The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Amber Valley East Midlands

I visited the cafe today and was thoroughly impressed. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. There’s a really relaxed atmosphere and a strong community feel, with many of the patrons seeming to know the staff well. It is also dog friendly which is a bonus. I opted for The Mega “Patten Platter” Breakfast, which is excellent value for money, offering generous portions, a hot drink, and free refills - a rare find these days. Overall, a great experience, and I would highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. I’ll definitely be back!

My mother got me a 40th birthday cake made for a surprise for my 40th I can honestly say it was the best looking and nicest cake I have ever had it was stunning thankyou so much.

Called in yesterday for coffee and cake. I remembered the lady from being there last time. She was busy prepping for a birthday party but squeezed us in. The level of service she provides is off the scale, the best for miles around! She is SO lovely and friendly, and made everyone feel so welcome. I don't come to Alfreton that often, but would always have at least a coffee. She reminded me not to bother with anywhere else, when the Pottery is just the best.

Been many times before lockdown and so so glad to see it open again. It’s the best place for a home cooked breakfast, it’s pristine, service is fantastic. They also do homemade cakes, tried the cornflake tart just lovely. I can’t fault it 👌

The breakfast was excellent and the coffee was great. Staff really nice and patient even with difficult customers. Highly recommended.

The glorious smells from this cafe promised a treat after a tour of the shops in the mill. We were not disappointed. The owner is lovely and makes her own soups, savouries, mains and cakes. Hearty portions of excellent food and lots of tea! I'm looking forward to making a booking for the monthly Sunday lunch.

What can I say, five star doesn't seem enough for the service and food we received today, my self and partner had the Sunday dinner which was absolutely delicious, the meat was so tender and roasted vegetables were amazing and tasted so good, the creamy mash and fluffy roast potatoes were just perfect, the creamy leeks were to die for , we also had cauliflower cheese and mangetout and green beans, they were so yummy, the Yorkshire Pudding was perfect and filled with beef and stuffing 😋 and to finish it all off with homemade gravy, our dinner was just perfect and we will be back and recommending to all of our family.

We didn’t eat on this visit, hence no stars for eating, but the owner was very welcoming. We will be back

Always liked this place Today it was suffering post Xmas blues My drink came not as ordered.. replacement after words exchanged Replacement went back.. vile taste Mains came out.... extremely meagre portions.... my beef only tasted of heavy salt... bit of colour could be added Prices on line different to restaurant Staff made us feel uncomfortable

Me and my friend was asked to leave from this pub because of a racist comment that was in a pub quiz. I would steer away from this place as much as possible. Due to this staff, and staffs attitude

Great selection of beers and wines and the staff are always friendly.

So sorry. Food is excellent as always (especially the Sunday carvery). Don't know why it set it to one for that rating
