The bread is stunning and the cakes are gorgeous. We always get a small plait wrap, rolls and a loaf. I can recommend the lunchtime rolls & they do a lunch box for children. So in summer holidays, treat the kids to a sandwich, shaped iced biscuit (the butterflies look nice). I can highly recommend this bakery

A lovely welcoming family run cafe, hidden away in Hope Village. The service was good and the food was excellent, there is a slight wait for the food but that is because it is all freshly prepared and cooked. Had an awesome ham & cheese toastie, it was the best one I've ever had. It was served with a large fresh crispy salad, the key word being fresh!! Well worth a visit

This Easter Sunday 20-4-25 we walked into Shepleys and asked if could purchase the last piece of Raspberry Bakewell (As it it looked lonely)...The answer from gentleman was yes!...upon paying for this price of isolated cake....I was then informed someone else outside had ordered a piece of the same cake, to my astonished gaze the young lady cut the lonely piece in half and asked which half I wanted..."Well, all of it I replied"...but greed and business acumin took over and I was left with half of the very lonely morsel. This was not a loss of a vital organ, but the emotional damage cut deep. On a day of celebration my heart sunk and my wallet was dented...£4.20 for half lonely cake 🎂....This is my story of Shepleys....be warned cake is cake and make sure you get piece.

Came bang on last orders 2:29pm and was rudely told they weren’t serving. When we pointed out it wasn’t 2:30 yet, one staff member said they could do some cold food but then the other staff member decided we weren’t allowed anything. This particular staff member was incredibly rude and we definitely won’t be returning.

A lovely 'living room' feel created, and the promise of 'food nights' sounds good

Well worth a visit! Lovely food and dog friendly. The cafe was also warm, comfortable and pleasant to be in, and the service was also great. Couldn’t fault it. Will be back soon.

Sadly, this lovely little store and coffee shop has re-located to Glossop. I'm sure it will be missed.

Had a late lunch here today ,the pub wasn’t too busy when we arrived but had a lovely ambience. I had intended to have a roast dinner but couldn’t resist the Weeping Tiger. The food was excellent and the staff were lovely, I will be back soon for the larp.
