The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in North East

We called in at the Rocking Horse cafe for tea and cake with our new little border collie pup. We spent an hour or so chatting with Andrew the owner and he gave us some really good advice on canine behaviour and very useful training tips. The cafe is very welcoming, food is amazing and it’s great that dogs are so welcome and even get to play with the two resident collies in the large secure garden. I would highly recommend a visit for both food and help with dog training and agility skills

I treated my friend for her birthday to tea here. Absolutely amazing, delicious home made cakes, scones and sandwiches. The atmosphere is really warm and welcoming and well worth a return visit.

Amazing cake , sones and freak shake . All the food coming out was big potions and everyone eating looked really happy . I'll be visiting again

This friendly pub is the second oldest pub in South Shields and has a wonderful view across the river and out to sea. Their Sunday dinners are delicious easily the best roasts in the area, with all the trimmings and generous helpings. Highly recommended to all.

Great service and value and local produce in shop. 8 of us called in for a pre-walk coffee and cake/teacake. Although the place was busy, we were served swiftly and courteously. Definitely will revisit and recommend.

Wow, wow, wow. This was a very wonderful surprise to dine here. We were expecting average/ good pub food and we got restaurant standard wonderful food. The cod fish dish was exceptionally good, and the chocolate expresso ice cream pudding was divine. What a fabulous place…. and just wish we lived locally. The very delightful waitress made our visit even more lovely. This was the best meal we have had in the Durham area.

Pleasantly surprised that this wonderful cafe was open from 8am in a Sunday. Clean, pleasant environment. Delicious breakfast sandwiches and filter coffee plus service with a smile.

Me and the wife visited here for a full English breakfast , and I must say it’s one of the best I’ve had , food very fresh and hot , caramel latte best ever, and the staff very friendly . Highly recommend, free car park at the rear.

A lovely location, sat outside in the sunshine with my dog, a pot of tea, cheese scone followed by a piece of carrot cake, absolutely delicious. Thank You, I can't wait to return

I would thoroughly recommend this coffee shop . We had a brunch of delicious blueberry pancakes and my hubbie had pancakes with bacon followed by a yummy strawberry scone ! The coffee was amazing and the staff couldn’t have been nicer 😀

Después de nuestra llegada a media tarde y check-in en el Durham's Hotel Indigo, mi esposa y yo tuvimos un tiempo para matar antes de que nuestra habitación estuviera lista, así que, sintiéndonos picoteados, decidimos aprovechar lo que se ofrecía en la convenientemente ubicada Neighbourhood Coffee House y no nos decepcionaron. A pesar de la deliciosa y satisfactoria tarta casera del día y el excelente café que se ofrece, el servicio que recibimos de Harper, el joven empleado en servicio de mostrador en ese momento, fue ejemplar en todos los aspectos. Su manera acogedora y su eficiencia amable ponen nuestras vacaciones de tres días en el mejor de los pies y ella merece cada plaudit que sin duda viene en su camino.

The food is absolutely good and definitely taste the "chicken quesadillas". On the other hand, the portions are very small. Advice order two right away and take your time because it doesn't go very fast. Perhaps because of the online orders because as said, the food is certainly good.

Popped in with friends just for a cupper on a quiet Monday afternoon and ended up having food and a mocktail. Really friendly staff and lovely food. Will definitely be returning as the cocktails looked great, and the menu looked like there was a lot more to tempt me.

Great Christmas meal (vegan) and lots of it. Starter, main and dessert. All delicious and very tasty.
