Amazing coffee as usual (very fond of the hazelnut cream). Friendly staff in a cozy environment. Good selection of pastries to have with your drink and they make it as-you-like-it.

You really must visit this lovely coffee shop. The coffee is superb and the staff are friendly & service is excellent. Tom (the owner I think) is generous with his time when talking through coffee options (we purchased a couple of bean varieties on his recommendation). Surroundings are really nice and family friendly (especially upstairs). But it’s also the small things. Being asked if we wanted cold water in our black Americano and being given a knife that actual cuts (rather than hacks) through pastry is a nice touch and sets them apart from the mainstream options.

1st time i have used this place lovely coffee reasonable price so much better than the normal costa/ starbucks rubbish lovely taste

Best coffee that we found in most of our trip around the UK! Beans available to buy, lots of different types of milk, and delicious, rich hot chocolate.

Visited here for a drink , ordered a smoothie (hulk healthy smoothie) got charged for two smoothies when I clearly asked for one and they were only making one . Lady on till was really miserable and not customer friendly , hygiene was so poor after witnessing a staff member using the dust pan and brush on floor then using it on work tops and brushing the coffee machine , absolutely disgusting , the smoothie itself wasn’t blended properly , there was thick lumps of kale , so thick you couldn't actually suck it up the straw, will not be visiting again .

Love this coffee shop, really friendly service. The coffee is always spot on and I live how they you can get so many different types of coffee.

I have visited this lovely coffee shop several times when visiting Maldon and have started ordering their delicious coffee for myself and as gifts for family and friends. It is always well received. Recently, I tried several times to place an online order via their website but encountered an error. Someone got in touch with me personally and we arranged an alternative method of payment so that I could get my coffee. It arrived the next day and I am one very happy customer! The service provided at Maldon Coffee Company is AS GOOD as their coffee, and that is saying something!

Absolute stars ! I ordered my coffee beans to be delivered as I do each month. This month I ordered them early as to receive them before Xmas . They had problems with there courier . So hand delivered it to my door themselves so I didn't go without. Thank you very much you can't ask for more as a customer next level customer service. X

I visited the shop daily as it’s my way of exercise during these difficult times. Today I thought I would skip breakfast at home and try one of there bacon rolls as the bacon always smells great. Great choice lovely and crispy with nice bit of brown sauce gave me the extra bit of momentum along with my coffee to keep going on my 5 mile walk.

Good coffee and cake, but our food was brought to the table by a girl not wearing a mask, which is against Covid rules. Will not go in here again

Very friendly coffee shop that offers a wide range of coffee flavours or snacks. Family owned shop but staff in there are all very friendly and they all know more or less what your going to order without the need to even ask, unless you fancy something different of course.

This place has become our go to coffee stop, best coffee in town. Sausage roll also excellent. All covid compliant and great staff.

Great strong coffee and a friendly vibe. Visited on a dreary saturday morning in February and felt very refreshed! :)

This used to be my watering hole when I worked at St Peter's hospital and cannot recommend this place highly enough. Not only is the coffee top notch, the food is equally great and caters for vegan, vegetarian, and meat eaters alike. The cakes are also out of this world and very generous (I recommend the berry slice).

Fairly recently opened, it has become a great place to visit for coffee and to relax. Very friendly atmosphere, coffee is served with a small! They also served coffee related eats. There is even an upstairs room you can use.

Excellent choice of coffee - beans or ground - helpful advice from warm and friendly family business when seeking something different to try. Drink/sample there or takeaway.

I have been coming to the coffee shop in Maldon and the market stall in Chelmsford since the business started. It is a family run business who provide an excellent, friendly service backed by quality coffee(and Teas amongst other things) with a very flexible attitude to how the customer wants there particular beverage or snacks. I often drive out of my way just so I can enjoy an artisan coffee. A visit is highly recommended.

I was lucky enough to find time following a court case in Chelmsford to visit the penultimate day of a rather splendid exhibition of surreal art in Hayletts Gallery in Maldon. Instead of waiting outside the pub for the 31 bus I took the opportunity of visiting the Maldon Coffee Company’s inviting new premises for a flat white and an all too tempting pot of yoghurt and fresh fruit straight from a refrigerated counter atop the bar. I particularly took advantage of one of the decadent white fluffy chairs which would not have been out of place in the most hipster of Hoxton’s dives.

Great place to grab a coffee before you head off to work. A whole range of different coffee beans too. Milkshakes/ hot chocolate worth a try too!! Even better when you complete your loyalty card so you grab a free coffee too!!! Staff lovely and friendly great place to visit, cheaper than Costa too.

What more can I say! I visit here regularly with a group of ladies after our keep fit class and the coffee is always good(and so is the tea!). It’s good value for money, the staff are great, the place is clean and the atmosphere friendly. I’ve also bought some of their freshly ground coffee to make at home and, as previous reviewers have said, their recommendations are spot on - what a gem!

Just stopped here for a quick coffee - what a lovely little place! Loved the decor and feel of it. The staff were very friendly and helpful (I'd never had a cold coffee before so asked about a few). Great menu with all the usual coffee suspects plus smoothies, juices etc... Had a lovely family-run feel about it.

Passing through Maldon, where we'd never been before, we stopped at the Coffee Company for a flat white each and were hugely impressed by quality, by service and value and by range of coffee related items on sale. Nice to sit out on the street and watch the town pass by, too. If you love coffee and are passing by Maldon, this is the place to go. If you live in or around Maldon, do you know how lucky you are to have this cafe on your high street?

What a fantastic little coffee shop. This has to be the best coffee for miles! There are so many flavours to choose from. The quality of the coffee is superb, In a time of numerous mediocre coffee shops, this little gem really stands out! A great people watching spot and staff are great for a laugh and plenty of banter. Support your local independent.

Friendly atmosphere and do the best cappuccino. Can sit inside or have a few tables outside, but under cover, where you could sit with a dog.

Popped in yesterday for a cheese and ham toastie and a cuppa whilst waiting for my wife. Very nice all round

The service is beyond what anyone would expect, friendly and funny staff, and I have gotten to know them to the point I don't even need to say my order! Definitely the best banana milkshake in Maldon! And their hot chocolate is incredible too!

I heard about Maldon Coffee Company from the Lady running their Friday / Saturday coffee stall on the Chelmsford market.

Couldn’t ask for a better atmosphere! Really bringing back the feel of a family run, chilled out, reasonably priced coffee shop. Would much rather help out a small business than a large chain. Oh and the coffee is better. 5* Will be revisiting ALOT

Went here Christmas Eve morning whilst looking round the town. Its clean and bright, seating upstairs has a good view. Coffee is good and strong
