Very friendly. Staff are lovely. Dog friendly even brought me some water for my dog. Great prices too

Packed full of spring bedding plants, all nice and healthy, well watered and a huge selection

Nice little garden centre. It may not have a huge selection but it does have plenty of plants, pots and the usual garden centre stuff. The cafe does lovely food and it's pretty local to us so we visit quite regularly.

What a delightful garden centre this place is and was located in a fantastic place for me! Visited on our way home from a crazy weekend in butlins and being passenger in the car I felt very travel sick, think it was a mixture of lack of sleep, a few too many on the all inclusive last night and more than likely having one more extra slice of bacon on the all you can eat brekky this morning! Luckily the public convenience instore was free and I desperately this pit stop! The wife bought a tea in the cafe whereas I managed to stumble to the toilet and back to the car without knocking any of the luscious green bushes over in the garden centre! Next time I visit I'll make sure I've not been on the AI and proper check this place out because believe me pal if your in this area it's a cracking garden centre.....keep up the good work parkers my son 👍

Sep 2024 An early XMAS shopping spree, many delightful and original Christmas trinkets were bought. Very helpful staff, makes a huge difference. The coffee shop (Spires) is still as good as it always was; tea bags used here are top quality (so good, we bought some of our own). Staff here also very friendly and helpful. May 2024 Update: another visit, another Full English, still excellent quality. Also bought some veggie plants (buy 4 for a discount) and grow-bags (Tomorite bag more expensive but bigger than the yellow Levington smaller one, we bought one of each to compare), fingers crossed. Prices are not too bad. Amazing selection of everything you might reasonably expect from a high quality garden centre. Also, the restaurant was excellent too, the Full English was very good.

Pleasant garden centre with plenty of choice, gift ideas and a popular restaurant. Large free car park. There's also a little bit of aviation history to look out for on the way in.

Don’t have Sunday dinner at the cafe. Terrible. No taste at all and costs 11.99 ridiculous for a terrible dinner.

Stopped on the way up north for lunch, restaurant quality food! Very reasonably priced. We had beer battered fish and chips and scampi- homemade tartare sauce was delicious! Will definitely visit again- AND dog friendly! Thank you!

Small but well stocked garden centre. Good selection of outdoor and indoor plants, trees, etc. All looked healthy and in good condition. Inside has garden tools and accessories, wildlife and pet goods and also homeware / gift section including greetings cards. Cafe inside is run by owners of nearby pub, the Finch Hatton. Serves coffees, cakes, sandwiches, breakfasts and a few main meals - at reasonable prices. Plenty of free carparking.

The staff were friendly and helpful with a deep fund of knowledge. The Garden Centre was neat, tidy, well set out, clean organised and a joy to visit. The plants were healthy and well cared for.

Stopped on the way home to pick up some compost , good selection of plants, had lunch the food is top notch and reasonable price, thanks to girls in the restaurant for such good service

I thought the plant prices were generally to high. There were a couple of 3 for which were good value

This is a great little place. The cafe is excellent. Full English is wonderful and their coffee is on point. Service is great. Nice people behind the counter. As a garden centre it has everything you need. Prices are good. All in all I’ll travel the extra distance to bypass other places to get here. Well recommended

Quite low on stock, but probably awaiting deliveries. However, noise/music in particular was very loud from the cafe, so much so that it wont be visited again. A shame as we used to visit the cafe a lot before it had its makeover.

Great cafe with freshly cooked food, we had breakfast with plenty of choice. Quality food with competitive prices. Staff attentive.

On our way home from a dirty weekend at Butlins, stopped off at this garden centre and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Walked around for an hour (an hour wasn’t long enough to truly appreciate the experience) and had a spot of lunch- tuna Mayo in case you were wondering (highly recommend). The customer service was tip top, especially that of Anita (I guessed her name). So sorry again for blocking the toilet :) x

Great garden centre and restaurant

Well we only popped in to have a look as we were driving past, but ended spending around two hours here and left with lighter pockets than when we walked in. The plant prices were reasonable with some good offers on seasonal plants. There's a very good selection available and everything we saw looked healthy and well looked after. We had a stop off at the spire cafe for a hot chocolate and a slice of cake which went down a treat. All of the staff we spoke to were very polite and friendly and the establishment was clean and well maintained. Overall, it's a very lovely garden centre to visit if you're in the area.

Recently popped in with the in-laws and thought it was great. A good range of stock (considering time of year), great little cafe and a HUGE indoor shop. Highly recommend and will definitely return when we are next in the area. 10/10

Been for meal a few times but today went especially for Sunday roast and was not disappointed.Well cooked and very tasty. We often go for Friday fish and chips never had reason for complaint. Would recommend highly

Reasonable selection of items, prices a little higher than nearest competitors, friendly atmosphere, nice coffee shop with a reasonable selection of food.

I was really disappointed and won't be returning. I ordered a soya milk latte to be told that they don't have soya milk. I was offered oat milk, but it turned out it wasn't gluten-free. I am gluten-free and enquired if they had any gluten-free food on the menu. The menu didn't mention gluten-free at all. The answer I was given was that they could make me a sandwich, so no hot food. I thought more effort could be made to offer gluten-free food to the many people who are gluten-free due to health issues.

Well stocked with all your garden requirements. Good selection of healthy ,well grown plants, bushes and fruit tree. Best price and choice on bird tables, after checking at other nearby gardens centres. We actually bought one with a design we'd not seen before. The Cafe welcome us and our dog at an indoor seating area. Most others cafes make you sit outside ,which is not pleasant during cold, windy weather. Sunday roast was was on the menu at £11:99 without starter or pudding,both were available for those with big appetites. We've already planned our next visit.

Excellent all year round but always extra special at Christmas

Smashing little garden centre. Plenty of parking, great selection/variety of plants and equipment. However the cafe service is terrible. Not at all busy, lots and lots of empty tables but took 25 minutes to bring a pot of tea and cold "hot" chocolate. In fairness after complaining about the cold drink another one was offered to be made. It took the length of time for me to drink my pot of tea for it to be made again...... Lady who served us grunted and wasn't very polite. I certainly won't bother visiting the cafe again. Such a disappointment

Super little cafe with nice food before a little stroll around the plants and gifts available. Much enjoyed.

We went quite late in the afternoon but we still managed to get a lovely coffee from the cafe. Warning the cafe closes at 4pm. We moved out of the area about 12 years ago and at that time Anwick garden centre was small but you could get some good bargains. But now we have moved back it has changed very much for the better. It has expanded into a spacious and airy with a great range of products with very competitive prices. We shall be using this place a lot. Glad to be back.

Don’t drive past! Please visit you won’t be disappointed. what an amazing place. The breakfast was to die for, fresh quality produce, probably the best breakfast I’ve had. The staff were all very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us and our 2 dogs.

A very nice, well presented garden centre with coffee shop. Always a great variety of plants and shrubs. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful ...so it's a place I often return to. Highly recommended.

First visit since COVID as felt it had gone 'downhill'. Pleasantly surprised with plants etc and food in cafe was lovely. Great value and great table service. Bought lots of things for garden and also birthday gift for a friend. Very enjoyable visit and will go again soon.

Nice garden centre with a full range, of what looked to be well cared for plants. Shame it took forty minutes to get a simple BLT in the café. 8th June 23. Cafe changed hands improved 100 % 15th Aug. Café much improved, looks to have a good simple menu for food. Spent all my pocket money again.

A really nice garden centre with the Spire Café an excellent choice for either just a coffee or a meal. If you didn't know it was there it is easy to miss it. 20 Church Lane, Anwick, NG34 9SS. On a Friday they have an offer of two fish and chips for £20.00. It is worth getting there just before 12 noon as it is very popular. A really nice piece of fish and excellent chips. The only thing which spoils the experience is the tear open tomato ketchup (I think it would be better to have bottles of ketchup and not those plastic sachets). That said the staff are very happy souls and there is a nice atmosphere. Compliments to the chef and all concerned. Thank you.

My son and I visited the cafe today and it was excellent. I had the full English breakfast and my son had the vegan equivalent. The staff were really friendly, very smartly dressed and the service was superb. The food was freshly cooked to order and to an extremely high standard. The dining area has been recently refurbished and has a great new look about it. The whole area was spotlessly clean. Everything about our visit was fantastic and we are now going to make this a regular thing. Cannot recommend the Anwick Garden Centre cafe highly enough.

The place is a hidden gem. Please be mindful of the road going in, although it's concrete,it belongs to the farmer. The restaurant looks rather nice, but I did not have time and did my shopping and left.

Very disappointed. Big signs clearly stating special offer saying - 9cm perennials £2.50 each , 4 for £8. The one plant I wanted still had an old label with a price stating £4.99. Young man at the till said he had to charge 4.99! My husband queried it, and asked to speak to the msnager. He was told he wasn't available, and he had to charge 4.99. Needless to say we didn't buy it, as a matter of principle . We won't return . Shame.

Lovely garden centre coffee shop. Stopped there recently and the coffee and cakes were excellent. And there was plenty of choice for other foods and refreshments which all looked very good.
