The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in East of England

24/5/25. All the staff were polite and attentive, delicious food at a good price. Not sure on the washroom decor.

He estado antes y era ridículamente lento, así que no lo ha sido, pero como estaba en el hotel solo por trabajo pensé que volvería a intentarlo, aún así el servicio espantoso, tardé 5 minutos para que alguien viniera e incluso me sentara. Esperé más de 40 minutos antes de pagar mi bebida y salir, no había más de 4 mesas en todo el pub. Al decirles que no tenían ni una palabra que decir al respecto. Mala gestión y personal deficiente. Necesito una revisión seria.

Wonderful lunch as usual, such a friendly welcoming pub! Great lunch, food was hot , my partner had the burger , I had a carvery. service was amazing. Lovely waitress Naomi who was new was attentive to all our needs , very friendly & bubbly! Finished off with a cold cider in the sun. See you next week ☺️

Lovely staff and coffee but the toilets are awful and terribly dirty. Hoping it was a one off but going by the other reviews, possibly not.

Visited the Princess Charlotte after spending the afternoon seeing Ipswich women win the League and be promoted to Championship. Lovely atmosphere, very warm and welcoming. We were served by Kris, whose customer service is second to none, beautiful bubbly personality.

Very disappointed afternoon tea for my friend’s birthday. continuous bouncing from people walking past on a sprung floor which I found very annoying. The scones were lovely but only plain ones not with fruit like the menu suggested, the Battenberg was so dry it must of been left out all day , the rest were pretty but tasteless . The first tea wasn’t particularly very hot with only one tea strainer to share for two different types of tea . Will definitely not be recommending to anyone.

Everyone there is so lovely, coffee tastes amazing and I go every week as it is so good!

What great establishment! Genuinely taken back by the high level of service received from Jess and Declan. Both really nice people and fantastic at their job! Looking forward to returning soon.

Met up with family for a birthday lunch. Family members had toasted sandwiches but I had the prawn, crab and avocado salad. I ate it as I was hungry but the ingredients weren't good quality. There wasn't much salad only a small bit of iceberg lettuce and a few tomato slices that were unripe and were cut so thin you could see through them. In the middle of the bowl was a big dollop of small prawns with crab and avocado paste all mixed up together with a dressing. I imagined it would be a few king prawns with a couple of crab sticks and pieces of avocado but it was all a mush. Anyway I didn't complain but thought I wouldn't eat that again as it's quite expensive and not worth it. When I got to my mum's house I had to rush to use the toilet super quick as the lunch had run through my system. Very unpleasant, I won't go into detail! This running to the loo went on for a few days. I thought I should let the pub know as they need to know. I phoned them to let them know that they need to be careful when serving prawns and salads etc and was really surprised at the attitude of the lady on the phone. She didn't apologise once and denied that there could have been anything wrong with her food. I'm really disappointed. I live in London and visit Harpenden now and then to see family. Won't be going back there. It's obvious they don't care about their customers. Be careful that their sea food salads might give you diarrhoea.

Quite odd experience and not great service. We waited to be seated and were given breakfast menus. We chose what we wanted to eat and waited about 15 minutes before we weed acknowledged. I went up to the till and was told rather curtly that it was table service. I eventually attracted someone’s attention to be told that breakfast had finished and only lunch was being served. Not great and we left.

I have been trying to contact core/Popworld for 2 weeks now to arrange a party nobody gets back in contact with you regarding your enquiry and can't get hold of anyone on the phone!

From the first step inside we were greeted and welcomed with the warmest of hospitality. All the staff were attentive and happy; working hard when the majority of us were enjoying time off (Sunday 29th December). The food was extremely well cooked, generous in portion size, and nicely presented, with menu options for everyone, and at incredibly good value. The room was well laid out, it was extremely clean, and there was a gorgeous roaring fire in the bar area. Wonderful photographs of local lifeboat crews adorn some of the walls - a tribute to the bravery and dedication of local heros. There was a mix of clientele and the atmosphere was extremely enjoyable as a result of attentive and professional staff. Thoroughly enjoyed and would definitely return and recommend. Had a lovely birthday breakfast yesterday. Staff made it very special (even though they didn’t know it was my birthday!) very friendly branch.

Nice pub with friendly staff and good service but the Sunday roasts are disappointing. Cheap meat and mountains of veg. Overpriced and won’t have another.

Greeted by 4 to 5 staring teenagers as we entered. Very weird to be sat with them in the small area as we couldn't go to the other area away from them as we had children , with no one else In there.. so it was very cosy with all the staff congregating.. very fussy about where we could sit , with our 10 and 12 year old. To many staff to warrant that many working in such a small environment. We felt we Interupted their staff chat instead of being made to feel welcome . Would of eaten but swiftly changed our minds . £3.50 for a takeaway black coffee is steep too.
