Been many times before lockdown and so so glad to see it open again. It’s the best place for a home cooked breakfast, it’s pristine, service is fantastic. They also do homemade cakes, tried the cornflake tart just lovely. I can’t fault it 👌

After recently moving to Codnor we thought we would try out The Lemon Tree and were pleasantly surprised by the tasteful decor and friendly service by the two ladies who made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious too. Hope it does well as it makes a nice change. Will definitely be back- nice they do a takeaway service if you call up as well!

Absolute stunning little gem of a cafe. 11 of us attended for my mum's 60th Birthday, organised as a surprise and Gemma couldn't do enough for us. The food was fantastic, real home cooked cakes everybody enjoyed. From the atmosphere to the food it's a real secret gem of a cafe and will deffo be attending again soon. Thanks again!

Visited the cafe for breakfast with my Grandad last week, very warm and welcoming on arrival. Decorated lovely inside. The food was cooked to perfection and very good prices. There is a carpark ideally situated across road which is free to use. Will definitely be back!

If you want to enjoy a relaxing and enjoyable experience in a newly opened Cafe, then visit the Lemon Tree 1951 Cafe in Codnor, Derbyshire. Very friendly staff, excellent food at competitive prices in a beautiful and squeaky clean environment. Go on, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Me and my partner popped in on Saturday for breakfast, it was great, lovely staff, very clean and nicely decorated place. All the cakes looked delicious but just couldn't fit anymore in. Will definitely be back to sample the cake and hot chocolate!! Would definitely recommend

We visited the Lemon Tree this week for lunch. We had the special which was a homemade quiche lorraine which came with new potatoes and salad. The quiche was delicious and a bargain at £4.95. We had a bit of room left so treated ourselves to a slice of coffee and walnut cake which was yummy! The cafe is lovely and clean, we will definitely be visiting again!

Visited this pub whilst staying at a local holiday park. The menu is very limited and no prices displayed for the food. (Chips, burger, sausage and chips chicken nuggets, chip butty or toastie) We waited about 45 minutes for the food and when it arrived it was served on a cold plate and was very disappointing was also expensive for what we ordered (we should have asked prices before ) Will not be returning unfortunately.

A perfect destination ! We enjoyed an excellent lunch when we visited Belper today . Everything we could ask for in a cafe . Clean , comfortable , welcoming , dog friendly , lovely staff , plenty of choice on the menu, very good options for vegans , nice toilets . I could go on ! But best of all , the food was delicious . When we visit Belper again , this is definitely where we will be going .

This is our "local" and has been transformed under new management since our move to Belper 2 years ago. Now in 21stC taking card payments not just cash, very nice atmosphere, dog-friendly, welcoming staff. We had pizzas on a Tues night with special offer on cask beer and they were great! Feels like a real genuine local and they are also expanding the evening menu shortly. Also the advantage of a much shorter uphill walk home than going into town! Keep up the good work Mark and Viv.
