Great location, great welcoming staff, great coffee .......

Often stop in here for coffee and a snack.

super cosy inside great for catching up with friends or getting work done as there are arm chairs, big tables and little tables. Music is usually soothing jazz and the staff are always super nice!

Why is it that every Cafe Nero needs a really good deep clean??? This one was no exception, crumbs and bits on tables and floors, a film of grime everywhere. It was disgusting. Toilets awful too. Drinks were good though but that's about it. Food overpriced.

Recent visit resulted in an awesome coffee (regular americano with an extra double shot) with great service and background music.

With all the coffee shops we have on offer in Bury St. Edmunds this is by far my favourite and i always come here when I am in town. The coffee is delicious and the staff are always friendly, helpful and polite. Lovely ambience and dog friendly too what's not to love!!

Coffee is 5 star. Venue 3, staff 4. The premises are shabby and the staircase to the larger seating area upstairs is unsafe, rickety and needs an additional handrail on the wall. Seating was hard to find due to all tables for 4 being occupied by singletons using WiFi. One of two armchairs was occupied by an extremely smelly and hairy lurcher dog. Possibly Normal for Norfolk! Bad-tempered female barista.

1st time in Norwich and Nero is a great place for coffee and a seat outside to people watch.

We both had a coffee, a plain americano for me, and with oat milk for my wife. Nothing wrong with them but the cafe especially upstairs is looking tired. It needs some money spent on it. The floor, furniture etc are looking tatty.

Needs a really good clean! Everything is dirty and messy. The counter top, windows, mirrors, card machine, till, floors and tables. Dog walking around lose and sitting on furniture. Not hygienic while people are eating! Disgusting! 🤢

There was a bit of a wait to be served, I ordered a small oat milk latte and a large latte normal milk. The server asked me if I wanted milk in my latte! I was dumbfounded. Anyway after much too-ing and fro-ing and many repeated orders. I ended up with two cool latter's of the same size. Not impressed.

To manager/owner: please buy from suppliers coconut milk not mixed with soya. Most people in Britain don't use soya at all and some have soya allergy. I know suppliers sell clear coconut milk. Also, why don't you have almond milk? I put one star for the mixed milk. I love your coffee but you should take care of the choice of milk.

I visit this store pretty much every morning, usually ordering via the app (I’m a disorganised mess and don’t always have time to stop in) but I can say with confidence that every single member of staff at this particular store are a credit to the business, absolutely amazing service every single time 💖💖💖

A delightful Barista Cafe,Try the first floor seating area when you've ordered your coffee ect,and enjoy the wonderful views of Norwich Market which is overlooked by the Stunning Town Hall.

Well and truly rodger'd with no lube by café Nero this morning, caramel shortbread was probably too small for a 3yr old to eat but still a price tag of around £3.50, the slice of chocolate cake was £3.50 and about as wide as a playing card hence it laying and definitely not standing proud on the plate.great coffee and friendly staff which is always nice when robbing you face to face.word of warning do not buy cakes or any other food unless you are a millionaire.shame on you Nero

Sat upstairs very stuffy and noisy, Table not clean when we sat down , but staff on til helpful... seating downstairs limited and very close together. If I return it will be to take out.

The staff are always very friendly and helpful, the chocolate muffins are out of this world and it's nice to have a latte in a cup instead of paper cup.

After being served by the pleasant and friendly female member of staff, we enjoyed our espresso and Americano in the upstairs lounge overlooking the market. Although we weren't hungry it was good to see some savoury and sweet vegan options available.

Pretty poor to be honest. Very slow service and a particular drink my partner wanted was out of stock but still on the menu, it should have been removed if it wasn't available.

Unfortunately wasn't able to try the pistachio iced latte (presumably due to stock issues) but the coffee I did have was delicious and I'll be visiting again to try the pistachio one another time. Food was great too and the man serving was extremely friendly and personable.

It's a chain coffee shop, they sell overpriced coffee that let's be honest doesn't taste that great. but like so many others I use on occasion because its easy.

I use Cafe Nero often, this morning i had to wait a fair amount of time as there was a large order being prepped, when i got to the counter the chap behind the counter said ‘ i will only charge you for one item as you have been waiting far too long, and thank you for your patience”, what fantastic customer service! I didnt expect that and knowing what its like facing a long queue when you have a big order of something i was prepared to wait, but it was a nice gesture, i will only be using that particular caffe nero from now on, great staff!

Always amazing. Awesome staff and do try the capuchino cake its a MUST... Americano with this cake goesss soooo good. Also chocolate fudge cake and carrot cake is good too.

The two waiting staff were organised, efficient attentive. Everyone was served quickly without any problem. Moreover they were very courteous.

Great for cutting back on caffeine - my flat white was half foam in an already tiny dolly's cup - what's the point? Great value (for them) at £3. How does a coffee chain get something so basic so wrong? Moral of that story - stick to independents.

Found in the centre of Norwich while wandering around. Only a small shop with limited inside seating, some of which was unusable as damaged and marked off not to use. Always excellent coffee in Nero and a must for hubby.

Staff not very friendly or attentive. It possibly was my first experience of age invisibility!

Go to coffee shop if you’re looking for a really dark roast and burnt coffee. I’ve visited multiple café Neros and they vary but I’ve always consistently experienced burnt coffee here and if you’re a coffee nut like myself, you’ll recognise instantly it’s a poorly made cup of coffee.

Nice coffee, a bit small downstairs, room upstairs, stairs a bit steep. Not much on offer for vegans

I visited this place yesterday, a Saturday, wary as it’s a busy day & not had greatest experience previously. Be very wary if you are disabled, older & female, the lack of any assistance is totally lacking. It wasn’t due to lack of staff, there were a fair few standing aimlessly at the counter. I use a mobility walker, it’s a narrow, heavy door, difficult to manage. A striking looking young woman, with loads of face piercings & masses of colourful make up “served me”, poor customer service & I struggled to get back out the door, so I could sit outside. To add insult to injury, I didn’t get my loyalty bonus stamp for having my own cup. Before anyone asks why I went there again, with mobility issues, you go where nearest & as I’d usually go to the St Stephens Street branch (nicer & better customer service) but Norwich City Council, in their wisdom (they have form in this) have closed off this street for 8 months to upgrade bust stops or something!! But after this awful experience, will go elsewhere & or the market stalls nearby (I knew I should have gone there, as I was attempting to come out of Caffe Nero. Why don’t bosses/managers do something about this branch, especially as there’s now another Costa Coffee a few doors down??

Looking for a quick lunch in Norwich City Centre we came across Cafe Nero. A little cramped downstairs when queuing to be served but plenty of space upstairs to sit sit eat. Although thr floor was a bit of a mess and the toilets weren't the cleanest, our table was cleaned when we arrived and the service was excellent. For less than £10 I got a drink, a sandwich, crisps and a cake, which was more than enough. A decent sandwich and a relaxed atmosphere upstairs was all we wanted and exactly what we got.

Fantastic service, and the guys on duty today were friendly, and provided great care and attention.

So relieved, I thought I had Covid, but thankfully no. We go in here quiet often. Today the service was excellent and very efficient but the cappuccinos were the most tasteless we have ever had here. Had to eat something, quickly, afterwards just to make sure it wasn't us. No idea what went wrong but definitely not up to usual standard.

I enjoyed my visit on a half term week which meant every eating establishment was very crowded at lunchtime. I liked the fact people with pushchairs weren't put off coming in despite the limited seating. Nice atmosphere and good food.

This is my go to place to write. Peaceful atmosphere, excellent coffee and the staffare always super friendly.

Rather hit and miss customer service and oversweet hot chocolate. The premises feel a bit grubby.

Love the coffee from Cafe Nero. Love that O2 customers currently get a free coffee every Tuesday and Wednesday. Was able to take dogs in to order takeaway coffee. There are 3 cafe Nero's in Norwich advertised on Google, however one doesn't exist, seems to be now part of M&S food hall.

Stopped for coffee whilst on the Go Go Dinosaur trail. Enjoyed it so much we returned at the end of the hunt for another coffee. Staff friendly and efficient, coffee very nice indeed.

We usually avoid chain coffee shops, but were very pleasantly surprised by the excellent coffee and high standard of food on offer.. In particular we appreciated that there were some delicious vegan options The staff were pleasant, but slow to clear away used cups and plates from vacant tables. We ended up clearing the table ourselves before we could sit down. This is quite a common problem in many cafes and is probably more due to understaffing than laziness

The guy with the glasses and a tattoo behind till was so lovely! I didn’t catch his name but he recommended the frappe latte and it’s pengggg. Amazing service by everyone there as well. Will be coming back. (3:00)

Purchased the breakfast panini, as a treat. £4.75. Should have kept money in my pocket. One slice of streaky, two round slithers of sausage and couldn’t find any egg. It read so nice on the menu. Not to be repeated, ripped off once shame on you, ripped off twice shame on me...

The girls in here were great!! Worked hard and fast and as always, better than all the others!

I brought my own cup for coffee and therefore cafe Nero gave me 2 stamps on my loyalty card. The first coffee place to offer this to encourage environmental friendly approach this needs to be used in their marketing nationwide. A really pleasant surprise, friendly staff and hot coffee a nice view from upstairs over the market place.
