A little gem hidden in the moors. Lovely welcome, good atmosphere, regular food vans, and if lived closer, would be a regular.

What a lovely cosy place for a pint! Staff & owners are friendly, beer is kept beautifully & a good selection of spirits available and of course, the views over the valley are spectacular.

Hunters inn set between Glossop and Marple, on Marple rd a small but friendly pub ..? Doesn't do food but sometimes has a food van that parks up on the pub car park, in all it is a nice friendly pub.

A great free house, with great hand pulled bitter, and to my delight, Timothy Taylor's landlord,it was,spot on.The pub itself, is clean and comfortable, with friendly staff,and the out side space,has great seating,and Fabulous views.

Local just kept alive by community based people. Great

Very cold atmosphere, no interaction with bar staff. This pub has always been click click click which is it's downfall. Won't be going again. The landlord owner has no people skills whatsoever.

Beautiful and friendly little pub. Very much a community hub.

The staff here are so accommodating and friendly. We use this as a meeting place for our Duke of Edinburgh expedition and they were so helpful to our students and parents. They treat you like one of the family! There's great views from the front and a good selection of beers.

Newly renovated, modern pub with a small-but-good ale selection. Interesting spirit selection including flavoured gins. Pleasant outdoor seating with marvellous views and a dedicated parking area.

Love The Hunters it's so chilled and people are so nice and welcoming. I recommend it so give it a try if you like chilled places. P.S. the wine, beer etc is first class and they have pop up food once a month so hey guys g8ve or a try O and also d9g friendly 😁

Nice small friendly pub. We went for the quiz on the last Thursday of the month which was great fun and for charity too.

Lovely little pub on the Glossop to Marple road ! Under relatively new ownership and they have transformed the place into a very cosy hostelry ! We visited on the Greek night and the food was very good ! However a little more attention to detail would improve the experience greatly...not a great fan of plastic cutlery and bog standard takeaway boxes ! With this new trend of street food some of the operators turn up in a trendy looking truck and serve the food from there....perhaps a sound investment for the Greeks rather than a gazebo ! Having said all that we would definitely return for a similar night and use the pub on a regular basis for a relaxing drink !

Really lovely place and people.

The most unwelcoming pub it has ever been my misfortune to visit. Completely empty, very cold. Fire not lit despite being a very snowy day. Barman more interested in his phone than engaging with us. Avoid it like the plague!

Great Bar staff, good music, homely atmosphere, dart board, wood burning fire when cold, great countryside views. I rate 8/8.
