Excellent food and service. I found it very noisy but it was Friday night.

For a small shop the two girls work hard and even tho they are always busy your order never takes too long. They are polite and the cakes are nice too. It's all very well priced. There is also parking right outside to which is always a bonus

It's a pub that serves alchol, could do with a bit of tlc, but nice atmosphere

We called in at the gleaners inn today for something to eat. The food was excellent! definately value for money with plenty of choice. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We will definately dining there again. I would recommend eating there to anyone.

Un gran lugar para sentarse y relajarse. El personal es muy amable, el café y la comida es lo que cabría esperar de una Costa. Mi único bicho, especialmente durante los momentos de mayor actividad, es el número de personas que se sientan durante horas, generalmente con una botella de agua o un café, mientras toman mesas mientras realizan su negocio y hacen y reciben llamadas en sus computadoras portátiles. El personal debe limitar el tiempo que permite a estas personas. ¿Seguramente debe afectar su volumen de negocios?

A great pub with very helpful staff. I didn’t eat there on the occasion that I visited, but would like to go back and do so.

Yet another good pub going in favour of housing.

Have been to this cafe a few times before for breakfast with usually favourable results. So ,thought we would give it a try for Sunday lunch. Sadly we won’t be returning anytime soon. Although you do get a very generous amount of food, it was very disappointing - the veg was massively overcooked and wilted and the meat was very dry ( pork and chicken, 3rd choice was unavailable), couldn’t cut the Yorkshire pudding ,it was so hard. Also all of it could have been hotter. Staff were always pleasant and attentive. Quaysides previous 5* reputation will soon begin to slide unless things improve.

It had an unwelcoming atmosphere as all tables were reserved and the barman/ manager was preoccupied with his own friends.

This is what pubs used to be. Good beer, well kept, and a landlady who has stamped her personality on the pub, and who knows that many people like a drink and maybe a meal in a proper bar with no kids in it. If you think a bar is a suitable environment for your children, this is not the pub for you. If you like a proper country pub with a landlady who gives you a genuine personal welcome rather than a chain pub with a manager and staff trained to greet you following a script, this is the place for you.

Brilliant atmosphere !! People talking to each other even if they didn't know them before. Great night with good beer xx

We Had Sunday lunch, beef rib on the bone & turkey both of which was lovely & tender, Yorkshire puddings were very nice, the sausage in pigs in blankets very tasty, the service was excellent we were looked after by Alex & Tash who were very helpful & pleasant
