I’ve given up trying with this cafe! I’ve visited about five times - with friends, alone and with children. The coffee is awful! Too bitter and not well made. The biscuits are burnt. The choice of fresh cakes/savouries is very poor. The staff are miserable and don’t seem welcoming at all. I also asked for a tap water to go with my coffee and was told to buy a bottle for £1! The tables are not cleaned thoroughly. It’s such a shame as this could be a regular place for us after school as it’s so close however we just can’t give it any more chances.

Friendly lovely staff who made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. The place is a little find as it is out of the town but close enough to walk in just a few minutes and parking is very close by. The food and drinks were reasonable and great cakes. Well worth a visit if you want a warm welcome and peace and quiet to sit and read or chat with friends.

A really jolly village pub with a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome. Great real ales with guest beer changed on a regular basis. Very tasty, well cooked food served at the weekend. Well worth a visit.

Newton LaneA wonderful lunch! Lovely menu with a wide choice. My husband chose Gammon Egg and Chips and I chose Beef Lasagna and chips. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunches. The beef lasagna was one of the nicest I've eaten. We had no room for dessert but the cake selection did look delicious. It's a shame we don't live closer as this cafe would be a favourite.

Tattershall RoadWe had a wonderful Sunday roast beef and turkey and veg and yolkie and gravy for dessert we had apple crumble and ice cream and custard very nice good service very polite thanks from Tina and Trevor
