Came here for Afternoon tea because it was close to where we were at the time. Just okay overall. Nothing to write home about. The tart shells were getting soft, the red velvet cake felt really gummy, and the sandwiches weren’t the best. I really liked their scones though! And the tea was pretty good. You do get a lot of food with the tea.

Unfortunately, I have again been unfairly treated. (23/11/2024) The lady at the bar today wants me to plead with her for her to serve me a drink. It's sometimes kind of getting more obvious. I went back to my seat to order from the app, and no one has responded in 30mins. I am not sure please is a requirement to be served a drink politely. disappointment at all, friendly and happy people seniors. Only once have I felt I was not treated well. Guess the kitchen lady didn't know I frequent the pub and acted really weird towards me (just can't forget that day).

I hate to give a 1-star review, but unfortunately, the food was just not good at all. We ordered sausage bandari, expecting something authentic, but it was far from it. There was a noticeable taste of curry powder, which didn’t belong in the dish. On the plus side, the chips were nice. However, after the meal and throughout the night, we experienced the worst stomach ache we've had in a long time. It’s really disappointing because we used to come here regularly for over 20 years, but the quality has declined drastically. Sadly, I won't be going back.

Nice relaxing atmosphere with good beers at a reasonable price for where it is.

I recently returned to The Hampton, a place that holds many fond memories from my childhood. Although it has changed its name since my last visit, the essence of the pub remains the same. Walking through the doors felt like stepping back in time, with many of the regulars still enjoying their time there just like years ago. The pub has undergone some fantastic renovations that really enhance its atmosphere. It looks brighter and more inviting, making it a great spot for both families and adults alike. I was impressed by how they’ve created spaces that accommodate everyone, ensuring that everyone feels welcome and comfortable. While I didn't get a chance to try the food during my visit, I noticed a dedicated side of the pub for dining, which looked appealing and well-organized. The menu seemed diverse, catering to various tastes, and I’ve heard positive reviews from others who have dined there. Overall, my experience at The Hampton was delightful, rekindling nostalgic memories while also appreciating the improvements made. I can't wait to return, perhaps with family, to enjoy a meal and soak in the lively atmosphere once more!
