Visited this pub whilst staying at a local holiday park. The menu is very limited and no prices displayed for the food. (Chips, burger, sausage and chips chicken nuggets, chip butty or toastie) We waited about 45 minutes for the food and when it arrived it was served on a cold plate and was very disappointing was also expensive for what we ordered (we should have asked prices before ) Will not be returning unfortunately.

Absolutely adored this cosy friendly pub. All the staff were so welcoming and nice to talk to. They had a rock band on whilst we were visiting which were really good. The food was lovely even though we got there just as the kitchen was closing and they still served us. Sue was so friendly and really made us all laugh and smile. Love this pub a lot thank you for welcoming us with open arms even when dressed up in 80s outfits.

Often passed this gorgeous pub on our dog walks as we live in Somercotes. Decided to call in one night for a drink and really enjoyed it. Sue is very welcoming and our English Bulldogge loves it! We will be back :)

Our fourth visit to the Seven stars on a trip from North Yorkshire. Sue & the Team are a lovely bunch of people who always make us feel welcome. The beer is lovely & refreshing. A well kept pint of Citra & a double gin & lemonade only set us back £7.50 compared to £11 back home. On Saturday night we stayed for dinner & it was very tasty & well presented. Lovely new beer terrace in the rear car park with plenty of space & a free standing fish pond which the children found very entertaining. Our Host on the Sunday night was Callum who was very polite & provided great service. Can’t wait to return again soon!

Stopped off for a lovely drink on our ride through the village. Shame to hear that horses are no longer allowed in the garden due to a recent visitor spoiling it for everyone else with well behaved horses. Great place to visit with a lovely friendly land lady and looking forward to visiting again for food!

Just called in for quick drink after a brilliant walk through the woods. What a fabulous atmosphere in this very traditional pub. If you want to step back in time to what pubs are all about then this is the place. Dog friendly, our doodle was very happy with the attention and biscuits. Great beer, great prices and little very landlords

Been many times before lockdown and so so glad to see it open again. It’s the best place for a home cooked breakfast, it’s pristine, service is fantastic. They also do homemade cakes, tried the corn

The glorious smells from this cafe promised a treat after a tour of the shops in the mill. We were not disappointed. The owner is lovely and makes her own soups, savouries, mains and cakes. Hearty por
