Great little cafe good food friendly staff

Superb spot to eat after a walk in the park, with seating inside and out. Food great and staff very welcoming.

Friendly little local cafe. They don't seem to do cakes, more just savoury stuff, plus several flavours of delicious milkshakes.

Visited this café while staying for two nights on Stockton. Very friendly ppl and delicious homemade meals. The coffee is very nice too. I 💯% recommend. Will visit it again for sure

Delicious halloumi wraps (lemon and pepper is amazing). Bit on the pricier side, but has great food. A few tables inside as well as outdoor seating. Just on the corner of Ropner Park so perfect for a lunch break!

Have had the odd bacon or sausage roll plus fea or coffee, But went in on Sunday 3rd November for a takeaway Sunday dinner and was not disappointed had brisket it just melted in my mouth. Plenty of veg and potatoes Yorkshire pudding spot on as was the gravey .Thanks Happy and full customer will be back soon

Third is such a lovely little cage to pop for a halloumi salad wrap. I had mine with sweet chilli today... absolutely delicious! Andy is so friendly too.

My husband and I popped in for a gorgeous English breakfast, everything was absolutely perfect, quality food prepared and served by lovely staff! We will highly recommend this little gem of a cafe to our friends and family!

This is a tiny no-frills cafe which deserves a visit because the food, welcome and service is absolutely fantastic! Everything made/cooked from fresh and the southern fried chicken wrap is one of the best things I have tasted in a long time. I watched a guy make milkshakes using fresh&frozen fruit which was very impressive and I will have one of these the next time. A great find and we will definitely come back when next in the area, if I lived in the area I think I would come every day!

Excellent for Sunday lunch, ring, place an order, collect and enjoy. Call by for a daily snack, I got sausage and mushrooms in a bun, cooked to order

Excellent cafe, great service, and good food. Always served with a smile. Love to sit outside and have breakfast, though I do intend to have lunch there one day. The aroma of the curry as it is being prepared is delightful 🙂

This is a great stopping point when walking the dog. Excellent coffee and massive bacon bun. Great to sit outside if the weather allows.

mostly take away as only has about 10 seats inside, with addition 18 seats outside on good weather days, Andy will go out of his way to feed you, always good food and excellent prices too, I like to sit outside and watch the trains go by, this cafe is just across the road from the gates of Ropner Park so can make a day of a visit here

Frequent visitors to this small friendly cafe on the edge of Ropner Park. Food and drink excellent quality. Reasonably priced too. We love the toasted breakfast wraps. Several tables outside. Highly recommend

Used for the first time. Stopped for a cuppa, ended up getting takerway Sunday Dinner. Lovely food, friendly service. Great find. Will be using again.

healthy good food and very friendly, I have seen them be so kind and helpful with those who have difficulty in moving and understanding, anyone can open a cafe but not everyone can make such a positive impact on the locals, they are patient and thoughtful, I know 2 people who go for sunday lunch, both are disabled, and get so well looked after even during lock down, support this excellent local cafe

Really scrummy grub with a home made feel. Great little place to stop for a coffee and chat, or in my case my friend and I shared a delicious chicken curry and chips and I had a delicious hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream (highly recommended!) I thought the guys serving where really helpful and friendly. Could be slightly improved with a little bit of prettying up the outdoor seating area, maybe sone flowers but I am aware these are a faff and at the end of the day have no impact on the quality of the food. Jazzing it up though would have potentially made it a 5 star find for me. Good luck to them, support the little man when you can I say! 🙃

Have lived near here for 3 years and didn't realise this place existed! Visited today for a breakfast wrap and was highly impressed. Food is delicious, portion size was huge. Prices very reasonable aswell, will definitely be a regular customer.

Was brought one of their Sunday lunches. Absolutely lush. Tasted like my nans. I'm really hoping they start delivering because I want to be able to have their gravy all the time!!!!

Ordered 3 take out Sunday roast beef dinners. Giant Yorkshire's, plenty of beef and other veg too. Very tasty and no one left a scrap. We often call for coffee or breakfast here too. Very pleasant owner and staff. Always well cooked and good value food

Have had regular Sunday dinners from here and they are great, just like home cooked with amazing meat and Yorkshire puddings! Also had bacon butties from here and they were excellent and well priced. Highly recommend this friendly local family business Steve

We recently moved to the area and were so disappointed when we realised The Cornerhouse cafe had closed. When we spotted the new owners getting ready to reopen we were so relieved! We have now been several times; with kids, without kids, eat in and take out, and every time whether it be just for drinks and ice lollies or for breakfast or lunch it's been perfect. All the food is cooked fresh to order from quality ingredients so you may have a little wait but it's always been worth it for us.

Second trip. Wife, baby and I 'parked up' and ordered a tuna wrap, CBLT, can and coffee. £10.40. Both very good value for money with both chicken and bacon grilled freshly. Staff really friendly.

This tiny cafe has been through several owners over the past few years. It has three tables inside, and five or six outside, which makes it peculiarly dependent on half decent weather. This new operation is open 7 days a week, serving very good breakfasts until around 11a.m. Coffee is excellent, and there's a selection of paninis and the like for lunch, with quite adventurous options. There's a Sunday roast beef panini with roast potatoes! Very likeable, dog friendly, and pleasant, but the service is very slow. Having said that, everything is cooked to order.

A lovely little Parkside cafe. Great outdoor seating area with diligent service and a wonderful selection of snacks and meals. Dogs welcome, water bowl provided.

What a little gem of cafe so close to home with nice coffee and homemade cake with excellent prices and personal service, outdoor seating great if you have your dog with you.
