Great little breakfast joint with a nice menu! Loved the French Toast 😋

I had a lovely stay here, a lovely welcome on arrival, it’s a lovely old building with plenty of character. My room was cosy, it had everything required, walk in shower was very good, the bed was comfortable, halls were narrow but this will be down to the age of the property. I never experienced the food in the evenings but I will say breakfast was delicious. Don’t be deterred by the road, I could barely hear anything when in my room and this was road side. Overall, a pleasant stay, staff were lovely. Thank you.

First visit, won't be going back. The service was lack luster, staff weren't particularly interested or enthusiastic. The server who brought over my drink didn't say anything or engage at all. The menu descriptions are poor. My chorizo and halloumi hash bowl came with a poached egg which wasn't mentioned on the menu at all. Thankfully I'm not allergic. Portion size was good for the price. If the service had been better I would go back, unfortunately it wasn't.

Excellent place for coffee, cake and snacks. Large outdoor area with good seating. We enjoyed sausage rolls, excellent scones, St Cutberts slice and really good americanos. This is just around the corner from the Priory, 10 mins from the car park.

We went to this bar because of the Side A band. The foods are terrible!!! The worst Pizza we have ever eaten! The serving size of their food, like the fries in a small plate with a price of ₱400++. Their food and drinks are very expensive! The prices are acceptable as long as the foods are great. Thankful to Side A for making our night memorable and enjoyable.

We aren’t local and chose to eat here purely from online photos. It looks amazing on the photos, however is a little more tired in person. It’s dark inside but certainly has character. We were given a warm welcome and prices were reasonable for both food and drink. Portion sizes were good, quality not so great and certainly didn’t match the photos. All was ok until a ‘singer’ very loudly belted their way through what were originally good songs. I’m glad we were sat upstairs, I really feel for anyone who had chosen to sit downstairs. Overall it was a pleasant evening but I don’t think we’d return if we were back in the area.

Dog friendly pub for lunch in cosy surroundings. We had the two course lunch as usual. Starters very good, especially the generous chicken Caesar salad. Main courses were disappointing, apart from the chips. My lasagne was a bubbling cauldron of gloop. No discernible layers, no cheese sauce topping. A great shame as we've come for lunch many times but feel the quality is going down.

Love the Garter Proper Drinking and meeting place in the centre of the Toon.. Great Service and a decent pint of Ale.. Get yerself in... You don't know what your missing.. ®Recommend DJMcG 😀

Lovely Sunday lunch for Mother’s Day with family and very generous portions. Always lovely for Sunday lunch at the 3 horseshoes.

Nothing Italian about this place, no music, soon as sat down young girl asked what lager I wanted? Didn't like that, bit patronising, lasagne was just sauce around a globule of cheese, basic and tasteless.Wife had chicken in sauce,very basic nit worth the price..Overall 3 of us went 3 of us left disappointed and wouldn't go back..Over priced Nd Over rated..not for me what if used to be, poor effort..

Nice location but absolutely no atmosphere. If you have a place like this, crack a smile. Talk to your customers. It’s a people business.

Disfrutamos mucho de nuestro tiempo en Broomhouse Farm el domingo por la tarde. La aventura en el bosque fue fantástica, y qué hermoso escenario! También disfrutamos viendo los corderos bebés y la comida elegida en la cafetería era de primer nivel! La calidad era excelente, y como siempre, el personal muy educado y servicial. (Agradecimiento especial a un hombre alto y joven que nos sirvió en la heladería, y también en el mostrador de pasteles - extremadamente atractivo y un crédito para el negocio! )

Terrible servicio. El personal es grosero y muy poco cooperativo. Bonito lugar de aspecto, pero no vale la pena el trato decepcionante por el personal. Una larga espera para sentarse sin compromiso sobre dónde se sienta. Newcastle está lleno de lugares agradables. Creo que me quedaré fuera.
