The Hunters Inn in High Peak

Great place for a cosy drink especially after a walk in the local area, no food but they have regular food nights which are amazing, well worth trying

The staff here are so accommodating and friendly. We use this as a meeting place for our Duke of Edinburgh expedition and they were so helpful to our students and parents. They treat you like one of the family! There's great views from the front and a good selection of beers.

Lovely little pub on the Glossop to Marple road ! Under relatively new ownership and they have transformed the place into a very cosy hostelry ! We visited on the Greek night and the food was very good ! However a little more attention to detail would improve the experience greatly...not a great fan of plastic cutlery and bog standard takeaway boxes ! With this new trend of street food some of the operators turn up in a trendy looking truck and serve the food from there....perhaps a sound investment for the Greeks rather than a gazebo ! Having said all that we would definitely return for a similar night and use the pub on a regular basis for a relaxing drink !
