Tuvimos un gran brunch con otros 40 negocios locales, nada era demasiado problema para Jamie y su equipo. Todo el mundo disfrutó de su comida y deliraron lo bueno que era y pidieron volver de nuevo. La decoración es preciosa y el personal es muy servicial. La ubicación es genial, así como el aparcamiento en el sitio. Gracias.

A really jolly village pub with a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome. Great real ales with guest beer changed on a regular basis. Very tasty, well cooked food served at the weekend. Well worth a visit.

Not much variety but good selection

We have eaten here many times & have never been disappointed. The meals we ordered were good sized portions which were beautifully presented, hot & very tasty…Ham Salad with chips, Jacket Potato with prawns & salad & Scampi & chips. The dining areas were both full & busy giving a lovely vibe on this beautiful hot sunny day. Two of us had desserts… Eton Mess & Raspberry Cheesecake which were both very enjoyable, well presented & yummy! The staff are efficient, friendly & helpful. I would highly recommend eating here for the extensive menu, reasonable prices & great service.

My sister booked here for us to meet as a family, never been for a Sunday carvery here before, but will be going back, the food was lovely, service was good, place isn't packed which is nice as well, I started dinner without taking a photo 🫣 that's why but taken out of beef and few veg gone, had a choice of meats, and 5 veg then roasts & Yorkshire pudding

Visited today for Sunday Roast/Mothering Sunday treat. On arrival, staff were polite, pleasant, and welcoming. We ordered our drinks and were asked if we would like to be seated for our meal. In the process of being seated, one of our party managed to knock her mums glass of wine over the table ! The owner could see this was causing some upset and promptly had the table cleaned and replaced the spilt wine free of charge, along with consoling the guilty party !. The meal arrived in a timely manner, and wow, what a feast, I opted for the large Sunday roast and it was delicious, 3 different meats, roast potatoes, roast carrots, parsnips and 2x Yorkshire puddings came plated, then arrived the veg, broccoli, green beans, mash, cauliflower cheese, and dauphinoise potatoes. The meal was piping hot and served with lovely gravy. By the time the meal was finished I was stuffed. On seeing the puddings being served around me I wished I had left room. 10/ 10 for service quality and welcome. We will deffo return and Thank-You for your kind gesture with the spillage

Not a regular visitor, but have visited on numerous occasions over the years. Food here is always good, and beer selection is not bad either. Plenty of seating, but always book well in advance for food so as not to be disappointed. Some outside seating, which is either near the roadside or near the carpark, not ideal but ok. Great atmosphere inside and good service, highly recommended.

Visité para el almuerzo dominical con mi marido esta semana, y aunque no suelo dejar comentarios, me sentí obligado a darle a The Green Man un pozo - merecía cinco estrellas. Fuimos atendidos por una encantadora señora llamada Celia, que nos dio muy honestamente la mejor experiencia gastronómica que hemos tenido. Ella era increíblemente cálida, servicial y paciente mientras nos hablaba a través de las opciones de asado, ayudándonos en última instancia a elegir la carne asada y el cordero asado — ¡ambos eran absolutamente deliciosos! Recomiendo encarecidamente una visita, ¡volveremos!

We have frequently used this establishment and were very happy with the food service ambience etc,,, but since the original chef has gone and numerous members of staff this has slipped from a 4 star establishment to a 2 star. The web menu is out of date, the menu is very limited, especially if you are vegetarian, food is on a par ok but nothing special, the sweet menu is limited where as before very good. Unfortunately this establishment has slipped with quality service and choices, certainly will not be returning, such a shame as IT WAS EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD A WHILE AGO,,, NOT SO NOW

Visitado por la tarde Té - £ 30 por persona. Esto lamentablemente no vale la pena el precio que me parece caro y por lo tanto espera algo un poco mejor que sándwiches secos. Mala selección de pasteles en el menú dulce, que era principalmente pasteles. Espero que puedan mejorar esto en el futuro, ya que es una buena ubicación.

Been here so many times and never disappointed. Today was a full breakfast, chicken burger and Caesar salad with chicken. All amazing. Staff are all fabulous.

I’ve given up trying with this cafe! I’ve visited about five times - with friends, alone and with children. The coffee is awful! Too bitter and not well made. The biscuits are burnt. The choice of fresh cakes/savouries is very poor. The staff are miserable and don’t seem welcoming at all. I also asked for a tap water to go with my coffee and was told to buy a bottle for £1! The tables are not cleaned thoroughly. It’s such a shame as this could be a regular place for us after school as it’s so close however we just can’t give it any more chances.
