A really jolly village pub with a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome. Great real ales with guest beer changed on a regular basis. Very tasty, well cooked food served at the weekend. Well worth a visit.

"Proper" pub with such a friendly welcome. Had supper and it was delicious! Home made steak and ale pie and proper homemade chips.. such a delight to see. So few places can be bothered to make chips .. frozen so much easier. Even though we don't live in Welbourne we were made to feel welcome by all the regulars and the landlord Jeremy made time to come and sit and have a chat with us.. again not something you see often Thanks for a lovely evening and lovely pub food. We will be back! 😊

Quite a long drive, on a narrow country lane, from the A15. However, Welbourne is fairly close to the A17, which we took for the return trip to Sleaford. We took an outside table, as we had our two dogs with us, but were told "this is a dog friendly pub, bring them inside". Friendliness, both of staff and local customers, is the key attraction of this cosy little pub. I ordered a pint of San Miguel and a mineral water for my wife. Then, as starters my wife chose breaded mushrooms and I selected the chicken strips, which were accompanied by an excellent chilli sauce, which left my tongue tingling. We then chose the scampi and chips and the steak and ale pie and chips. Whilst the Joiners Arms triple cooked chips are better than most, I still greatly prefer the old style English chips. Heston Blumenthal, you have a lot to answer for! We finished with Jam Roly Poly - not quite as good ad grandma used to make - and the star dish of the day a magnificent Malteser sundae, which tasted just as good as it looked. The meny is fairly limited, which is to be expected in a small village pub if quality is to be maintained. Both prices and quality are good and the pub is well worth a visit, for its atmosphere and friendly service. <

If finding a great pub were an excuse for moving house, we would move. The Joiners Arms is first class. We drank great beer and ate excellent food in a warm and hospitably friendly atmosphere. Despite never having visited before we were made to feel like locals who visited every week. We will certainly go back. Regards Simon

If finding an excellent pub could be a good enough reason to move house, we would be moving to Welbourn. Excellent beer, 1st class Sunday lunch representing the best value we have found for a very long time and topped off with a welcome which made us feel like regulars. What more could anyone want. We will certainly be returning despite the drive from home. Regards Simon

What a gem of a pub! Jeremy & Sally were great hosts , friendly locals ( thank you to the great couple who gave us a lift home in the rain!) and we both enjoyed a superb Sunday roast. A heavy period of rain meant we were “rained-in” for longer than intended, but no hardship with Bass Ale on tap , will definitely return!

This is a traditional pub with rooms, hosted by a very friendly and helpful landlord. When confusion had arisen on one night of our booking, he arranged alternative accommodation at another local b&b. The rooms are small, but perfectly formed and have everything you need. I feel the breakfast offering could be a little stronger, just croissants, toast and cereal - perhaps some cheese, cold meats etc. to make it a more standard continental breakfast. That said, it would not put us off staying - we would definitely come here again. It’s a rare thing nowadays to find a good old fashioned pub with a landlord who knows how to provide excellent customer service. I hope the locals know what an asset they have in Jeremy and The Joiner’s Arms. We very highly recommend this establishment.

I had just completed an 8 mile walk through different Lincolnshire villages. We got to our end goal in Welbourn. We have an hour to wait for our bus so stopped in the Joiners for a drink. The place had such a good atmosphere and feeling. The landlord was very welcoming and the drinks were good value. Even know we only had a quick stop by I highly recommend people pay a visit to the Joiners Arms.

We stayed here for 2 nights in order to visit Lincoln Christmas Market and had a fabulous stay. The pub was warm and cosy, with a big log fire and a very friendly atmosphere. The landlord and his wife were lovely and very welcoming (as was Sid, the pub's dog!) Very helpful with local knowledge about the area and getting into Lincoln and parking for the Christmas Market. Breakfast was perfect for us - a selection of cereals, croissants, toast and fresh fruit, and the evening meal we had there on the Friday night was lovely. Good, home cooked, pub grub, at reasonable prices. There are just 2 letting rooms, upstairs in the pub, and ours was smallish, but ideal for a short stay and the bed was really comfortable. And not at all noisy, considering it is over the bar. We will definitely return to the area, as there is so much more to explore in and around Lincoln, and when we do, we will stay again at the Joiners Arms, as it offers exactly what we love in a B & B.

A wonderful lunch! Lovely menu with a wide choice. My husband chose Gammon Egg and Chips and I chose Beef Lasagna and chips. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunches. The beef lasagna was one of the nicest I've eaten. We had no room for dessert but the cake selection did look delicious. It's a shame we don't live closer as this cafe would be a favourite.

Absolutely phenomenal service from a lovely lady called Flick. I cannot thank her enough for her attentiveness and really going above and beyond for absolutely everything. She remembered us from months ago too which was really nice. She took things to our table for us when she didn't need to, ensured we had everything we needed and also got things for us that weren't even out (cinnamon rolls & Nutella) and took them personally to our table. I really cannot thank her enough. My partner and I will DEFINITELY be returning for the amazing breakfast and even more amazing service from this lovely lady. I even asked what days she works so we can come back on a day shes on! If I could given it 6 stars for both the food and the service, I would!

Busy cafe with tasty looking food. We both had coffees. The cappuccino had rather too much foam for me but it was well made.
