Costa Coffee in Huntingdonshire

We invariably call in most Thursdays for a drink whilst in Huntingdon and this is one of Costa's better branches. (We wouldn't entertain the diabolical St Neots branch where we live ! ) We always get excellent service here and the staff are so friendly and helpful ,

We like the Costa brand and know what to expect with food and drinks. A lot of Costas have let their standards slip since the Covid lockdowns. They are back to most tables being piled high with dirty cups and plates, tables not being cleared and wiped and service that leaves a lot to be desired. They are hit and miss, unfortunately with more misses than hits. We normally visit this branch once a week when we are over from St Neots ( We wouldn't touch the town centre or Eaton Socon Costas with a barge pole) and the standards here are excellent. Tables are cleared and cleaned quickly and the staff are always polite and helpful. They also recognize our mobility issues and invariably offer to bring our tray to our table. They could set a shining example to a lot of other Costa branches.

Was inside this coffee shop no longer than three minutes by the time I’d ordered and received by iced drink to go. This is a big plus during these troubling times, so to be in and out so quickly is great. I was also able to order oat milk as a substitute to regular dairy.

還是英國一直很喜歡這家咖啡店，在英國幾乎 很容易見到他的連鎖店，咖啡好喝價格也不貴，配上應英式點心選擇很多，也可以簡單地買個三明治，整體來說品質還不錯！

We popped in for a spot of lunch and a coffee. Although about to close temporarily for refurbishment, the food and service was still amazing.

Maybe we are unlucky, but everytime we go to this Costa the service seems to be very slow. The coffee is ok, what you expect from Costa, but like many coffee shops the coffee could be served warmer. One thing that is particularly annoying is the tables never seem to be cleared by staff quickly, at busy times will almost certainly have to do the table clearing yourself if you want to get a table. Even at quieter times they take too long to do the clearing. As you are paying a premium compared to the cost of the food and drinks provided, they really should have more staff on duty to ensure coffee is served quickly and the tables are cleared and cleaned efficiently.

Coffee was ok but nothing great. Snack was better. Clean and busy. Simple refreshment stop in a very ordinary town. Most sat round in the windows.

Came here today whilst on a day out. As with any Costa there was good service and great coffee. We had mocha and flat white.

Great service from friendly staff. There is an unusual but fantastic community vibe here. What a great place. Sky big with the above, the usual Costa Coffee menu is on offer. Clean tables and clean toilets.

Had a Latte with banana cake, some biscuits and water. Latte was lukewarm and went cold quite quickly. Banana cake was dry and the biscuits seemed stale. The atmosphere was ok but not sparkling clean. The table I was at rocked back and forth which was annoying. It seems to me that Costa Coffee charge a premium price but do not provide a premium service or products. I suspect that they pay their staff peanuts so why would they be motivated.

Costa Huntingdon High Street is still our firm favourite. Cafe Nero has opened in the town this week and is nice however Costa Coffee is the best .........We will be back each week.

We never fail to enjoy our visits to Costa Huntingdon, its very much our weekly treat. The staff are always on the go but never too busy to be friendly and efficient.

Costa is a good coffee shop for getting a drink with my friends in out college lunch break! However, theye are constantly running out...in December I tried the mint hot chocolate...but when I returned for another a week later (20th December) I was told they had run out of all xmas hot chocolates and the gingerbread latte! This has recently happened again where I went in to find out they had run out of the iced fruity drinks...and my friend had already bought his...so I ended up sitting in a coffee shop with a bottle of fruit juice which I could have got anywhere! 😓

Love having my coffee in the morning but to my great surprise a Costa Coffees I have visited in Peterborough and one in March lacked cleanliness and service. We had to clean our own table althoughnit hasnt been busy and the staff was arguing between them regarding their shifts.

same as any Costa. Good coffee, food pricey, but you do know what you are getting.nice decor as with most of them.

Coffee is always good. I like their flat white. Ham toasties are a bit boring they have what I call plastic ham in them so not very tasty.

I like the atmosphere in this Costa, cool and relaxed atmosphere Coffee here is good as you can taste the coffee without getting an over strong taste Good selection of lunch style food as well Staff are professional and helpful and they keep things clean even when nusy

This cafe is on par with other Costa Coffee and their high standards. Good choice of food and drinks.

This Costa is in a very good location, in the pedestrian high street, & has an outside sitting area. However whilst it has all the usual features is doesn't deliver the usual atmosphere or feeling of a nice 'break' from the shopping. Comes over as slightly dreary. Maybe its on the chain's list of a refurb; but it certainly needs something to lift it.

Coffee still good, friend had hot chocolate with marshmallows and flake looked divine, cakes still just as good as always but first time I have been with a wheel chair user, not a lot of room without having to move all chairs out of the way and then in the way of others, seating available outside if weather permitting.

I don't quite know what was wrong but although the coffee is of the usual standard, the décor seemed a little tired and depressing. The staff were pleasant and efficient, tables cleaned regularly, room outside to sit if you want.
