I don't even know where to begin with Steph & her wonderful little escape from life. When you go in, you're greeted by a warm & intimate seating area, a bar & a stage (this is where the magic happens...) - The staff there, Steph, Lauren & Hope, are all absolutely amazing. Nothing is too much! I've been to a few of Steph's mic nights & every time I've left feeling on top of the world. That banter/back & forth you can have with Steph is so refreshing, and still maintains her iconic humour that lead to her rise in Social Media fame! Drinks are beyond reasonably prices, I paid £15.90 for a whole bottle of wine & a double gin & lemonade. In York where I'm from, that'll have set you back anywhere from £30 - £40! This was a lovely bar the food was really delicious and well priced. The staff were lovely would go back if went to hartlepool again.

Used to come here all the time with my Mam before she sadly passed away 5 years ago , we used to come on a Saturday , since then to keep my Mams lovely memory alive i have been back on many occasions as this is not just a normal cafe it has a hidden secret - EXCEPTIONAL THAI FOOD , usually one dish a day and differs every day just look on the specials board , something like this is a hidden gem and the service is always fast and friendly , the owner wouldnt hold it against me if i said she was a bit loud lol but thats just her way - a very friendly soul and this place is very popular with locals and shopkeepers who order their Thai food as a Takeaway. I love Thai food at the best of time but to find a place that serves it at lunchtime is very very rare , and as i said the quality is superb , ive never been to Thailand but ive eaten in many posh Thai restaurants and the quality of food matches and beats all of them. I visit Hartlepool from London several times a year and always make a beeline for this lovely cafe. The staff are friendly and the coffee is delicious - they know how to make a decent espresso which isn't a given in many cafes. I recommend the gorgeous vegan chocolate sponge pudding - ask them to heat it up. Goes nicely with coffee. Thankyou to all the staff.
