Just back from an excellent lunch after a lovely 6 mile walk starting and ending at The Queen Vic. Wonderful hospitality and the food was really good - very generous portions too.

The homemade cakes are sublime - and available to takeaway.

Had a lovely lunchtime meal, food was excellent. Staff very pleasant. Will definitely go again. Very reasonably priced.

Thought we would give this a try instead of Parlour cafe where we would normally eat if we are in Burnham , wish we hadn’t bothered… We asked if they had anything Gluten Free and were told only fruit buns; which we declined.( Tesco is only 2 minutes away so they could buy bread ) I settled for Bacon, Mushrooms and Scrambled egg which I know was safe for me to eat. The bacon was good but I’ve never had Scrambled Egg like it. Not only did it look disgusting, was so dry and fell apart it was cold and had no taste whatsoever. I suppose I wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t give it a go. Back to The Parlour cafe for me.

Looked inviting from the outside so decided to give this establishment a try. Spotless interior , big menu with many tempting options. Our coffee was spot on , just how we like it "proper coffee." Wifey had bacon, brie and cranberry panini which she said was delicious. Myself chicken , bacon and pesto sandwich with granary bread. Thick slices of gorgeous bread with a well packed filling , it was very satisfying. Very good service and highly recommend.

Went on a Friday lunchtime. Very pleasant staff and a very big menu for a small establishment. Decently priced too. Chicken burger good, cheese baguette OK, huge plate of chips. We were there quite early so not sure if service might be affected later on as quite a few people arrived.

We have been to the Rose quite a few times now and love the atmosphere. It is a very welcoming pub and the staff are great. This visit was a cheese and wine night which was amazing with lots of variety and very appetising. Our previous visit had been afternoon tea which was equally as good. I wish we were nearer as we would visit a lot more often.

We all came for a roast dinner today and as always it was superb. It is the best around. The food is always good here and everyone is always so friendly. Can’t fault it.

I take my dog and family. It’s a beautiful spot to enjoy some real food. They try to cover allergies,too. The cooking is spot on and the customer care is great. I understand they can’t take cash for safety, which is understandable these days. Worth a ‘Punt’ 😀

Staff haven't got a clue. Took ages to take order and still got it wrong. I had chicken and my brother had steak pie which he gave up on as pastry was like trying to eat a brick, chips pale as pale can be. Tea and coffee just about OK. Don't waste your money or time.

I went to The Royal Oak to celebrate my birthday with some friends. We had a fantastic evening. The beer was brilliant and the staff were better. All in all I had a fantastic evening. Thank you everyone 👍

Our breakfast was very good! The staff is very friendly and my friends and I enjoyed it very much. Also the food looks very good so we will come back again.

I absolutely adore this venue! It hosts fantastic events and boasts an incredible music scene. The outdoor patio is a favorite of mine, but what really makes this place special is the amazing staff and the delicious food. Since Morgan took over management, everything has become even more organized and delightful. I truly love this place!
