Ground by Bringing the outside in in North Norfolk

Visited Wells-next-the-Sea and had a pit stop here! It was a beautiful sunny day, and we enjoyed coffee and tea sat on their benches. It was busy with a queue, but it went down quickly. Staff were on the ball, and service was prompt and efficient. Good selection of drinks and food options. We only had hot drinks.

Coffee to hot …. which was a shame as expected it to be better with all the hype. Lad serving a tad monosyllabic… they were due to close in 15 mins … perhaps it had been a long day ???

Did what it promised. Definitely had a great sausage roll and great coffee. Cakes looked tempting too. Had to wait a few minutes, but well worth it. Looks like they're trying to be as sustainable as possible too. Which is always great to see.

Cosy coffee shop in the centre of beautiful Wells. The staff were very friendly and the drinks lovely and warming for a cold day. Can recommend the hot chocolate in particular!!

I saw the sign as I wandered past, and thought it confident and brave. The best sausage roll ever tasted by GQ. In a land almost built on sasuage rolls. I had to try one The Pork and Chilli sausage roll is so good, I went back twice. Warm but not hot, and keeps you warm for a few minutes as you wander down the mile straight path to the sea. You can taste the different layers of flavour, it's that good. This sausage roll will give a great start or end to any day The owner by the way, is a lovely lady, all chatty and full of excitable positive energy. It's worth going in just to get her to talk and smile. She's a ray of sunshine I didn't try any other foods, but any time i walk past this place, there are always people in the shop, and it's been here a while. So i'm going to assume it's pretty good

Very busy small coffee shop with plenty of seating outside, service is quick and efficient, enjoy a sausage roll or one of their yummy cakes with your drink.

This coffee shop is part of a small complex which includes a shop. There is plenty of outside seating and the coffee is good. The service was friendly and efficient.

The place is amazing, great coffee, amazing sausage rolls and lovely cake. Nice staff and a nice outdoor seating area. We used this on our first visit to Wells next to the Sea. When we goo back to Wells (soon) we will be eating here again.

Lovely Coffee’s and gorgeous Pork and Chilli sausage roll. Lots of choice, sweet and savoury. Staff friendly and loads of seating and dog friendly too. Recommend to all

My wife and I visited today after a 4 hour drive. All we had was drinks which to be fair were very reasonably priced,but that is were the good stuff ends. The tea was worse than dish water, it looked and tasted as though it hadn't seen a tea bag. The Americano coffee was devoid of coffee. The young lad who served me looked as though he had to be there or they would stop is benefits. Both drinks we bought went under the hedge. Needless to say we shall not be returning.

Really good coffee and cakes - sausage rolls looked amazing, plenty of outdoor seating. Busy coffee house but service brisk and welcoming.

Stopped by for quick coffee. As had 4 legged friend with us chose this establishment as we could sit comfortably and dog had space without being too close to other patrons. Coffee was good

We only had coffee but it was excellent - quite the best latte I have had in a long time! Nice to sit outside in the sun. Dog friendly.

Great coffee ..not quite the best sausage rolls sorry GQ magazine…better value up north try @appletonsbutchers In knaresborough. That said very nice place to pass sometime in wells next the sea.

Spent a great week in Wells, and most days we called here for coffee / hot chocolate, gorgeous tray bakes or Sausage Rolls.

We stopped for a coffee and cake and the coffee was the best I've had in years. Beautiful tree and relaxed garden atmosphere too, absolutely loved the place and will be back!

Popped in for a coffee and bite to eat! Bought 2 sausage rolls ( 1x sage & 1x chilli). Assistant behind the till placed them back in the fridge and warmed 2 sage ones from behind. Explained I had picked 1 of each (and checked labels on each one). Was unbelievably rude and told me I was wrong, then started sarcastically saying they all have labels on for a reason, etc. Shop was busy so not cause a backlog I took the sausage rolls and coffee’s. As I was leaving he continued his comments at me as if I was some sort of idiot. Absolute moron

We visited Ground as it wasn’t too busy and there was tables available.The food there was amazing and they served a range of amazing Brownies Dog Friendly because most the seating is outdoors with is great at this time of year definitely coming again

Nice place to eat snack food outside: best sausage rolls, amazing cinnamon rolls and hit drinks. Counter service with a short wait. Lovely shop selling tasteful homeware next to the cafe.
