You want a true village pub with a beer lineup that's like a beer festival every week, then you want to drop into The Hart...

The chips were so good but the burger could definitely use some work. I recommend going for a smash burger using just locally sourced beef mince. Trust me it's an easy way to improve your burger.

Lovely pub. Nice place to stop and have a drink on a walk round. Can sit outside on the back. Or on the front and watch the world pass you by for an hour. Good friendly service. Nice array of beers. Nice outdoor area.

Great pub, quick and courtious service, reasonable prices. The choices of beers, ciders and Gins changes every week with some weired and exotic names and flavours. Good place to bring the kids out the back with games etc to keep them entertained Tasty looking cobs are on sale, ice pops for the kids along with various nuts and other snacks

It was our first time here and we enjoyed the beer, as there's a good choice. We didn't get the friendliest welcome and there was an overwhelming odour of bleach.

Went for a darts match. Extremely good selection of beers at reasonable prices. And very genial hosts.

Best pub bar none. Great range of drinks and snacks; extensive selection of spirits, real ales and craft beers as well as a good rotation of craft kegs. Folk here are great, the atmosphere is warm and the bar staff are all uniformly friendly and helpful. Everyone welcome. 2022 update: still the best pub.

An oasis of superb beer in a welcoming atmosphere - a very good selection of "known" beers instead of the usual unknown one off brewed beers of dubious quality that these micro bars force on us. Mine hosts Shaun and Becky take a pride in providing an enjoyable experience and a haven from the problems of the outside world.

For a local pub it's got a fantastic choice of real ale, some new stuff coming through now - will be interesting to see how this develops. Bar and lounge seating, friendly staff and locals, unbeatable in the area really. Fairly priced 👍

Called in here on a romp between Duffield and Belper. Beers were great, clientele all in good spirits and the chap working the bar even ran after us to return an item we’d left behind! Top pub and bloke. Cheers

After reading Reviews from around the web I was keen to try the White Hart for myself. From the outside it looks like an old Coaching Inn but the inside is tastefully decorated and furnished, from what I saw it is also a VERY popular pub and with good reason. A great selection of real ales served by friendly and helpful staff. The pub is a proper ale house so no food as such but delicious pork pies and sausage rolls on offer. In daytime the pub is on the Notts and Derby 7.1 bus route, worth travelling to. M

A clean and nicely furnished ale pub with a very wide selection of real ales with a conjuvial atmosphere for liked minded seekers of excellent well maintained ale and good company. Take outs provided for the desigmated drivers abstaining for road safety and other reasons.

A good local CAMRA pub. We live basically on the doorstep. Plenty of choice, log burner going in the colder weather. Friendly helpful staff. While they don't do food there are occasional visits from travelling food pop ups. Add them on Facebook to find out when!

Warm and welcoming! Handled and adapted really well during covid. Always a great pit stop from from with dog walk in the surroundings fields with friendly faces serving your favorite tipples!

Great beer. Pleasant surroundings. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Friendly regulars. Occasional sport on the one tv, but not enough to spoil the general ambience. Lovely garden seating for summer evenings and ample parking. All in all, well worth a visit.

Only stopped here for a quick drink on a walk past. Opening quite an intimidating closed door to the bar, but quite a nice room inside. A bit snug though! The barman was friendly & helpful, they have a decent selection of alcoholic and none alcoholic drinks. And looked like they had snacks too. This is a nice place to sit on the 2 picnic benches outside in the sun.

Great traditional pub serving good ale and tasty food

An excellent real ale and now gin pub. Good range of strengths and flavours to suit all. Slightly pricey but you expect this for the range on offer. Bar staff were helpful and friendly which made a real difference to the night. Quite a snug pub for darts and dominoes but it works and we had a good night.

We arrived on a darts and diminishing night, which was surprisingly noisey with the smashing down of dominoes. However the bar staff were excellent and I presume the landlord was a top man. We ended up with some pie peas .

This a very nice country pub. Excellent atmosphere with great bar staff. The seating is comfortable and not cramped. There was a wide choice of well kept cask ales along with a selection of craft beers both on tap and in bottles and cans. A cosy place for an Autumn evening.
