The Cheesecake Shop in Leicester

Ordered the tiramisu via ubereats as really been wanting one for ages. Very disappointed purchase especially as I could only order either 1/2 or the whole cake. The tiramisu was nothing like you would expect it was more like a vanilla cake and very dry, with a layer of chocolate.Not the moist or anything like a tiramisu, very cake like at all. Waste of money and food. Avoid if you are after an actual tiramisu and not some very expensive vanilla cake with a layer of chocolate. Very disappointed wish I had ordered something completely different.

Server was smoking outside when we arrived - which put me off. She put out her cigarette and came inside to serve us. We were told we couldn’t order 1 slice of cheesecake and coffee each - we wanted to try some of the different flavours. Instead we had to buy a prepackaged quarter of cheesecake and share it. Not sure if this is standard procedure or she just couldn’t be bothered! Expensive and average cheesecake. Won’t be returning.

The cakes are nice but what put me off was the experience. After endlessly trying to contact the store at Belgrade, Leicester yesterday to place an order, i ordered online to be collected 1hr later at the same store. The team there were barely answering the phone and when they finally did they tried to make me wait another hour. When i went there to collect the cake, the man who i spoke to over the phone tried to charge me for the cake again even though i ordered paid online. I wasn't happy with the customer service delivered there as it seemed like they didn't want to be there which was quite off putting.

Really good service and friendly too. I wanted something a bit out of the ordinary and it was no problem at all. And the cheesecake tasted divine. Highly recommend.

Ordered a great power rangers cake, the owner provided great customer service and catered to my needs. It was a tough choice between the green ranger or the red ranger, so we went with both! I would recommend, even stayed for some coffee!

I have visited the cheese cake shop a couple of times now. Love the cakes and the staff are always friendly and polite. Always make you feel welcome the few times I’ve nipped in. Always good customer service too. Would definitely recommend this place!!

Last week I purchased a mango and passion cake for my mother’s birthday and the family loved it! Great service on the phone and in store on collection - I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for tasty cakes at reasonable prices.

Cakes might be nice but the customer service was so poor, I’d never want to go back here ever again. My cousin had placed an order for her daughters bridal shower cake and asked me to pick it up. When I got there, the man with a nose stud asked if it was my bridal shower, then said ‘obviously it can’t be yours’ confused I asked what he’d meant by that comment. He’d assumed I was pregnant! I couldn’t believe my ears (I’m definitely not pregnant!)... he carried on digging a hole for himself by saying his wife is pregnant and she’s really big!! I just wanted him to stop talking as he was clearly making things worse. He didn’t apologise, instead he said ‘I’ve embarrassed myself’ well No actually! I was the one that was embarrassed the most! He should never have commented on a customer like that, and when he did he should’ve apologised profusely instead of trying to justify his comment. Also, I’m NOT pregnant, but even if I was.. to assume it obviously can’t be my wedding because I’m pregnant, is the most stupid thing ever! This is the 21st century, people can get pregnant and then get married! I don’t know if he was the owner or a member of staff, either way he needs to be trained on customer skills and maybe stop living under a rock!

We recently ordered cheese cakes from here we had a strawberry cheesecake and passion fruit cheesecake too and They were finger licking good couldn’t enough of it we also had a custom made 40th birthday cake made too and wow that sponge in the middle was super soft just melted in my mouth defo getting the next cake from here.... thanks cheesecake shop see you again very soon... When continental cheesecake is this yummy you should be worried about your wallet and your waistline. And that is before you try the other desserts like cake. BE VERY AFRAID

Must say they are such brilliant help and know there stuff very well! We brought a cake from here few months ago for my father in laws birthday and it was put of this world! Keep up the good work

When I say these cakes are delicious they're more than delicious these cakes and cheesecakes are out of this world been going here a few months now. we've had a fair few amounts of birthday cakes and then we've been in for the sly slices of cheese cake etc lol best place to get your cakes for any occasion. What's a plus is they can make you a custom cake.no Place like it the staff are awesome extremely friendly treat you like family if you've not already been GO now don't wait you have two shops you can visit both with mouth watering cakes and cheesecakes.Shop locations; Melton Road Leicester and South Wigston

I highly recommend the cheesecake shop for their amazing birthday cakes! I have had a few different ones for my kids and always turn out fantastic. Their cheesecakes are so yummy too. The customer service, communication and support are all 5 stars! Oh and the prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be getting all my cakes from here from now on :D

My husband went to the cheesecake shop as we left my sons cake to the last minute.Dhillon was very easy to talk to and helped customised a cake for my sons 3rd birthday without any problems. We were so amazed and happy with the cake, my son couldn't stop smiling. Thank you to all the staff members, keep up the good work and service.

I went to the cheesecake shop on the off chance they done birthday cakes as I had my left sons birthday cake to the last moment. My experience after that was probably one of the best and easiest I've had ordering a cake! The staff member was very easy to talk to abs helped me customise a cake that they were able to prepare for me, decorated within 3 hours! Minimal fuss and the cake looked brilliant and tasted as good as if not better than some of the more known cake shops in Leicester. Cheesecake shop, you now have a loyal customer in me. Keep up the good work and service

Amazing cheesecakes and party cakes! The Cheesecake Shop in Melton Road very kindly donated cakes for a Charity Cycle Ride in aid of Alex's Wish, they were absolutely delicious! I also bought a cake for my son's birthday - it was the best cake he's ever had! Thank you.

I went with my kid to have something sweet and we really enjoyed it! I had the Mango cheesecake and he had the strawberry, would totally recommend both. The staff were very friendly aswell

The shop is conveniently located. The staff are very friendly and very very knowledgeable about their products. They have a huge range of cheese cakes and sponge cakes. Many of their sponge cakes are eggless. I can’t really recommend just one cake as they are all yummy. The coffee there is also excellent.

This is an awesome place to go to catch up with friends and family. The cheesecake menu has something for everyone. My personal favourite is the Jamaican followed by the Mango and Passionfruit cheesecake. You get huge portion sizes for a reletively low price. Packaged and prepped beautifully. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely cakes and service as sweet!! Highly recommend but be warned of the huge choice!!! ;) definately will be back for more of the Mango and Passion Cheese Cake!
