The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in North East

Have visited this place for years and it never disappoints. Serves the best food in Teesside and beyond. We have been to many Michelin Starred restaurants and the quality of the food here is on a par. First class food but with generous portions and without the fuss. Its exceptional value for money.

Plenty of beer options, enigma variations. Named after the breaking of the Enigma code from WW2 and the local contribution of Thomas Brown, rescuer of codebooks from a sinking U boat. A straight forward ale house for the practise of sipping nature's elixir, the beer and the exchange of spoken word in comfortable surroundings.

Stopped by because of the good reviews. But, we thought the food was very mediocre. We had an English breakfast and expected more of it. I had a latte that wasn’t a latte. They have a very nice espresso machine with a steamer for the milk but that wasn’t used. Coffee was the worst I had in weeks. All very basic and we’ve had better during our vacation. Staff was friendly.

Good food, good coffee, good service and dog friendly. That's all boxes ticked for me.

A bit out if the way , but well worth a visit

First time in village delights and it’s a really lovely cafe with great service and lovely food, would definitely recommend.

Great service and value and local produce in shop. 8 of us called in for a pre-walk coffee and cake/teacake. Although the place was busy, we were served swiftly and courteously. Definitely will revisit and recommend.

The food is absolutely good and definitely taste the "chicken quesadillas". On the other hand, the portions are very small. Advice order two right away and take your time because it doesn't go very fast. Perhaps because of the online orders because as said, the food is certainly good.

Ordered via WhatsApp. Great service. The meal was great value for money good selection of veg and I ordered beef got 4 good slices. Will be ordering again.

Vast selection of hot drinks and cakes, with several Gluten free and vegan options available, as well as a children's menu. Highly recommend if want a bite to eat. Plus nice initiative from The Oswin Project

Great Christmas meal (vegan) and lots of it. Starter, main and dessert. All delicious and very tasty.

Lovely cafe. My husband and I had coffees and cake. Both were delicious. The meals being served to other customers looked very good. Next time we will visit for a main meal. The cafe is dog friendly...while we were there, people brought in their dogs...seven in all.

This was a lovely bar the food was really delicious and well priced. The staff were lovely would go back if went to hartlepool again.
