, but there were some reprobates hanging around.

I’d forgot how good this little gem of a chip shop is I called in this lunchtime and ordered chicken tikka and chips it was fresh and I really enjoyed it an absolute bargain in these hard times

Always fabulous. Been coming here for 16 years now! How time has flown! The menu is varied and I can reccomend everything I have tried...... which is most of it!! Never had a meal from here that was less than fabulous. My repeat custom is assured.

Clean, fresh, friendly, tasty and the price is bang on. I come on my dinner break and get the best donner and chips I've had, though I have tried other things and I've never had a bad meal.

The couple that run Brunswick Street chippy , should be treated with the respect. They are, what l call real people. They sell there fish& chips, which are beautifully cooked.
