My Mum was treated like a queen today when we booked in for afternoon tea to celebrate her 80th birthday. The food was delicious and so much we needed doggy bags! Will definitely be back. Simone xx

I popped in for a coffee and to use the Internet and couldn't resist the homemade pizza after reading the food board, I got a margarita and it was delightful. The crust was light and puffy like a pillow and the base was lovely and thin, sauce lush aswell. Deffo going to be back.

Just had a great spontaneous lunch at Serinos. How this deli platter was under £10 I have no idea! It was gorgeous! My friend had a cheese scone and a brownie and raved as well. Gorgeous. Will definitely becoming a regular. Thank you for the great service too.

Another fabulous visit for lunch today. The homemade lasagne was outstanding. As always, the service was excellent, would highly recommend.

Warm enough to sit outside. My friend had a lovely big bowl of porridge and I had a selection of toast with butter and marmalade. Staff were friendly and helpful. Closed on a Monday. Bathroom facilities, spotless.

Lovely food, there were 4 of us and one meal was brought then isn't was about 5 mins before the rest were brought. Nice staff

Wow. Been wanting to visit here for ages and finally got around to it. Blown away. Best cooked breakfast I may ever have had, and I've had a few. And don't believe the phrase "baked beans" on the menu - they are home made and FAR more than just baked beans. Been once, already trying to work out when we can go back!

We booked a table for breakfast at 10am as it was recommended we book because of how busy it gets. We arrived at 9:50am and our table was ready and was told there my be a little wait for food but wasn’t told how long. After being sat for about 15 minutes we have our drink order taken. Then after about 30 minutes of being here we had our food order taken. There are 5 tables in the deli and we were 1 of only 4 that were occupied. About 15 minutes after our order was taken the waitress came to us to confirm our order and it’s a good job she did as she what asked if we’re were having was completely not what was in our ticket. After being in the deli for 1 hour we asked the waitress how long our food would be and was told not to much longer. At 11am my wife went to the counter to see how long the food would be and was told about 20 minutes this would have meant we had have waited an hour and a half for 2 breakfasts. What also added to this is the waitress had to ask what table we were sitting on which really wasn’t had as only 4 tables were occupied. We also pointed out that a man and his son had came in about 20 mins after us ordered, got his food and had finished. We just paid for our drinks and left. We will not return here and will now look for an alternative venue for our family breakfast.

Have been before and it was good but they must have been having a really bad day today. Couple beside us got up and left after waiting an hour for a forgotten order and table behind us were missing a meal too. Our order was wrong but by this point I felt uncomfortable and jyst wanted to leave. Something need to improve or people won't come back which is a massive shame

Very nice bistro. Loved the scrambled egg and smoked salmon on toasted brioche. Good herbal teas and sweet things. Clean and friendly place. Small and busy, do book. Outside tables. Takeaways. Fun and imaginative dishes. The granola thing - please change it to - to a yogurt base with some granola on top ..just way too much granola at the moment...

Sadly, our visit for brunch today was a let down for both food and service. *1pm visit, nothing wrote on specials board, when we asked, we were told they were being wrote out, staff verbally said what was on offer. We had to ask for the table menus. * Ordered 1 tea, 1 coffee, staff forgot my tea. * Ordered 2 x Fish finger butty with truffle fries, we were served cold(not even warm) fries, the bread was still frozen. Staff tried to say the bread was lightly toasted, we had to ask her to touch it as it was clearly still frozen! Staff explained the cold chips were cooked and left out as the person cooking the meals had other food to cook at the same time. There were 3 others in the restaurant only. *My pal had her meal re-heated. I had a replacement meal of a sausage and egg butty, the egg was grossly undercooked. *When I asked the staff member about the very basic/limited menu, she explained the chef had recently left. It appeared the usual waitresses had also. * My previously reviews have been 5 stars, sadly it’s 1 star today. Failure on all levels.

Really small venue so the waiting staff were very attentive. Food was excellent. Reasonable portion size so 3 courses were possible. Not the most extensive menu but what it lacks in breadth it made up for in quality. Cost was Reasonable, just under £40/head for 2 couses, plenty of wine and coffee with baileys to follow. Will definitely go back.

Recently attended for brunch. The staff were friendly however we had to keep asking for water, as they didn’t bring it after asking twice already. Eggs weren’t cooked, tasted average.

I attend here regularly with my young children. The staff are always extremely friendly and make the kids feel welcome. The coffee is excellent I would highly recommend this place.

Called in for breakfast first visit here. Lovely and clean staff very friendly and pleasant I had eggs benedict which was presented lovely and very tasty. Good portions as well. Will be visiting for a breakfast soon

A little gem of a Bistro on a lovely leafy street. Small and intimate and the food is exquisite. Couldn't praise this delightful little place highly enough and the food would not be out of place coming out of the kitchen of a high end London establishment.

Food was excellent, but service slow - had to remind them to come and take a drinks order after being there for 15 min (on a Friday lunchtime). Could do with more staff in the kitchen, more experienced staff front of house, or both.

Do a small menu but do it well. Thought I'd take Pa out for a meal. Was going to take him somewhere new for a change of scene, but he wanted to go to his "local". Go on then, your choice we'll will goto the caf' over road. We'll it's not a cafe, it's a bistro, or is it? As Mavis would say "I don't rightly know" your best bet is to try it yourself. I can't vouch for the lunch menu, but as my father goes for his lunch there whenever possible it must have something about it. But the evening meal was very good. We booked for 5.30 (o'tinternet as Mr Kay would say) which is when they opened. As Dad is getting on a bit, and they recognised him, they asked us if we'd like to move further away from the door, which we did. They then were quite happy for us to move to another table, as Dad is of the "Turn big light on so I can see what I'm eating" generation. (Ambient lighting is not his thing.) Anyway I digress. Suffice to say the service was excellent and the northern soul was at just the right volume to create an atmosphere but we could still talk. The food, which is probably what you are reading this for rather than my ramblings, was excellent. Neither of us wanted a big meal so old fella had belly pork starter and straight onto pud of sticky toffee pudding. The pork apparently was v good and the pud looked big enough to share but it is amazing what oldies can put away, so I can't personally comment as there was none left. I had a mushroom risotto starter which was excellent. Think it said on the menu wild mushrooms, they were certainly tasty and I lost count on the number of types of mushrooms. For main I had one of their small plates, salmon fish cake, which appears to be one of their regulars. That too was very nice. I was going to go for the "beetroot cured salmon cream" srarter, but decided 2 lots of salmon would be a bit weird. Anyway we both had a really good meal, complements to the chef. Where do the cook? Do they exist? As far a I can see a doorbell rings, a door is opened and miraculously a tray of food appears. Is it magic? Who knows, who cares, you are looked after well and it's great grub. In summary, I go back to my first line. Do a small menu but do it well and throw in (not literally of course) some good customer service and you have a winning combination. As Arnie would say, I'll be back, but next time with the rest of the family.

Three of us went for breakfast here for the first time and we all agreed: best breakfast and eggs Benedict any of us have had anywhere. The quality of the ingredients is phenomenal, the bacon and sausage were both superb. Sourdough bread, duck egg. This will be out new place for breakfast, lunch menu looks fantastic too. Staff were very friendly also, lovely welcoming atmosphere.

Came across this great bistro. Kids really enjoyed their pancakes and the chorizo and black pudding hash that we had was amazing.

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! The staff are so friendly and smiley, the dishes are outstanding, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and wonderful dessert. The chocolate pot was to die for. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.

Excellent food in a fabulous little bistro restaurant. The chef is amazing, the service is really friendly and the music is fab too. Breakfast outside with the dog last week was excellent also and highly recommended (try the avocado and poached egg on sourdough…mmmm).

Been before food was good But sadly feel rather let down I rang for 3 days solid to book afternoon tea left messages in dm in Facebook and on their page no response I finally got through and received a rather curt response basically they don't answer phone messages and they are busy!!!!and now don't deliver non of this info is available on SM Yes get that your busy but a response to messages or at least update fbook info

Very nice spot for lunch. Welcoming and friendly. The food is tasty, at least what we had which was quiche and 'pressed' sandwich. The cakes look magnificent and I'm sure are also yummy so we will try them next visit

Good selection of tea, coffee, cakes and lunch time snacks - all served by friendly staff - can get very busy and crowded - but service is generally very good.

The food in the cafe is always of a very high standard and a good choice. However service is slow, also check the bill as I have been overcharged on a couple of occasions and not realised until I have left.

Lovely people run the Deli, the service is great, always see to remember you. We had found many Yarm eating places won't serve food after 11.15 and you have to wait until 12pm. So went to the Deli for a brunch on a damp Thursday...

Brilliant little place. I'll admit I've always used the self-serve coffee machine in the shop across the road but not anymore. I'll be coming back here for my morning coffees! Fantastic local business with great staff. Show them some love!

Nice food down side was I got 2 potions of salad I didnt want with crisps I wanted cheese and ham sandwich and quiche and a brownie. Came to nearly 14 pound which was expensive with the 2 salads and crisps. I went to rumbling tums Fairfield last week and had exactly the same order for 7 quid. Staff were nice and food were nice extras like salad should be exactly that..extras

The coffee here is excellent, and in the past I've had some lovely cake. Next time I would ask if the scones are fresh, as sadly the one I had was dry and definitely not baked on the day of purchase. Will definitely return though...

Came when friends were allowed. All safe & clean, staff lovely & accommodating, only complaint was the eggs were very pale in colour, but we still eat them 😊 sour dough & biscuits were delicious. We will be back.

Four of us had afternoon tea today and were well satisfied. There was a good variety of fresh finger sandwiches in white and brown bread. Fruit scones with butter jam and cream, cheese scones, lemon cheesecakes in tiny teacups and salted caramel cake. The staff were all lovely, friendly and helpful. We enjoy afternoon tea as a group regularly and this is definitely a venue we will be visiting again.

Visited last Saturday with family. Lovely little deli, nice friendly staff and quality food. Breakfast menu a little on the small side but still very nice. Great bacon buns and we took a scone home which was also lovely. Will return soon!

Arrived an hour before closing and everything was still available. We had takeaway and it didn't disappoint Panini = Amazing, Scones = Amazing, Scotch Eggs = Amazing and Rocky Road = Amazing!! Can't wait to go back.

Visited with a friend for afternoon tea earlier in the week. Recommend booking as it's very popular and busy. Vouchers through Groupon were amazing value. Portions were generous and delicious, food was very fresh and they easily accommodated my vegetarianism. Especially loved the cheesecake!! But also enjoyed the sandwiches and scones, and they provided boxes for our spare cakes - we got so full. Very generous pits of tea too and place was chilled, friendly and we were unrushed, as we were advised we could have the table for two hours!! Only minor point I'd that in the past they did some veggie wraps in the aft tea with humous and falafel but this time it was just sandwiches which were nice but I had loved the wraps!! But regardless we will be back.

Went for afternoon tea with a groupon voucher. Friendly service lovely sandwiches scones and cake/ mini cheese cakes. Tea and coffee provided with mini aremetti biscuits only down side not much parking spaces outside otherwise well worth the visit and price. They offer to box up left overs for you to take home.

Went to Station 5 for a Groupon cream tea. Fantastic. I'm a vegetarian, my wife isn't. We were both overwhelmed by the quality and quantity offered. Brad and Kimberley run a small business which deserves every success. We will be back.

4 of us went today for afternoon tea 1 on a stick diet & they changed hers to a jacket potatoe & salad, constant refill of tea, lovely atmosphere, staff cant do enough for you. Certainly recommend

We went to Station 5 Deli on a Groupon for afternoon tea and was very impressed There was such a large selection of sandwiches scones and cakes that we had to ask for a doggy bag.The tea and coffee was excellent and the service was prompt and the staff very friendly. We had a look at the normal menu and specials which seemed to have all that you could want in a cafe and at reasonable prices.The cafe was a nice relaxing place to eat, although the spotify music on the telly wasn't really to our taste but did provide good background musac We will go back in the future

Fantastic little deli tastefully decorated with lovely staff. Everything was delicious and homemade with 4 different sandwiches, not scrimped on the fillings, jam and cream scone, cheese scone and 3 different cakes- absolutely gorgeous!! Would highly recommend.
