Lovely pub. The best Sunday roasts on the planet, with the nicest staff. The seafood is out of this world too, imported fresh from Cornwall.

The Woodlark is a pud/restaurant with the best food ...really friendly staff and a great atmosphere. The service was superb and the menu was extensive including plenty of seafood --- The food was absolutely amazing and was certainly the best yet. The mussel dish was to die for -- others had the fish and chips while my wife has the sea bass All the family were full of praise for the food and the atmosphere Definitely going again

Fabulous meal, scallops to start: tender and juicy, well presented with some salad. Halibut with prawns for main, served with little potatoes flavoured with a Thai dressing and vegetables . Absolutely delicious . The Thai dressing was really good with just enough bite but not too much to overwhelm the fish. Sticky toffee pudding made with real dates and cream for dessert. Great. My companion who is gluten free had the halibut but with new potatoes again with the Thai dressing. Done especially for her. She had fruit crumble for dessert again done specifically for her gluten free diet. As it was her birthday, they put a candle in the dessert and sang happy birthday. Brilliant. Made the evening even more memorable. The staff were attentive without being over so. Cannot speak highly enough about this pub.

Had the monk fish starter and smoked haddock for main. Both absolutely amazing.

This place is great for a casual night out! The menu's change on a regular basis & fish is a speciality! Friendly staff suggest booking is essential for certain occasions.

Very pretty Pub with a nice atmosphere. Proper old school Pub on one side and nice food on the other with a classy outdoor area. Good selection of Ales and the young Lady who served me was very kind and had banter with locals. Fairly priced pints. Yet to go to one of their beer festivals that I’ve heard lots about

Absolutely amazing! We had the seafood platter for two and it was huge and was cooked beautifully as were the desserts and starters. The staff were lovely even after moving into the bar it was a really nice, chilled atmosphere. The staff were so friendly!!

Fantastic pub with a great vibe and history.

We went on a friend’s recommendation and how right they were. The welcome was warm, the food excellent and the value very good. We stayed with the fish options, both for our starters and main courses and the choices of calamari, prawns and interesting fish dishes were tasty, fresh, and generously portioned. The pub itself has not been ‘gentrified’ and still has a proper bar and the one, smallish dining room. You can however eat outside on the terrace. A great atmosphere and it reminded us of ‘proper pubs’ from earlier years. Booking is essential, especially on a weekend.

From the moment of our arrival, staff were warm, welcoming and clearly very knowledgeable about the variety of food and drink on offer. Our meals were served promptly usually fresh, high quality ingredients. The finest Sunday lunches we have eaten out, as good as the best home cooked meals. We can't wait to return.

I would highly recommend if you like seafood, fab service and very reasonably priced. We've not found anywhere else in the Nottingham area that caters for seafood lovers so well without breaking the bank. Great atmosphere, busy mid-week as well which is great to see. A good selection of other dishes are also available for non-seafoodies. This is now my go to place.

It’s okay. A tad expensive for what you get and as seems to be the case with all establishments in the uk , even if the plate is photographed as including bread, no bread comes. As the bread was fundamental to the plate being served it lost 2 stars. Note the bread was not even available at extra charge. Service is good and beer and beer tasted as it should. No parking and not suitable for those in a mobility or wheelchair.

A very busy little restaurant with a good atmosphere, the food was amazing, i had grilled sardines then halibut with pasta, all four of us loved what we had, thanks.

Stumbled on this place whilst out walking in the area. Lovely little pub, great outdoors seating areas and very friendly people to chat with too.

The Woodlark is always amazing. We automatically book a table whenever we have friends or family visit. Everyone we bring loves it. Great food with relaxed local pub atmosphere and service.

Lovely place, lovely staff, very attentive but in the right way. Wonderful food, the menu concentrates pn different fish dishes, all amazing! I had thd dressed crab very good value for money and mum had the cod steak and mushroom in white sauce. Both amazing!! They also have a specials menu, we ordered from this.

Enjoyed chicken roast and beef & belly pork roast. Good value for money. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Highly recommend.

Stopped off for a pint and some food after a walk, I’d just missed the dinner service but when I mentioned I was just after some chips, despite them clearly being busy, they told me they could do that for me. Really friendly staff and some of the best chips I’ve ever had. Would definitely be back for more food in the future, will be booking ahead too.

A group of us went for a lovely walk around Lambley and Lowdham then finished at Woodlark Inn. We all had a great experience, food was awesome, staff were friendly and very helpful. Overall a fantastic day out, so nice to be in a place that don't rush you to get out. Would definitely recommend and return again soon.

Brilliant country pub fir a outsider to go in and to be made feel welcome by everyone is brilliant and they have the best selection of dogs you will ever see to name a couple our Billy and Charlie and not forgetting the big golden retriever

Cosy little place specialising in sea food, but other dishes including vegan & vegetarian available. I had the cod fillet with new potatoes & greens, my spouse had the Thai fish curry, while our friends chose the vegetarian fajitas. All the dishes were of good quality ingredients, cooked beautifully & very tasty 😋.

Loved this place. Loved the service from the staff, and the food was amazing. I have the Portuguese seafood dish, and it's the best I have ever tasted 😋 I will be going there again for definite. Me and my friend was very impressed. The only downside was parking, but I would put up work that for the whole package you get at this place, which was great.

The restaurant area is quite small, and is very popular, so booking is a 'must'. The staff are warm and welcoming and the tables a reasonable size. There is a standard menu, with specials on 3 chalk boards around the room. There is plenty of choice, but fish and sea food are their forte. Everything that we ate was piping hot, plentiful, and served promptly. The portions are a good size. Their is a decent selection of wine and gins, as well as a well-stocked bar. They have a 'proper' coffee machine too. I very highly recommend The Wood Lark.

I ordered moules marianire it should have been cooked with chopped shallots and garlic with a decent white wine but the meal which was served to me had large rings of onions samphire and I think curry leaves and the taste was far removed from the regular taste

Visited this place, many times, and never left unhappy. The food is cooked beautifully all fresh and a good range of seafood. We have the lobster today and OMG amazing. Highly recommended.

What a great meal of fish and shellfish in a very cosy village pub. Excellently cooked with friendly, welcoming staff. The microbrewery is no longer there, but they do have a superb range of beers on offer. First time there but we will definitely be going back.

We were served in the restaurant by Sian and Kaycie - both very friendly and welcoming. Loved the specials board with many seafood treats - we had mussels prawns scallops and lobster all fantastic - fresh and delicious. First visit but we will be back

If your vegeterian just not worth it.(£15 for half a falafel sandwich, posh salad and a small portion of chips)The service is fantastic all the fish/steak dishes looked top notch.Very nice pub,very clean and great beer selection,I will definitely go again but I won't bother with the veggie option.

WOW!!! My visit toady at The Woodlark in Lambley was second to none. I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food. I had the muscles as a starter which were delicious followed by the steak which was cooked to perfection with the homemade peppercorn sauce. After two amazing plates of food I couldn't resist the lemon cheesecake . Home made again and a welcome finish to an outstanding experience. Thank you so much.

My wife and I visited this after it appeared in my facebook feed normally we take Facebook with a pinch of salt! We are so pleased we visited this restaurant as the food was absolutely delicious, normally we find menus with a handful of choices that appeal but with this restaurant we will have to visit several times to work our way through the menu as everything appealed. Staff were amazing and even though it was very busy made us feel very welcomed. We’ll be back several times looking forward to the platter and a Sunday roast.

My wife & myself wanted to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary with a group of our closest family & friends - 30 plus in total. We wanted somewhere that had a fantastic reputation for its food, excellent choice of beers & wine and overall welcoming ambience. Look no further than the Woodlarke Inn @ Lambley, Elaine & Pete the hosts of the establishment provide this in abundance. From start to finish in regard to formalising the arrangements the whole process was stressless, Elaine & Pete totally understood & met with our requirements, nothing being too much trouble, the entire restaurant was give to our celebration for the evening alongside a menu & beverages to compliment the occasion. The Food - 3 x sitdown courses all of which had options for our guests to select including those with special dietary requirements, was of an exceptional standard & delivered to the tables so efficiently. Every single guest complimented us on what had been provided - praise indeed for Elaine & her Chef's. Just as importantly a special mention should also go to the young ladies who waited on the party, polite, efficient & unobtrusive, serving the food & making sure everyone was looked after, even taking orders for drinks from the bar. We must not forget to mention the excellent service given by Pete & his team who manned the bar. All in all we had a truly wonderful evening for a very special occasion due to Elaine, Pete & their "entire" team at the Woodlarke Inn Lambley - Great Job Guys & Girls & thank-you xx

I have allergies to onion garlic and apples and such have never been tempted to try Tapas but a quick conversation with Elaine (Chef and owner) and most of the dishes were adapted with the sauces in separate dishes for the rest of my party to enjoy. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the musical accompaniment made for a lovely end to our holiday ( we came straight from the airport before going home) - Thank you Elaine & team much appreciated

Food is always superb here, whether eating in the restaurant or in the comfortable covered outdoor seating area. Seafood is a must and never fails to disappoint. Also there is always a good selection of draught beers available in the bar - usually local brewers - and the staff always friendly. A definite 5 stars !

We live in Lambley and we are super lucky to have this pub on our doorstep. We came for Sunday lunch, the service was great and the food was amazing. I’m not vegetarian but they have vege options. Such a gem. Would recommend.

Great sea food as it always is, very good service and pleasant surroundings, what more could you want.

We went in just in case there was a table 5.20pm,they were so quick to adapt. What a seafood menu within 15 minutes we had 2 GF Haddock chips mushy peas & 1 on our table! Beautifully cooked piping hot and the Staff the setting 5* all round. The Radcliffe people ought to go and learn how to present excellent food.
