¡Qué lugar tan agradable! Mi ensaladera era deliciosa y muy generosa. Sentí que todo el mundo estaba realmente contento de vernos a pesar de que no habíamos estado allí durante algún tiempo. Recomendaría seriamente este pequeño café.

Buena comida. Personal muy amable y servicial que siempre te recibe con una sonrisa genuina. Ha estado yendo allí por algunos años y nunca me han decepcionado. Excelente.

Only recently discovered hollys up town great place really friendly and welcome atmosphere

Mi hermana y yo comimos en Hollys, y la comida era absolutamente deliciosa. Ambos disfrutamos de nuestras patatas chaqueta, que fueron cocinadas a la perfección y servido con una variedad de sabrosas cubiertas vegetales. Y para colmo, el chocolate caliente era increíblemente cremoso y tan sabroso, muy recomendable y volveremos. Sin olvidar el cálido personal amable que nos sirve.

Visited for the 1st time day and was very impressed. Good service and lovely food. Highly recommend.

Not as good as i remember!! ..ordered 2 breakfast + toast..not as nice as before..got toast ..then waited 15 mins for fryup ..( should it come together?? ) .

Perfect little spot away from the hustle of the main highstreet if you want a light bite, coffee and cakes or brunch. So light and sunny inside, lots on offer - breakfast stops at 11.30 but hot and cold food available like sandwiches, jacket and salads and the prices are so reasonable! Exceptional and very personal service - lovely interactions with the regulars. Can't believe it took me so long to try. Toilets located upstairs.

Staff and service exceptional. Food excellent. A place to aim for.

Si bien el personal era absolutamente encantador, el servicio fue rápido, y la comida era sabrosa - no creo que la relación calidad-precio estaba allí arriba. Pagué 8 libras. 50 para una ensaladera de pollo y chorizo, que tenía cuatro trozos pequeños de pechuga de pollo, y dos rodajas muy finas y pequeñas de chorizo. Como dije, sabroso pero me decepcionó la cantidad de ‘toppings’. ¡El café con leche de avena helado era encantador!

Lovely little place. Staff were efficient and very polite and friendly. Had a sandwich and coffee and reasonably priced with a colleague. Very impressed with the manners and politeness of the staff.

I've been here a few times for lunch and its a nice cosy cafe. The outside sitting area is great during the summer months. Their sandwiches are really delicious and their range of soups are nice as well.

We both had the full English breakfast and it was plentiful and absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked freshly, promptly and to perfection (in our opinion) and there was a wide choice of items to vary the plate. The staff were very pleasant and attentive, and this added to the very relaxed feel to the cafe. Importantly, for us as we had an early appointment to make, the cafe was open from 8am and the service was very prompt. Well done and thank you.

Stumbled upon this little gem. Greeted warmly by a lady called Karen, but all of the staff were friendly and warm. The full English was Delicious, Fresh, quality produce well made. The best I've had in a few years. Topped off with a very tasty Chai Latte. Overall experience very pleasant. Definitely see you again soon ladies.

A great place owned and run by a lovely couple. You will not be disappointed by the quality of the food & attentive service. New owners taken over but very personable. You may be disappointed to find the crayfish tails are off the menu.

We had visited here once before and had a good experience, so decided to have lunch here again just before Christmas. It was a very cold day and it was cold inside too. There was a small heater upstairs, but it was only enough to warm one table at the far end of the room. In hindsight we should have moved on. My husband had a Christmas themed sandwich with turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce, but it turned out to be mostly stuffing. I ordered a jacket potato to find I had a very small potato (barely the length of my little finger) and barely any salad (see pic). A most disappointing meal. I can’t see us returning.

Friendly service in this little cafe, with great food. My husband had a jacket potato with a nice side salad garnish, and I had a delicious beef sandwich, from their specials board. Fresh crusty bread, not mean with filling, and very tasty.

Stopped when passing by as the blackboard outside caught my eye. Interesting sandwich fillings on proper bread at a good price.

Staff are always friendly & welcoming & service is generally good. A lot of the staff have long hair which is always loose & has the potential for dangling or shedding into food which is a personnal dislike of mine. Toasties have gone down hill. They are barely toasted, often luke warm & cheese not even slightly melted in them. I have stopped ordering these & go for sandwiches or rolls which are fine.

First time eating here and wow, what a lovely place for a spot of lunch. Very friendly service and tasty, reasonably priced food too. Hubby had the club sandwich and I had a prawn and avacado jacket potato - delicious! Definitely somewhere we’d eat again when in town.

Fantastic selection of sandwiches and great range, I had a beef, stilton and camerelised onion on granary, my partner had smoked salmon and lemon crème franchise. Lovely coffee as well, and great selection of sweet treats for after. Wanted to come here for a while and would certainly go back again. Lovely seating area outside and great service!

I only had coffee and delicious cake on my way to a work meeting, but it was perfect. I see why they are the best in Leicester, it's a friendly atmosphere, with exceptional service and one member of staff noticed immediately I was looking for water, it was there for me in seconds.

Outstanding food and service. I ordered the Mexican chicken wrap and my work colleague ordered the halloumi sandwich. Everything was fresh and tasty. The place is clean and spotless too. The staff are super Friendly and accommodating. My second time here and no doubt I’ll keep visiting anytime in in the city.

Food was absolutely delicious, I had the hallomi, falafel and avocado wrap and it was beautiful. Always a relaxed atmosphere and love sitting outside. Staff are always so pleasant and accommodating.

One of the best breakfasts in Leicester. They don't skimp on produce, always good quality. I love the scrambled or poached eggs on proper thick cut bread. It's recently changed ownership but for me it's exactly as it was before. Perfect!

Such a lovely warm welcome by the staff. Excellent bacon roll & proper cup of tea, all such great value for money. We will certainly be back!

Holly's isn't the largest place to eat. However, we are always made very wellcome staff are obviously encouraged to SPEAK to customers! Tradional charm. We always enjoy their cakes yummie!

Today we were there with my 3 friends. Although it was busy, the service was very fast, they were so friendly and welcoming. Also, they took extra mile for my order which I really appreciate and everybody loved their foods. We will definitely be back soon. Thanks a lot

Food is excellent, been using this cafe for a number of years, however not sure if it’s changed ownership or just some staff changes but it is no where near as efficient in service as it was. There was hardly ever a wait beyond 10 minutes for food, regardless of how busy, now it’s common to be waiting 20+ minutes!

The best café I have found in Leicester. Small, independent café, excellent décor, with seating available on two floors and outside in summer weather. Food was exceptional quality and a good choice of light snacks served. Complimented by lovely staff, very friendly, nothing too much trouble and prompt service. Excellent location, just a few minutes away from Richard III Visitor Centre, cathedral and a short walk from the Highcross. Highly recommend.

I regularly take my father here for lunch the foods always enjoyable and all the staff are friendly.

Always great tasty sandwiches here and the staff are so lovely and friendly. Toilets are upstairs so just be aware and can be a queue during busy times but it really is worth it.

I've been here a few times and thought it was now time to give a review. Each time I have had the smoke salmon wrap with creme fraiche. I am always happy that they do not skimp on the smoked salmon, which is not cheap, and all the salad is fresh and crispy. The prices are really reasonable and their cakes are also quite tasty. Sitting on the tables and chairs outside on a warm spring or summer day is most pleasant indeed. I will definitely be a regular here when I am in Leicester.

Had lunch here and was pleased with everything. Lovely sandwiches and friendly efficient service. Last time I was here I moaned about the decoration upstairs; it has been redecorated and now looks lovely.

Rude! I called to ask if they had any food that cost £1 and the guy I spoke with said no and hang up the phone without letting me explain further. I guess this place is only kind to people who already bought something, otherwise they're rude. The reason I asked was because of a project so it could have been a good chance for this place to be advertised on YouTube.

Called in for a breakfast as staying nearby. Varied menu, lovely staff, prompt service. Everything was special, hot porridge, home made looking bread for toast. Not at all expensive. Highly recommended and will certainly return.

A busy little café and staff very friendly and helpful. The few times I've been there it has always been busy upstairs which, from my point of view, I didn't feel comfortable about as I felt everyone was on top of each other. Opted to sit downstairs instead where there was plenty of room and I felt much more comfortable ☺
