Popped in for a coffee with my wife. We were welcomed and looked after by Lauren and we had a lovely time.

Diane was fabulous and looked after us so very well. The food was amazing as always, delicious and good quality. Thank you all, we love it here as the atmosphere is always just perfect.

A lovely lunch and nice for the children to be able to play in the indoor play area after eating. Diane was very approachable and kind.

Lauren, Becky and Diane were absolutely superb, cannot do enough to help. Food was hot, delicious and great value for money. Have been before and will definitely come again. This was our first breakfast and the eggs were cooked to perfection.

We are regular visitors to the Windmill Farm and have been for many years now. The one thing that makes us come back regularly is the Welcome and Service we ALWAYS get from Dianne. She is an absolute credit to the Windmill. And needs congratulating on her attitude and customer service. The quality and quantity of the food served is excellent.

Lovely breakfast it was fresh and hot. And the greek yoghurt was delicious. Flick is amazing, fabulous customer service, friendly and very accommodating.

Very nice for lunchtime meal although on being directed to table 51 there was eaten chewing gum on table. Lauren very efficiently removed this and apologised. Not much of a selection for light lunchtime bites as we had known previously so had yorkie wrap. Whilst asking for this at till I hadn't seen you could have a tortilla wrap instead of yorkie one, customer service lady should have asked this when ordering, I hadn't actually seen this on menu. Lauren very attentive polite and professional whilst serving us. Thankyou

Went there for dinner with friends to try out after passing through the road multiple times in the past couple of years. The windmill farm restaurant didn't disappoint me. I loved the idea that they used, the location is beautiful, and the ambience was lovely. Food can be ordered at the till or from the table through an app which is convenient for introverted people. The smell of the food will cover you up entirely.

Tried a carvery for the second time and I’m afraid on both occasions the food was cold and stoggy! Sorry I won’t be ordering again

this is the 3rd time in a row I've had barely any roast potatoes ( 3 small ones) the rest is all mash which is so dry. there needs to be an option where we can pick what we want veg wise

We are regular customers and the service and food is always wonderful, today we was served by Lauren who was very attentive! My children are also huge fans of the £1 fidget machines, they save up their £1’s especially for when we come!

I have been having breakfast here for several months but recently I have been in communication with staff Lauren who has been on shift. Lauren has always been polite, helpful and goes that extra mile to be helpful. I think Lauren is a great credit to the establishment and deserve praising.

Quality food friendly helpful staff great ambience

Popped in for lunch and had something other than the carvery for once! Quick service, chips weren’t as hot as we would’ve liked but was still tasty overall and very affordable. Lauren was our waitress, very attentive and smiley and great customer service, thank you :)

I visit once a week for breakfast and the service and food is always to a very high standard. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

We had a nice quiet lunch time carvery on a Thursday. Diane was superb and catered to out every need.

Cold on arrival and half hour late. Plus the man that was delivering made some comment about it being for a Mrs!

Well what can I say what a disappointment cooked breakfast eggs uncooked just a poor breakfast completely gammon and chips gammon uncooked completely terrible to top it of I got a beer that tasted like pipe cleaner never again

Was recommended to come here by work colleague. So glad we came friendly service, great food. I've eaten a lot of apple crumble in my time but this was the best

We was served by a lovely kind gent called Louis and the way he handled my little one's allergies was outstanding, I go to any other place and they have no clue what so ever. So Thankyou so much at least I know one pub I can count on regarding my little one's allergies!!

Great place for a budget meal. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Easy to order food either at the bar or on the app. Food arrived swiftly and a good temperature, though my husband felt his chips were a bit cold. Will definitely be back.

Booked for Christmas dinner. First time we have not had dinner at home. Table was booked for 2.30pm. When we arrived the queue was outside the door, staff running around like crazy trying to get the tables cleaned and reset. We waited for our starters which were very sad looking. Didn't look appetising at all. We queued up for the carvery, wish we hadn't bothered. The beef was really chewy, hard to cut with a knife. Roast potatoes had no colour at all, barely roasted, sprouts full of water when you bit into them, parsnips were burnt, none of it was nice. We were absolutely disgusted. When I was asked if I enjoyed my meal and I said that I wasn't happy, I was told that no-one else had complained. We were asked if we wanted a bottle of prosecco as a good will gesture. What an insult. One of the Managers took my name and phone number and said they would contact me. What a surprise, they haven't bothered.

Front of house staff were incredibly upbeat and polite. The pub was very very busy, ordered via the app which was easy and quick. Unfortunately our kids burger had cheese on it despite the menu not specifying this, we asked a waitress for help getting it changed and she looked incredibly moody and like it was a problem, the correct item was bought out and all other meals were perfect. We were put in a booth despite asking for a high chair so baby had to sit on the end, there was other tables available, someone sat on table next to us and were pretty much back to back with the high chair, therefore we had to keep moving the baby and the other person had to keep moving from their chair let others get past. There was an intermittent loud beeping near the fire exit.

In general we had a nice experience except at the start where we lead to the family dining area but on the online booking form we specified adult dining. I mentioned this to the server and she rectified this issue. The food was very good and the servers helpful..

The first time we got this carvery it was great, full to the brim. This time was awful, no where near as much Fatty meat and very short on gravy.

Absolutely lovely meal. Staff very friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend going there. Lots of food and the puddings were amazing.

Have loved ha ingredients a Sunday carvery here but, on the last few occasions the meal has been spoilt because the veg have been only warm. I did mention this to a staff member and was offered a unrealistic answer, it wasn't just one veg it was all of them, I did ask if the the hot plate was actually switched on. On leaving and chatting to other diners, several had the same experience with only warm food.

Excellent value for money. The carvery is amazing, so much choice and very good quality. Pleasant staff, nice atmosphere and Diane was very attentive. Party of nine. Couldn’t be faulted.

Another great positive visit. The staff member called Felicity (I hope this is her name) was just brilliant with us. Could not sing her praises enough and we mentioned this to the manager on the day. Very bubly and fantastic with the kids, making them an ice cream and we had a laugh as she said as a joke "here you go Grandma ice cream for you and one for mum" and the kids faces were priceless. Kids keep talking about their great new years eve experience at the Windmill farm! Will be back soon as we meet up with family up north and this venue is halfway for us both! Top service again!

Speedy delivery, good quality overall, although beef was chewy and Yorkshire puddings overdone. Cake was moist.

Not what I expected. The food was fantastic, portions we're plentiful. I expected normal bland gastro pub food, whilst this is normal pub food it actually tastes nice. The staff we're attentive, we was going to go for deserts but having a starter and main we couldn't fit it in. We'll definitely be back

We stayed 3 nights over the New year, throughly enjoyed our stay, Staff very friendly especially Felicity who was very helpful & never stopped 😃. Only slight problem we had was with toilet seat that broke in our room ,but then got fixed. Buses ard a bit confusing where to pick up from ,we eventually found the bus stop approx 15 min walk away & takes a good half hour to get into Lincoln. Taxi is approx £10 Would certainly stay again. Happy New Year

Brilliant food, good service but I asked for turkey and beef at the carvery and he only gave me turkey! Other than that it’s an awesome place.

Been quite a lot over the years, great place for a cheap and cheerful carvery. £30 gets you 2 drinks 2 carvery’s and a kids meal with ice cream… can’t go wrong. Staff are really good here. They always try to get you in and will go the extra mile if needed. Thanks Diane from the free drink and the chat. You have been a friendly face for years.

I seem to be easily pleased, had my Christmas dinner here among I think 700 others. An excellent meal (carvery) with family, as the staff made everyone welcome and catered to all our needs. Would I call again, well it's not the first time and doubt it will not be the last. Thankyou

Great carvery and attentive staff. Ate far more than I should have and didn't have room for pudding so took some cake home with me I a box and ate it over a 3 day period. It was huge!

Just a review for Diane and a few other members of staff that unfortunately I didn't take the names of but were equally as helpful and friendly. Diane was very accommodating and kind to myself and my little girls, very friendly and warm. Unfortunately, one of the managers (Jade) was far from as approachable and actually extremely rude. It was however Diane and her colleagues that I wanted to leave a positive review about.

Christmas dinner was sorry to say so so awful. Arrived on time for our table had to wait another half an hour whilst staff turned tables. When we finally got to our table had to chase after the staff to see if our table got the little things promised such as Christmas crackers on the table which my 6 year old was asking about. The food was a dirty salad with some prawns chucked on. The serve yourself carvery which was no different to the usual carvery just a longer wait and £50+ more. It was so hot we got our dessert to go which was another 30 minute wait. The staff tried their hardest and were very nice however I would suggest maybe not trying to cram so many people in. Quality over quantity should win.

We went for the carvery and it was absolutely beautiful, everything was perfect, the staff and the food and the atmosphere was lovely, 100% would recommend! Also amazing value!

The food here is over processed and over priced. I thought I'd order the £13 ultimate chicken platter, it came with 6 tiny greasy wings, 6 cold mini chicken fillets (barely a mouthful each), the smallest portion of greasy cold fries and half a plate of side salad. The staff were nice and friendly, but the food is rubbish. Won't be back.

We had a table for five booked . We were shown to.our table by a pleasant young man . We all chose the carvery ,which was excellent. The meat ( turkey & beef ).was very well cooked and succulent. All the vegetables were hot and nicely cooked . The waitress cleared our table and asked if we had ordered deserts ,which we had . She asked if we were ready for them ,or did we want a few more minutes. We had a lovely meal the service was excellent.

Went for a boxing dinner dinner,family of 8,the food was pretty good but while we were ordering deserts a fight broke out and the staff took no effort in helping the situation,we were in the middle of the room next to another family who had their drinks spilled.In the end the police arrived and we were compensated with free cake.

From the moment we stepped into the place, the atmosphere was lovely. The place was busy but staff were friendly and professional. Food was replenished frequently, with quality and quantity at a high level. We arrived as group of 15 and nothing was a problem for the staff. We were informed that Santa was ready for us to visit. This is great and avoided us queuing with over excited children! Santa was great and engaged with the children with questions and friendliness. Santas helper the elf was so lovely with the kids and parents. Such a lovely experience to have just before the 25th and would highly recommend.

Slimmed down the vegan options was only a burger and chilli, but the chilli was incredible size and Guinness was great, cheap too.

We had our first Christmas dinner out this year. The windmill was brilliant. The table was beautifully decorated, the staff were very helpful and the the food was lovely. Thank you to everyone!

Poor service. Didn't even ask if everything was alright with our meals. No offer to top up our bottomless drinks, or desserts. So we asked for the bill and left.

Great food from carvery but the £6 plate, though was plentiful in the amount allows no room for manoeuvring on the plate, otherwise great. Thankyou to Chelsea who took extra drink orders at the table to save us going to the bar.

Lovely food, a great choice in menu. Lilly was lovely, she made sure we had everything we needed and was really friendly. This wasn't our first time coming and certainly won't be out last. Merry Christmas to you all!

The staff was so friendly and helpful we got a warm greeting from the staff who tuck us to our table they were on hand to answer any questions I had,you had a lovely choice on the menu and drinks when I go back to visit my family I know where I'll be going just like to say thank you very much

Regular customer here, always good food. Friendly service, sometimes a bit too busy and not enough bar staff but definitely worth a visit.

We visited monday night, since then two of us have been violently sick, with more of us feeling unwell. It’s a shame as we all enjoy Windmill but we will no longer be returning. We’ve read another review and seen that other customers have been sick, so it’s clearly not an isolated incident.Stay clear, it’s not worth it

I really hate to have to write this. me and my family have been here many times and you know what you’re getting typical pub food. However we went for a birthday yesterday table of 15 the service was poor and many of us have been sick or felt sick from the food. With regards to the service, One of us didn’t get their starter then when it arrived it was stone cold. We asked for another which was also cold but at this point the mains were here. Then someone else didn’t received their main and we had to chase again for it but by there time it arrived everyone else had finished. the food was bland. After we had finished one of the children was instantly sick , then within 24 hours 5 more of us have been sick and felt unwell since yesterday. extremly disappointed and the hygiene and cooking needs to be investigated.

Great food, great service by Lauren.... but!! Awful customer service by the 2 different workers at the bar, both seemed that they hated their job and dealing with me on both occasions (one of them was management). The chap at the carvery, amazing as always 👌 asking how my day was and engaging! I always come back because it's great!! But the 2 servers at the bar kind of ruined the night for me.
