We have been multiple times and the staff are amazing, friendly and make you smile, the drinks after carefully and beautifully crafted and very generously portioned. Couldn’t recommend it enough 🍹

We came here for bottomless brunch for my fiancé's birthday. Julie is a fabulous host and the other staff were incredible. Very attentive throughout the evening and able to recommend when we weren't sure of the next drink to have. We had a brilliant time and will be back for more daiquiris in thennear future!! Thank you 😁

Brunch was excellent value for money, drinks served quickly, lovely food platter included. Staff very friendly, especially Julie the manager, who made our day!!

Bottomless brunch, staff very attentive. Wide range on drinks menu. Music great, not overpowering, we could still talk. We'll worth a visit.

Never been to a bottomless brunch were the staff are so attentive . They honestly couldn’t do enough for us all ( 11 of us altogether) and were all so friendly and made the experience so enjoyable . Nearly forgot to say that the cocktails were amazing !!

Great little place. Good prices. Excellent choice of rums not just gin! Plenty of cocktails and even has bottomless brunch. What is not to like.

Lovely bar with great atmosphere

Fabulous afternoon. Well looked after by Chloe and Min. Great food and drinks for 2 hours. We were met with a warm welcome. Lots of cocktails. Half way drinking them and they came and asked what next one would you like. My friend and I had 16 between us. Food platter and nibbles was ideal. This was a lovely afternoon and great value for money in a lovely Ambiance. Highly recommend. Service fantastic and the Manager was extremely friendly. We will be back. Xx

Went for my 25th birthday on the kingd coronation. It was the worst drinks I've had. The pina coladas had coconut bits that took over the drink, the woo woo was overly sweet, the music was too loud and there was a rude man constantly standing up with his butt in my face. Wouldn't go back

Julie managed to get us in for bottomless brunch last minute. Her phone skills were amazing, she had me laughing throughout. When we arrives she was so welcoming and chatty. Due to it being the coronation she was gutted she couldn't watch it so brought her a hat and a flag which he was over the moon with. All the staff were great and we were never left waiting for drinks, which is what you want from a bottomless brunch! Will be returning 😊

First time here, and I must say I was well impressed. Took my daughters, table service for drinks, big tankard for me and cocktails for the girls. Place was cosy, nice music playing, but was quite enough to chat. Never got any food, but the pizza on the table next to me looked epic, going to take the misses on Saturday to try. A little nugget of gold in the coal mine of church street, highly recommended. Update: Popped back for that pizza and it was delightful 😊

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Some of the drinks a bit pricey but excellent choice and lots of drinks I had never heard of. Worth a visit and I will be returning.

Let me tell you a story... Once Upon a Time, my husband and I discovered this amazing little gem of a bar in Hartlepool. We have been made to feel so welcome every time we go (usually on a Friday as they now do Quiz night!) Julie and her team of amazing staff have gone out of their way for any celebrations we have had. Decorating our table and so on. Such a lovely thing to do, that we didn't ask for. The cocktails are fabulous, and the Steins are great (need two hands to hold them mind you!!) They have a great offer of a cheese and meat board, with drinks included, I mentioned I didn't eat meat, so Julie said I could have a veggie option next time we are in. Very kind. We will return again and again, and look forward to it after a busy week in work :) Love you guys xx

Called in after a long train journey. Ordered cocktails for my birthday and wasn't disappointed. This was the perfect way to end my holiday. Staff really friendly and the place felt really relaxed.

Great bar, nice pizzas and really, really nice cocktails. And prices are very good too. Live music on Thursday night which was good as well. Fantastic place for a night out.

Called in for lunch on a very cold day and received a warm welcome. Good choice of hot and cold food and we chose ham and coleslaw baguette and double ham and cheese toastie. Tea and coffee to go with it. Sandwiches came pretty quickly and were clearly freshly made, not pre-prepared. Loads of filling and we both enjoyed the visit. Good value too at just £13.50 for the bill. Will be back 👍😀

Went in for last orders and tried a drink from the cocktail menu. It was very nice, the ambience in the place was evident, the staff were friendly and brought our drinks over to us. The only downfall is the size, I wish it was bigger as it's a lovely venue.

I've visited previously a few months ago when it was my wife's birthday and since it was a special occasion we got talking to the manager Julie Robinson, and a young girl who was with her behind the bar aswell. It was a fun and exciting environment but my second visit last night was a very different experience. The same girl was there behind the bar but seemed to be by herself, although she was polite when serving us she did appear to be very stressed with the amount of people she was having to serve by herself. It was still very lively but the atmosphere had changed from the first visit. If action is made to meet the standards I experienced the first time I would definitely consider returning, making it a monthly date night with my wife.

Just had time for a quick drink but wished we could have stayed longer. Lively and very friendly place in a good corner position so bright and airy. Fantastic staff serving very impressive g and ts! If you’re not driving, enjoy!!! Food smelt and looked excellent.

Stopped by after supper for a gin and tonic with family. Wonderful selection of gins and we also ordered the drink of the day, peach bellinis. Absolutely delicious. We were served some nibbles along with our drinks. Highly recommend this small lounge. You will not be disappointed.

Visited to take advantage of their afternoon tea offerings after having heard very good things. We pre booked in advance and a five pound per person deposit was required. Unfortunately payment of the same could not be made over the phone and so you had to call in to do so. Payment can't be made by card but rather was cash only which was a bit of a nuisance. The food was absolutely incredible. Very generous selection and well varied. It was beautifully presented and quick to be served. There was a good sweet to savory selection. I particularly enjoyed the quiche and strawberry tart. Very reasonably priced at 11.95 per person. The surroundings were very cosy with a friendly welcoming atmosphere. It was small with a handful of tables but quaint with a nice feel. The only slight disappointment encountered was that upon leaving and settling the bill we discovered we had been charged per cup of tea despite being specifically told in advance that it included unlimited refillables. I brought this to the attention of the lady serving us who quickly rectified the issue. I appreciated her doing so however was a little confused as I have written confirmation stating both coffee and tea are unlimited so wasn't quite sure as to why the confusion in the first place Nevertheless I will definitely return again.

The staff at Juniper Lounge made my sister's 'hen do' such as special occasion. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Julie and her team took the time to decorate the table, lay out sashes etc before the bride to be and her party arrived. It was a lovely welcome. The afternoon tea that was then served was delicious with a range of sweet and savoury treats to suit everyone. The presentation was stunning and the taste and quality of the cakes, pastries and sandwiches etc was of a much higher standard than I have experienced in 4 and 5 star hotels. Everyone commented on what a great afternoon it was but most of all - the bride to be enjoyed every moment. Thank you very much Juniper Lounge!

Called on off chance it was open arrived 15mins before opening time (11.00) staff opened up and let me and my sister in. Had scone and coffee delicious Do a variety of foods Corned beef pie a specialty Just opposite train station handy if you have had long journey Lovely décor Will definitely go back but for alcohol next time and meal lovely staff

Fantastic little Gin Bar with Bistro, not only do they sell Gin they have a selection of beers, Stout and German Beer on tap, hard to find German beer on tap. We went on a Wednesday which was an open Mic night, the singers were really good and made the night better, I recommend this place to everyone and the Gin selection is unreal. The staff are very friendly. We will go again.

Visited for lunch today, received a warm welcome and placed our order. We had a cheese & pepperoni toasty, a tuna sandwich and salted caramel cake with coffees. The food was delicious fresh tasty and well presented. Our granddaughter lived the cake!
