Young lady who greeted and served us was very pleasant. We were 5 adults and three small children and she managed to meet our requests and needs with the same cheerful attitude. The food was good and the kids finished their food without complaint so bonus points for that. 👍

Amazing coffee and they will happily make drinks not on the menu (partner always gets a cortado). A perfect range of delicious snacks. It is the only place in Leicester we go for coffee as all coffee roasted on site and they often change the variety of the house espresso beans so you get to try the different beans you can buy there as well. Super high quality. The new downstairs area is nice and cool on hot days.

Lovely beer, friendly knowledgeable staff, great local watering hole.

Tasted like they used salt in the French toast instead of sugar. Awful.

Increíble té de la tarde para untar, todos los sándwiches recién hechos por encargo. Tortas absolutamente deliciosas y todas hechas en el lugar por el chef. La comida sin duda a la par con lugares que cobran mucho más. No falles.

Spot on place . Staff were great and the food was hot , tasty and good price . Pot of tea was enough to make three teas and was amazing . Loved the lady ( who I believe was the owner ) very bubbly and great customer skills . Also the lovely lady who served us our drinks and bits with the tattoo on her hand . Was all fantastic

Great pub years ago then it was a pub pub now it's just one of those back street cafes

Seems to have changed lately. It was a faff getting a table. The menu was small and kind of unhealthy / fried. Seemed expensive. Toilets were pretty grim which always makes me think about the general hygiene. Will tried somewhere different next time.

We popped in here after I saw a FB post about it. This is a lovely pub and a great landlord who is trying to build a clientele. If you are able to spare some time, pop in and support the pub, take some friends along and add this to your night out. Support our local pubs!

Was with my son on a boiling day who was exhausted and starving, but on a health kick...saw detox shack and popped in...brulliant chap said leave it with me, and rustled up a superb healthy smoothie and Snack. Saved the day!

Experiencia edificante! Una joya escondida en el centro de la ciudad de Leicester, no lejos del centro comercial Highcross y el mercado de Leicester. Comida real preparada en el pedido. Tuve un desayuno tardío de aguacate y queso de cabra sazonado perfectamente. El café está recién molido y llega al punto. Me encantó la sensación retro peculiar acogedora. Gran comienzo de semana.

First visit today and really enjoyed it. Lovely atmosphere mid afternoon on a Friday. Fantastic food, great service. Will be going back soon.
