Biancos Deli in Hartlepool

What a generous friendly place - I had a migraine and wanted to take some tablets - I asked to buy a slice of toast and the lovely waiting staff just made me one free of charge ! Such kindness is a rare commodity and would certainly make me return - Lovely cup of tea too and my partner enjoyed his millionaires shortbread very much too

Ordered a take away. I'd say it's way over priced for what you get. The fillings are are really disappointing. I had the fajita panini/hot sandwich. Minimal chicken, and I can't help but think the veg where frozen veg, they tasted watery and very soft no crunch to the peppers at all, very bland taste no fajita kick. Could have made it myself at home for a much cheaper price. 1.80 for a small tub of sauce too ! I was expecting a large one. It cost me more than 17 pounds for 2 sandwiches, chips and a dip. It was worth 12 at best. Chips where nice. Overall disappointed.

Ordered chilli nachos and came to £7.90, honestly an absolute rip off. Must have been less than 0.50p worth of nacho’s, with a small tub of chilli. Looking back not surprised there was no one in when we went to order, please avoid if you don’t want to be ripped off.

Had takeaway brekkie whilst at the Travelodge. Delicious ciabatta - eggs, sausage and mushrooms, can add own fillings. The most amazing granola with low fat Greek yog, honey and fruit. Staff lovely- asked for extra fruit- no issue. Coffee wasn’t the best - like a strong cuppa. Parking is free for 15 mins - hindsight could have parked for free outside marina and walked in.

Visited today and sat in the outdoor seating area. Waited patiently to be served, after 15 mins waiting I decided to go in and order our food and drinks. Food and service was average, very disappointed as reviews we read before deciding to travel from North Yorkshire were decent. Views of the marina were the highlight.

Arrived at short notice with two friends who had not been there before and they received excellent service from staff who happily talked them through the menu. We all received really good food and coffee and the salads were wonderful. We will definitely be going back as it was a good experience and great value for money

Just had meat feast pizza, BBQ pulled Pork Panini and a salad to share it was gorgeous. Delivery lady was excellent.

On a visit from Newcastle, we looked round for somewhere to eat and thought this place looked nice, my husband who is Italian thought there might be some Italian dishes on the menu, we never got to find out. We waited outside and after finally catching the attention of one of the staff we asked if they had a table free, she asked if we wanted to sit inside or out and we said inside, she saw that there was 4 of us, three adults and a child, we went inside and we were shown to a table, there was only 3 chairs at the table and it was a little squashed so we were about to sit at the next table when another worker asked what were we doing? She said we could not move chairs, well there was only three chairs at this table also so we were about to take a chair from an empty table and we were told rather rudely that we could not due to covid, well there is three chairs and 4 of us so what were we supposed to do? They only accommodate tables of 3? They didn't seem interested in helping us at all so we just walked out and into the place next door! Horrible experience

Amazing Parmos! So we decided to treat ourselves to some takeaway and seen niam is started doing parmos and loafed parmos, we ordered a normal parmo and a fajita parmo. They were bloody delicious and absolutely huge it’s fed us two nights in a row. The parmos also came with 3 huge tubs of coleslaw which was ideal for sandwiches after as we couldn’t eat them all. We also ordered some delicious carrot cake and sparkle cake which was amazing. Their parmos are definitely one to try, keep up the excellent work guys!

Ordered one of each of the new parmesans with mix of dirty fries and normal. Amazing fresh hot food with speedy delivery. All the family enjoyed and the elders can be tough cookies to please, will definitely be ordering again 🙂

Pretty well signed up for face covering and hand gel, tables spaced ok, they just need the staff to wear thier masks correctly rather than as chin covers.... Food is tasty, salad bowls are very genourous, reasonable value. You just need to be patient with waiting to be served, food prepared and delivered to your table.

Just been to Biancos for the 1st time since lockdown... Food was on point as it always is and piping hot. The only issues were there's no signage up for how many customers allowed in at any one time and you could see that the staff were quite frustrated with people just walking in.Even heard some staff whinging about the customers being a bit snappy but maybe if there was clear directions & signs posted on how and where you're to wait etc then everyone would have a better overall experience, staff included. Can't knock the food but the staff were being a bit short with people at times.

Always love eating at biancos. Food is great as always. My only gripe is the service. During this pandemic it is now the norm to wait at the entrance of establishments like this, With adequate information exposing the service manner. Not here, people are allowed to get all the way in. Only to be rudely met by a staff member shouting can you wait outside. After eating inside near the entrance we witnessed this multiple times. The worker with the short hair looked miserable and seemed to get annoyed at people just walking in. How can you get annoyed when nothing is explained to customers. Then to get short and annoyed with paying guests. I witnessed her being extremely blunt and rude with nearly every customer she met. If you hate your job that much leave shut up or just have some information asking what you expect from your customers. To make things worse we watched all the staff laughing and joking after they spoke to a paying guest rudely because she was confused by been shouted to wait outside. Horrible horrible customer service.

I live very close to this restaurant on Navigation point, when I have my ten year old son staying over it’s a god send for a quick bite to eat when I don’t have time or can’t be bothered to cook, we both say that this place does the best cheese chips and garlic in town, the staff are all lovely and very friendly and the meals are very good value for money, I would definitely recommend this place and I will be visiting again. Thank you.

We called into Bianco’s for breakfast on Sunday morning, excellent choice of food available, all three of us chose the farmhouse half breakfast and wow that was good. The food was freshly prepared and plenty of it, not greasy like some. We were served by helpful friendly staff who did a good job. Well worth a visit, so refreshing to find young people who care about there job and the customers. Very good indeed

First place I stopped in Hartlepool, as I was having a mooch round the marina. Sat outside and had a decent cup of coffee and a copious hot ciabatta sandwich of meatballs, cheese, and onions. The idea of meatballs in a sandwich is new to me, but it was very nice. A lady, who I think was the owner, was kind enough to enquire about my hike, seeing my rucksack there; and it seems this is a vibrant place, with quite a few in for a mid morning. Worth a visit.

Called in for a coffee but ended up having a sandwich too, they had ran out of bread baps so I had a wrap instead it was delicious with lots of filling

Called in yesterday for bite to eat. Extremely busy but girls very efficient.Managed to get a table, I opted for the pesto chicken saladBy far the best salad I’ve had when eating out, large bowl filled to brim with mixed salad, gherkins, jalapeños, olives. Then choice of two extras I chose potato salad and cous cous. Topped with pesto chicken then a choice of dressing. I mmade a point of letting waitress know how great it was and that they are robbing themselves.... £5.50 for the salad. Amazing!! 2 meals glass of rose and a coke for £15.70 well worth it and more. Well done girls keep up the great work

Went for Lunch with my family. The food was superb from the salad to the waffle. The place does get very busy which shows how good the place is so you may not gets table straight away and you may have a little waiting time for the food because it is freshly prepared. Prices are good so go and enjoy Cheesy chips are brill

My friend and i have been to Bianco for lunch the past 2 weeks and we cannot fault it. food lovely and portion sizes are big staff friendly,would recommend it.

Beautiful summer evening, few pints then an Amazing light meal. I had pulled Beef Ciabatta with peppercorn sauce and mustard it was absolutely delicious packed with succulent lean tender beef that melted in my mouth. My son and his mate had the "Full House" pulled bbq pork pepperoni n meatballs and they loved every bite! We shared a side of homemade fat chips with two cheeses grated over the top n was yummy!.highly recommend this superb clean efficient well ran establishment!grest value at a fiver each!!

popped in Biancos after a bit of shopping on 18th April. Nice warm spring evening,so decided to opt for outside seat. given menu immediately and my wife Christine opted for cajun chicken panini and myself mexican .Portion of cheesey chips as well made for a delightful tea time meal.Chips were large portion and homemade. Would have got 5 stars but had to clear table ourselves before we sat down. Waitress was rushed off her feet though.

I've not been to Bianco's for a while but last week I went with my daughter and young grandson for breakfast. Good to see that nothing has changed. Lovely setting, friendly and helpful staff and great food at sensible prices. Breakfast was excellent but I'm a coffee aficionado and wasn't impressed with it. Bowl of "all sorts" for grandson was brilliant and very cheap. Still the go to place on Hartlepool Marina for me.

As a group we decided to order food in on Fri 22 Dec, orders collated & placed early requesting a delivery time of approx 12.15, anticipated a delay due to how busy they’d be & delighted when order arrived at 12.30, colleague collected it & distributed it to find hers wasn’t present, she called to be advised they’d do another & it would be there ASAP but no definitive time scale even though she’d waited once, 20 mins later she got a call to say it was at the door, she collected it & the driver asked for money again which he’d already been paid first time he delivered, she returned to her desk to find it was virtually cold, clearly the driver had returned to the shop, been informed an item had been missed, they’d located it & sent him back with it without keeping it warm, she really couldn’t heat it up either as it was nachos with cheese, so box wouldn’t fit in microwave so hers ended up in the bin, dreadful service from Bianco’s, the order should have been checked before leaving the shop, such a shame as all of the other items were hot & very tasty, however based on this experience we won’t be ordering again.

Visited Biancos on a number of occasions now & have not once been disappointed!The salad bowls for £5 are huge & beautiful!The homemade chips are beautiful also, again a large portion, we made the mistake of ordering a portion each, when 1 portion between 2 is more than enough.Then we visited for a breakfast - WOW!2 toast, 2 Sausage, 2 Bacon, 2 egg, hash brown, black pudding, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes & two pots of tea - £12 & the best breakfast I’ve tasted, that is not an understatement.Worth a visit for sure!

Visited for lunch with my son and his friend. We ordered panini and hot baguette with a portion of chips. The food was excellent but the chips.....oh my.......the biggest portion I've ever seen of chunky, huge, hot, crispy, soft centred deliciousness! We'll be back!

Panini's and wraps delivered to your work place but order early! Having eaten from just about every lunch time take away we gave Bianco's a try and we all love the food! We don't order everyday as the food can cost a little more and you get bored yes even with quality food.

Nice friendly place,food was delicious, staff very nice and friendly but certain parts of the shop could do with a good clean or freshen up. But can't fault the food its fresh and cooked well.

Great food very reasonably priced. Take away , eat in or eat outside. Choose the contents of your salad or panini. Staff very helpful. Food always delicious. Best chunky chips ever. For the faint hearted they do sweet potato chips too.

No había estado durante un tiempo de Bianco, por compromisos laborales y me di cuenta que me hacia falta un menú tan variado y la comida deliciosa, el personal es muy amable y servicial, no era mucho antes de que me volver de nuevo. Muy buen lugar y pop ubicación en una copa y sentarse fuera con vistas al puerto deportivo o simplemente observar a la gente. No te decepcionará.

Pedimos nachos con chili y jalapeños. Como vegetariano, he tenido esto en muchos lugares y el "chili" Parte ha sido la salsa de chili. La fuente estaba cubierta de chili carne (carne). Me quejé, pero me dijeron que dijo chili en el menú. No, pero no había chili. No hay oferta de reembolso o alternativos para que pagué me cogió. He sugerido a la camarera que menú para incluir con carne en la descripción. No volveré.

Biancos es uno de mis lugares favoritos para ir a almorzar. La comida es fantástica y el servicio es bueno también. Pollo cajún panini es mi favorito. Los precios no están mal tampoco. El único inconveniente es el tamaño del lugar. A veces tengo que salir, ya que es muy concurrido y no hay muchas mesas y creo que muchas personas son rechazados. Creo que hacerlo bien en un lugar más grande

Yo he comido más veces de lo que yo puedo bianco contar. Las ensaladas son increíbles y los bocadillos calientes. Hay muchas cosas para elegir y las ensaladas ofrecen una opción saludable. Las patatas fritas son épicos y puedes elegir distintos aderezos - sin duda avisar a compartir las patatas fritas como puede una montaña! ! Bianco's está siempre lleno y tiene una gran reputación, lo que no es sorprendente y es un gran valor, teniendo en cuenta el tamaño y la calidad de lo que te dan y las niñas son siempre sonriente y amable. Seguirá siendo un lugar favorito para ir a almorzar! :)

Absolutely delicious! My only fault is the price of garlic sauce - £1 for a tiny tub! Don't even pay £1 for a huge tub in pizza shops. Also, the drinks are quite pricey for a simple bottled drink but apart from that spot on.

After hearing so many good reviews about Bianco's recently, I decided to go there for dinner with my family. I was spoilt for choice looking at the menu! I eventually decided to go for a panini and some cheesy chips and they were delicious! It's only a small building and it gets VERY busy ... That's the only downfall but you can't knock the food

Aquí bastante regular en Pop para un bocado rápidoparece que siempre terminan con un panini y un enorme bowl de chips de queso que llegar al mostrador con artículos en mi mente, pero panini y chips de queso siempre de mi tounge roll.Nunca ha decepcionado con la comida yservicio de calidad a un precio decente y fantástica ubicación(más que en verano).

Mi novio y yo vine para almorzar. Se llena bastante cuando estuvimos allí, y pedimos dos bocadillos y un pollo pizziola lado de patatas fritas. Había pocas personas en que después de mí y mi novio, pero todos parecían conseguir su comida de primera. Esperamos al menos 30 minutos para la comida para salir.Las patatas fritas son increíbles y no estábamos seguros de si solo patatas fritas patatas fritas normales o sensiblero. Fuimos por las patatas normales pero vimos un par de órdenes de patatas fritas sensiblero trajo mientras estábamos esperando y el queso es colocado así estaremos tratando ellos la próxima vez.

La comida aquí es fantástica y muy recomendable, pero siempre parece haber un problema con el servicio. Largas para comida y conseguir que los pedidos mal. Primero pensé que era sólo un pero parece suceder cada vez que voy ahora.

I visited with my mother for quick bite and drink, at first impressions liked the decor as we sat inside as outside was full, I wasn't sure whether it was table service so after few minutes we went to counter to order, if honest staff member who served us didn't seem very bothered and didn't give us a good impression, I had panini, tea for two and cake, came to table, no sugar offered with tea we had to ask when waitress passed, food arrived and was slightly disappointed had seen the lovely salad bar yet the panini was served with slight bit of lettuce and one small piece of cucumber no dressing. Panini was acceptable but not over tasty. I also got a take away cake and salad, once home the cakes were stale which was disappointing as looked nice on stand. Overall impression staff need to be more attentive with their customer care.

A nice sandwich restaurant with good views of Hartlepool Marina. We've eaten here a few times for a light lunch, the hot ciabattas are nice, but there's lots to choose from on the menu. Good prices, and a very popular place.

Had an amazing lunch here on Saturday. Lovely sitting outside enjoying the sun. Had the best salad ever, huge! The rest had paninis which were fab. Omg the chunky chips covered in different toppings were lush! Defiantly going back!

After reading reviews thought we would give it a try, 1st impression was could do with a tidy up, food in grooves on table and leak stains on ceiling, but staff (around 5 of them) attentive and polite, food took forever to arrive (30 mins +) we were the only customers in? so drinks were cold before it arrived, plentiful plates and generally good quality, although a little greasy, not bad but would maybe travel further to the Headland for better food at better value?

Soy vegetariano, así que pedí el mozzarella panini y pedimos al pesto (algo que pedimos varias veces antes) pero me trajo un pollo y pesto ciabatta. Cuando informé a la camarera que mi pedido era incorrecta, ella me dijo que para ser más exacto cuando ordene la próxima vez, que me pareció muy desagradable, teniendo en cuenta le dije exactamente lo que quería de la misma manera que he hecho anteriormente

We pop in for breakfast quite often, the breakfast is very good, the staff are cheerful and service is very prompt, which is why we like it, there are different breakfasts on offer and they will cook it how ever you like it, well done to the staff who make breakfast look easy.

I called in here today with the girls from work. I had a lovely big salad with cous cous homemade crunchy coleslaw Peri peri chicken balsamic dressing and a cheeky bowl of sweet potato fries mmmmmmm. All the staff were really helpful regardless of being really busy . I will be back

What a lovely place, full of friendly faces and the food is absolutely awesome. Bravo Biancos, this 5 star establishment should not be missed. So refreshing to find somewhere that offers a vegan option as well. Nailed it!

Visited for lunch on a busy Saturday. The choice of food, both hot and cold, is quite varied and appealing. We both settled for salads, one tuna pasta and one garlic chicken. The choice of salad ingredients is fantastic - potato salad, beetroot, sweet corn, jalapeños, olives as well as lettuce and onion and tomatoes. There is also a great range of dressings - all included in the price. Fantastic salads at fantastic value for money prices.

Been many many times over the last two years, the paninis, home cooked chips and salad bowls are something special. Recently I've noticed its losing its relaxed pleasant vibe. Last two visits the place has been in chaos, with several tables left uncleared. The staff struggling to cope and the place looking tired and like it could do with a deep clean. I left on my last visit and went next door to cafe rapport as it was too dirty in Biancos, such a shame.

I Quite enjoy the Paninis in here, nice place to sit and have a coffee too, lovely in the summer when you wanna relax in the sun. Plenty of bars nearby too that you can nip in and out of.

Go here regularly and can recommend the paninis and the via cps meatball special with the extras which is awesome! Also the salads are very filling with generous portions and fresh ingredients.

The food was so fresh - all cooked to order. The salads were lovely - no limp lettuce there! All the food could be seen before the orders were given. Very helpful staff. We hadn't been there before but we'll definitely go again. Only called in because our favourite place, the Moorings, was closed for refurbishment. Well done Bianco's. Loved it.

Had amazing salad bowl today at Bianco's deli, food was so nice and so much of it could not finish the bowl. Was offered a goody bag to take home! Service was brilliant will be back again.

I've been meaning to write a review for donkeys but never get round to it.Im a regular eater outer and I'm always in biancos love the place I've had everything on the menu ,it's lovely.The pulled meat meat toasted ciabattas are to die for not to mention the delightful breakfast which are delightful too

Been to biancos many a time but recently found the service to be appauling. Advertise ingredients on the menu that they have ran out of for example bacon 'all went at Breakfast' was basically the girl telling us we should have came at 9 o'clock on the morning to stand a chance. Service is always rushed and sometimes find the place has a greasy feeling to it. Tried to come on Thursday as one of the only places on the marina that provides good seating outsides apart from when you're a party of two that can't have a seat as they only have tables of 4 so limit their customers. Saw some couples sitting at the tables outside of a closed bar next door just to sit outside and when asking one of the waitresses if this was okay just got a 'well you can but if they come out you'll have to move' considering the bar looked completely closed I didn't think this would be likely and her attitude seemed as if she wasn't really bothered if biancos had our custom or not. Decided not to stay because of this and don't think I'll be back.

Myself and husband called in today as I love the meatball ciabattas. . Sadly they don't do the steak ones anymore so hubby opted for one aswell. I think everyone decided to come here at the same time, so we got ours to take out, which didn't take that long to be ready considering how busy they were.our dinner was delicious as always

My daughter and I visited last Saturday (19th July 2014). Decided to eat in for a change (poor decision). Greeted with a scowl and spoken to very abruptly! I would normally have walked out at this stage but my daughter was looking forward to her lunch. When the food came my daughter politely asked for mayonnaise. Oh boy, this was clearly pushing it too far! Truthfully, food was amazing, completely faultless. If you want a friendly service though, stay clear!!!

Two of us visited for cake and coffee. Carrot cake with ice cream was superb and the lattes were first class. Coupled with friendly efficient service this was a great visit. Will return soon.

The salads are wonderful and fresh at this deli. Sandwiches are freshly made and very tasty. Great food at a reasonable price. Well worth a visit.

Pizzas and the sandwiches are really, really nice. Freshly made to order and you can tell :) Prices are very reasonable and you can even have a cold beer or wine if you feel so inclined! Overall, a lovely place to stop, chill out and watch the world go by.

I visit biancos quite a lot and I always say it's good job the food is nice because the service is always shocking! The staff are abrupt and ignorant. On this occasion when we arrived home and opened the food, it had hairs inside of it and had onions and peppers in the sandwich was specifically asked not for! I don't recommend to anyone!

as a regular visitor and never disappointed.all I can do is recommend that if you are at the Hartlepool Marina call in you will not be disappointed.Family run Deli Bar which is also a licenced premises the food as I said is home made and delicious. winter veg soup at this time of the year is always good, meatball classic chiabatta is a favourite of mine along with a portion of chunky chips. to die for unfortunately there is that many I find it hard to finish them.Call in you will not be disappointed !
