We picked our food up to bring home very quick service and the food was beautiful value for money my husband and son got burgers and I got dirty fries with smash burger on we all really enjoyed it it was delicious I would definitely recommend best takeout we've ever had

I’ll keep this short and simple, My and I decided to take our son and partner and grandson out for breakfast. We waited well over an hour to get our food and when it finally arrived it was disgusting . Sausages had a funny taste and bacon was only warm and half cooked, adding insult to injury, this excuse for a breakfast cost approximately £12 , also the toilets were dirty and the actual place itself was very scruffy, Needless to say, we will not be returning

This was a great place to stay to explore. Lovely rooms with high ceiling and spacious. The building itself is very grand as the name suggests. Would stay again for sure.

Just a bit odd. Someone started cleaning the floors with a stinky mop and bucket while we were still finishing drinks.

Staff are always friendly and approachable - asked for some different music and it was not problem at all. Always a bubbly and relaxing atmosphere.

Lovely breakfast today at Biancos. Both of us ordered the easy breakfast. Great customer service as always. Special mention to Claire for making the best coffee I've had all week!

We had a really tastey Sunday carvery, the beef was delicious and very tender, there was a lot of vegatables to choose from and the gravy was excellent.

I first went to Mary Rowntrees & was impressed. When I visit Hartlepool, I’ll almost always have lunch there. The standard’s remained high, the ambiance is good, nice people go there & the price is good too. It’s warm too ! Whilst the rest of the hospitality industry is struggling & cheap heat-from-frozen food becomes more common, Mary Rowntrees remains head & shoulders above other cafés & eateries.

Really nice coffee, friendly staff, and decently priced. Nice and clean. I would definitely recommend a coffee or a cocktail if you're passing by. The toilets were also nice and clean.

Used to be good. Food came cold. Had to go looking for our drinks order. Cleared my own tablet. Had to go looking for cutlery. The female staff were uninterested and lazy (feet on the bar, literally) . The male menber of staff was friendly and very busy (see above). I was there November 2024 and it was a very different bar. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT ANYMORE.

Was pretty busy when we visited and was told it was short staffed. Considering this, the staff did great. Had a breakfast couldn't fault it at all. Allow dogs in the beer garden. An okay atmosphere but we had to leave due to "unwanted guests".
