Fairways at Chevin Golf Club in Amber Valley

We enjoyed an amazing afternoon tea. It really is afternoon tea elevated to the next level! A wonderful selection of sandwiches, savoury bites, the scotch egg & cheese scone was delicious. Fruit scones with jams & cream followed finishing with a gorgeous selection of cakes & sweet treats. Beautiful surroundings and excellent service. Would definitely recommend a visit.

What a fabulous place to enjoy a very large and I mean large Sunday Lunch. We decided to give the Butchers Block a try and it did not disappoint, so much food, well presented and very tasty, it was delightful. Fairways is very well laid out with views across the golf course and the service from the staff was excellent.

Sunday lunch was fantastic. Great atmosphere and great service. Tom (the chef) did a great job with the presentation and the quality of the food. We went and had the butchers black and there was plenty of food for the both of us, which we really enjoyed. Very good price for what you get. Can’t wait to come again.

We went to Fairways at Chevin for an anniversary lunch and it couldn’t have been better! The service was fast and all staff were polite. The view of the course from the restaurant was beautiful (especially on a sunny day). The food was incredible. We went for the butchers block Sunday roast. There was only two of us but it could have easily fed four! The food was brought out promptly and cooked to perfection, we couldn’t have asked for any better. In my opinion, the prices are very fair for the quality and quantity you recieve. We went outside in the beer garden after for a glass of wine and it was very calm but still had a nice atmosphere. Definitely coming back again!

*THE BEST SUNDAY LUNCH EVER!* Took the Family to here yesterday and I didn’t realise how good the Sunday roasts were, I will never go anywhere else. The Chef Tom really has a special talent and every meal I’ve had here has been amazing but this Definitely tops it. Just Make sure you have room, I had to be rolled out.

Oh my god! It was amazing, I took my husband for valentines! The food honestly is the best, you wouldn’t expect it but I have eaten as some of the top restaurants and this is the best kept secret 🤫 get in whilst you still can, I’m looking forward to the next night. X

We have just had our Xmas party for 25 people here as our visit last year made us want to return again as the food and service was truly top class both times . Well done to everyone

We have just been for a group Breakfast with Santa, and the food was amazing, we had over 70 people for breakfast and they smashed it out the park. Everyone enjoyed themselves, so well organised and Thank you to Santa and one of his Elves for taking time out and coming all the way from Lapland to see us. 🙏

We went for Sunday roast dinner as a family of 4 and the food was exceptional. We all had a different meat joint and they were cooked to perfection. There was a variety of seasonal vegetables, so many in fact that we couldn’t manage them all. Totally recommend a visit.

Fantastic food, nothing to fault at all, it was the best food I’ve had to date.Attention to detail was to perfect most definitely will be going again, 100% recommendation for any event.

My friend hired the whole place for her 50th birthday and it was fantastic. Wide variety of food and all was presented nicely. Service was good and the night was 1 to remember. 5* would recommend for any occasion.

Absolutely beautiful place and unbelievable food; from the presentation to the amazing flavours, this is definitely the place to go! I was lucky enough to meet and thank the head chef Tom and two other apprentice chefs, Chloe and Tilly. They were so friendly and inviting, their skills and talent were apparent through the way they presented themselves and the food . Amazing!

Came here with family for a Birthday celebration meal. Pre ordered as it was a table of 12. Everyone loved their food, wide variety on the menu all presented to look amazing and service was great. It’s lovely sitting in the conservatory looking out over the golf course, especially with the nice weather!

Came here for lunch with friends and was amazing. Food was delicious and well presented and with such a great view. Perfect spot for lunch will definitely be back and would recommend!

Came here for a friends birthday party! The room looked amazing, the buffet was superb, massive variety and all tasted amazing. Service was great with a fully stocked bar and everyone had a great evening.

The provision and service at Fairways for my wife's special birthday party was excellent. Cuisine and presentation by chef Tom Gaskin was superb and worthy of mention. All attendees were similarly impressed. Top Marks!

By far the best afternoon Tea I’ve every had, fresh sandwiches, amazing homemade sausage rolls etc and the cakes were out of this would. A MUST if you have a sweet tooth!

Highly recommended Chevin Golf club for a gathering for lunch. They catered for 16 of us today - the food was excellent, the service very good . The conservatory was a lovely environment to have lunch . Top class venue on all counts

Aside from being home to a picturesque course, Fairways at the Chevin Golf Club hits ‘em long and straight by serving food of a better quality than many of the local fine dining restaurants appearing in the Michelin guide. Take that to the bank chaps...

Top class breakfast. Red hot and served with a smile. Sausages were beautiful, eggs cooked to perfection and everything else complimented the breakfast tremendously. Highly recommended, will definitely be back.
