Bar Central Ltd in Hartlepool

Can't comment on how good this place is as a bar, so I have left my rating at 4 stars to reflect this. What I can say is that the cake and scones are absolutely excellent as we got a selection to take away and they were fabulous.

Love this bar my family and I always use it for family get togethers and parties . Staff are great ,friendly and helpful . Great music. Lovely atmosphere .

Great food, great service, great atmosphere - great time

We were staying on the marina visiting family so walked out for a drink. Yesterday we had a couple of wines in here, friendly staff, nice views, Great decor, our kind of place. Tonight we walked along the bars on the Marina and decided Bar Central was more our taste. What a greeting from the owners dog! We are missing ours so the kisses and attention were greatly appreciated. Good music. Good wine. If we lived locally we’d be regulars.

Called in yesterday for the first time. The food was beautiful and reasonably priced. The staff were amazing nothing was too much bother. Very polite helpful and cheerful. Will defo be back x

Called in here today, the first time. Will certainly be coming back soon. Menu is very varied and prices are so reasonable. Food quality is good and service was excellent. We managed to get a bench overlooking the marina, a real suntrap and our waitress Andrea, brought us a table. She couldn't do enough for us. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable experience and a perfect place to have lunch.

I regularly call into Bar Central, for a coffee and breakfast. The staff are always friendly, courteous & attentive, and nothing is too much trouble to them. I would definitely recommend a visit to Bar Central, and while you're there, do try the amazing (large) Eggs Benedict (you'll not be disappointed)

Attended for a family celebration so hired the whole bar for private use. Staff very helpful, drinks priced reasonably as well. Highly recommended

Went for lunch yesterday, two small lunches and a drink for £10, food was basic but good, sadly not too many vegetarian options but generally good for a quick easy Saturday lunch

Went yesterday for coffee and had eggs benedict which was lovely. Decided to go back again today and treat my mam to lunch. She had fish bites and chips and I had bacon, cheese and spinach quiche with chips. Both meals were delicious. Proper home-made chips too which is always a bonus. Not forgetting the staff, all the girls are lovely and friendly too.

We celebrated my wife’s 60th birthday at the Bar Central with family and friends on Saturday 17th December. We had a great night and the Bar Central staff went the extra Mille. Thanks to everyone on the night, I would recommend this venue for any function.

Love this place. Friendly staff. Food is amazing. Prices cheaper than reasonable. The view of the Marina is lovely. I reccomend this place to anyone!!! Ps forgot to mention it's a dog friendly bar too!!

Great food, the chips are amazing. Reasonable prices. Staff are really friendly. Covid safe measures are adhered to. Motorcycles can park free in the bay at the front. I 100% recommend this place.

Love this Bar. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Always make you feel welcome. Our little dog is always made to feel welcome too. Food is lovely and staff are great. Highly recommend.

I had lunch at Bar Central Ltd today and the whole experience was just lovely. The staff are attentive, the food arrived very quickly and it was both good value and delicious! The restaurant is comfortable but chic with a bar that is beautifully designed - a real centrepiece. I'm looking forward to becoming a regular here as I will be staying at the travelodge in the marina whenever I travel up here for work. Thank you to the lovely owners and staff for looking after us so well today, I will see you shortly!

Bar Central is one of my all time favourite bars, one of those rare pubs that ends up accidentally being your local after your first visit! A friendly welcome for everyone, even when you have to go back to apologise 😂

Putting others to shame with the professional way they are following the government guidelines no cutting corners here everything carried out just as the guidelines require probably even more than is required.

I ordered three meals scampi chips salad and two of fishbites chips mushys all three wear same price but hardly any chips with the scampi meal complained but didn't offer to do anything about the size of the meal wasn't happy for the price ☹️

Great food and excellent service

Relaxed compared to most on the marina, they have a great back bar and 2 for €10 cocktails. Theres a sheltered smoking terrace overlooking the water.

Decent food, decent prices, decent service. It's new so a few creases to iron out. Ate here twice, chips were first undercooked then overcooked. Minor niggles.
