Visited this pub whilst staying at a local holiday park. The menu is very limited and no prices displayed for the food. (Chips, burger, sausage and chips chicken nuggets, chip butty or toastie) We waited about 45 minutes for the food and when it arrived it was served on a cold plate and was very disappointing was also expensive for what we ordered (we should have asked prices before ) Will not be returning unfortunately.

Who knew this hidden gem was here!! Nipped in for a quick coffee with the husband and was greeted by the most friendly and outgoing team. Honestly, the coffee was wonderful and just how I like it with hint of Vanilla. Given how nice the atmosphere were we thought let's try the food which was good on the pocket too and was delicious!! We had a toastie and panini which was just the right size for a spot of afternoon lunch, with a side of crisps and a little salad. whilst there we noticed the infused teas, which we are a big lover of the infused teas in life, it was a must to try with a food and did not let us down. We also had the pleasure of meeting the new owner Sara and her son Jack, it was a pleasure having a chat with them and hearing all about their plans. All I can say is I can't wait to come back next week and try more of their delicious menu!

I revisited the Spotted Cow having decided to never return 7 years ago because the service was so poor. However, for a family gathering it was handy for everyone to get to, and I thought a lot can change in 7 years, and it had. The service was great and the front of house staff were efficient and friendly. The menu and food however were really disappointing. Minimal choice for vegetarians and vegans; jacket potato or three bean chilli. I chose the jacket potato and wished I hadn't. It was definitely a reheated potato, and I felt as if I'd been served yesterday's left overs. As there are only two vegan options, surely they could be of good, edible quality. I didn't make a fuss because I didn't want to disturb the happy family gathering we had going, but we won't be returning.

Always consistently good food and service. My wife and I called in late afternoon for a drink and early dinner. Knew exactly what we wanted and it was served just as expected. Not often I leave a restaurant really satisfied but I always do at the KH. Always a nice buzz about the place too. Lucky to have it within walking distance.

Excellent service and very pleased to see a dog free area , imho all eating out establishments should be assistance dogs only .

I ate at the inn on Monday and the food is absoloutly fantastic. I went for the 16 hour slow cooked Ox cheek and was not disappointed. The menu covers from traditional pub grub to dishes like the OX cheek. Coupled with a couple of pints of really good ales. Staff and customers really friendly. The icing on the cake was 2 log fires which was very much appreciated. A very traditional cottage pub that is well worth a visit. I will be back when in the UK. Keep up the amazing work guys 👏

We have been coming to the Mundy arms for years since moving to the Derby area and We are all gutted to hear it's closing, especially since its the best we've know it in all the years we've been coming. The current staff are head and shoulders the best they've ever been. Service is exceptional, genuine friendly staff who aren't putting on faces, they are happy to be there and that is something that any pub would kill to have. We wish them all the best in the future. The only disappointing things is that we found out the pub was closing via email and Facebook the Friday 12th before they shut on the Sunday 14th. This seems very short notice for all involved. Thank you for everything Mundy Arms!

Visited today to book 19 people in for a November lunch. The Manager was not even interested. Said he would only book for 12, we would have to make 2 bookings and it would take too much time to serve us. Told him to forget it. How can they afford to turn away 19 people. Not worth patronising and won't bother again.

Popped in for Sunday lunch. The cavery was decent (and reasonably priced) without being spectacular, and we received a warm welcome from the staff despite not booking. Nice place and location for a walk afterwards. The pub is nice and quiet with a traditional pub feel.
