We’ve been coming here for years. The food is always good and a welcoming stop with the dog after a long walk. The only thing that really lets it down is the coffee and cake. I’d love to see some homemade local cakes on offer instead of the prepackaged tasteless ones they sell. You’ve got to have decent coffee and cake after a cold wet dog walk! Norfolk offers great coffee everywhere now and it seems the court yard cafe at Holkham is lagging behind.

Disappointed. Been coming here many years, and it just keeps going downhill. This week, we had to wait over an hour for food. We were told this was due to only having one chef. However, they didn't tell us this when we ordered. We'd have gone elsewhere. Sadly the food wasn't great when it arrived.

Called in here the other night after reading some good reviews. They were right! Lovely place which is family run. A warm welcome from the staff, and the food was amazing! Special mention for the mushroom pie as it was incredible. Vegetarian pies can be hit or miss and this one was certainly a hit! Chips and vegetables lovely too. Oh and the chocolate and peanut butter cheesecake was wow! Will be back and will probably stay over having seen the rooms and new lodges.

Popped into this deli whilst visiting Wells as it looked inviting from outside . We were not disappointed. Greeted by a friendly member of staff who showed us to a table immediately, despite the place being really busy. A polite waitress came to the table within a few minutes and took our breakfast order from the extensive menu . I liked the idea of paying when you order as it saves trying to get the attention of a waiter after the meal especially if a place is busy. A great idea. The food arrived promptly. It was very well presented, really freshly cooked and was tasty and great value. The waiting staff ensured we had everything we needed and rechecked to make sure everything was fine. It certainly was. A lovely deli that will definitely have our custom in the future. Highly recommended.

From the first step inside we were greeted and welcomed with the warmest of hospitality. All the staff were attentive and happy; working hard when the majority of us were enjoying time off (Sunday 29th December). The food was extremely well cooked, generous in portion size, and nicely presented, with menu options for everyone, and at incredibly good value. The room was well laid out, it was extremely clean, and there was a gorgeous roaring fire in the bar area. Wonderful photographs of local lifeboat crews adorn some of the walls - a tribute to the bravery and dedication of local heros. There was a mix of clientele and the atmosphere was extremely enjoyable as a result of attentive and professional staff. Thoroughly enjoyed and would definitely return and recommend. Thank you and our wishes for your continued success.

I’ve been going to Stiffkey stores for 10 years. My only question is, why have so many people got sticks up their arses ? The amount of moaning in these reviews has nothing to do with the personalities of the staff at Stiffkey Stores and everything to do with the fruitless lives of the greater British public. My favourite things about Stiffkey Stores are the staff for one, the treacle flapjack and of course the coffee. These people work hard, they work hard to maintain a business in a rural area, and more importantly, in an industry that is saturated and fragile. It’s an attractive destination for a lot of people. That’s a hard thing to achieve. What do you actually want them to do other than serve you? Fix your car? Do your washing? It’s a store, a very good one I might add.

Called in here today and had two hot chocolates made with real chocolate and two mince pies There drink regular is tiny And you may as well of been drinking dishwater talk about skimp on the main ingredient (chocolate it's in the name ) The mince pies were over priced and stuck to the case on the bottom would have had a nicer taste experience buying the cheapest supermarket box of mince pies and saved myself a few quid and had a better taste experience So folks there you have it overpriced and poor ingredients served here tometoday
