Nice coffee lovely atmosphere and had a lovely day

I ordered from this costa at 5:30pm on Justeat and the order was accepted. The app showed that they were working on my order. 20 minutes later my order was cancelled with no explanation

Absolutely amazing. Quick service and gorgeous drinks. Love going to this place.

Don't tend to drink coffee at places like this. Feel that £9 for 2 coffees is a bit extortionate

Lattes tend to be quite weak and need extra shots

I have only been to this costa once I was waiting at the front of the queue for 5-10mins and no one spoke to me they didn't tell me they would be with me a minute they just stood and moaned about not having any cash in the register, 4 staff members just looked right threw me and I just stood there smiling like a muppet waiting to be served. Not good for someone who has anxiety so needs improvement on customer service and the prices are just ridiculous as I spent £10 on 2 drinks.

Great staff, they are all really friendly. I always ask for 2 pots of soy milk and after just a couple of weeks they have remembered and I no longer need to ask. They also have a lovely outside seated area that is always clean and tidy as is the rest of the shop. Thumbs up all the way

Come in today with barely 10 people in to be told I cannot have a large latte as there Is no cups for it despite me looking round and no one else has a large either, my wrap came to me butchered and mangled. Never had a treat experience in this particular branch and now will not be coming to this one again.

Staff not very friendly.not much atmosphere

After a recent renovation, I found the new look somewhat underwhelming. Given the festive season, the shop didn’t really have a festive feel at all. I’d say the franchise owner has a serious freeze on spending. Hard to believe when you consider the prices of drinks.

Wet cappuccinos and toast done on one side. The usual for costa. "Hand Crafted" has gone for good i think.

Warm white bread, instead of nicely browned toast. Toast must be the easiest thing to cook and get right !

Always enjoy my costa Saturday morning, but being type 2 diabetic I have sweetners, but it seems costa don’t have them anymore??? The place is clean and refurbished made a nice job but not very good if they don’t cater for everyone, derby one was as bad no bread last week,costa get a grip?

Better coffee (cheaper too) to be had elsewhere in town. Price now £3:15 bring your own sweetners too as they don't provide them!! Last visit for me unless no other choice. #

Went to Costa in Alfreton Had Mango Frappe absolutely lovely and very refreshing. The staff were, two young men who were very helpful, happy and very busy, specially in this heat. I take my hat off to them both. Well done. I do Love Costa ginger biscuits my favourites. I Usually have a toastie but the weather was far too hot.

If the SprayMasters aren't up at the one on the a38 we are at this one for 730am! Friendly staff, always tastes spot on! SprayMasters Should have shares in Costa we use it that much!

Inside shop it was a fairly busy early morning, the service was good drinks where as expected spot on. Only thing of putting was the state of the windows, they were a mess not sure if double glazed units that have lost their seal? It spoils the atmosphere/experience of the visit.

The staff work really hard as everytime I've been the que is endless... The front window looks so dirty it's almost off putting.

Served politely by staff with hot drink and cake. Cafe was busy with most tables taken with customers in mid afternoon

Went to peacocks which was on google but it's closed down it needs revising shopping good apart from that.

First time I have been to this Costa. Very clean inside. The staff made me feel welcome. Very friendly staff. I have noticed the tables were kept clean. I will definitely be returning here in the future

Internet not great unless you have a window seat by the st ... Dont touch the windows ...they are filty inside and out makes the place look grubby.. tables are cleared quickly but some tables are not wiped over :( after us .. I feel dirty when leaving the place.

So for years the costa has had a super poor wifi. Every costa I have been in the country which is a lot has O2 wifi which allows you to stay connected for as long as you like. Here they only have 30 min, and it is not accessible across the entire cafe. Apparently you can ask for a code, but that is far to burdensome and is very different to other costa's. Furthermore, if you think bringing a dongle is a good workaround, you be in for a sad reality, the reception in this area seems to be in a blind spot and is very very poor on O2 and EE, not sure about others. They need to upgrade the wifi. The other downside is they close the very back before 3 every time I have been there. This is a significant section with additional tables and charge points and should not be closed 3 hours before closing time. I feel like they are becoming a bit like subway with their customer service approach, Deliveroo takes priority over people in the queue and that seems a good way to put off your customers.

Nice to be able to sit in again. Good coffee good staff now the old manager has left.

It was brilliant I had a hot chocolate and it the the best hot chocolate I have ever had.

staff are always friendly and efficient. I use the drive thru 3 or 4 times a week and occasionally drink in and I'm never disappointed with the quality of drink or speed of service

Popped in for a drink and a toilet stop. The men's cubicles in the toilets smelt awful, and the floor was covered in liquid

Stopped at Tibshelf services when driving from Yorkshire to Berkshire. Services were clean and presentable. Costa choices were good. Although I had ordered two vegetarian/vegan paninis to be warmed, one was being prepared using the green chopping board/knife, and the other using the yellow one (the only other one). I presume the green one was correctly for vegetarian food preparation, which means the yellow one should not have been used for my meal.

Costa delivers on motorway services. Coffee panini sand cakes give very good taste. Not the cheapest but good quality.

Stopped here for a comfort and drinks break in our way to the Booking Day races at Wolverhampton. Nice services and never too busy. Plenty of places to eat and drink and this Costa is always a good choice. Good selection of drinks, friendly staff and quick service. Will stop here when in the area.

All of the family met there for a Christmas drinks nice warm and beautiful season hot drinks. Toilets were very clean so were the tables staff were very friendly and smiling will definitely recommend md. Staffordshire.

I have stopped here (northbound and southbound) on average twice a month for over two years. Excellent coffee and the staff here are SO helpful and obliging. There are two members of staff in particular I MUST mention - they happen to be the only two whose names I have discovered - Courtney, and Paul - who have both memorised my regular request - 'finest cortado made with character roast and skimmed milk' It also happens to be Courtney's birthday on December 4 so Happy Birthday to her. Gingerbread hot choc is to die for

Nice typical Costa Coffee(my favourite brand). Very prompt service (on a weekday lunchtime). White Americano Coffee plus Egg Sandwich for just over £7.

Love the soya latte from here and the tuna melt panini. Costa Chesterfield well worth a visit.

I go here quite often with my partner and although the little tiny jugs of milk are not quite enough it's still a very pleasant experience lots of options in the fridge and shelves cakes and other things but no options for diabetics which makes it difficult for me to have a snack so quite often it will be a cup of tea or water for myself nevertheless lovely place and in some branches there is on the street outdoor seating if you wish to have a cigarette etcetera

Stopped here for coffee, partly to honour a promise to my daughter that I’d have a break on the long drive home from our weekend at the BHF Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. Coffee a bit bitter and not the best latte art, but good enough for its main purpose of preparing me for the last 100 miles of the drive.

Dropped off here en route north.Often find service area staff pretty hopeless but this Costa is a bit different.When we arrived, it was very quiet, three staff on duty and all three made an effort to serve me. Order taken, dispensed and paid for quickly. Bit of a problem was solved very speedily (staff member immediately apologising for what was her error which was unexpected)All in all a pretty good experience and I would certainly stop off here again.

When I pointed out that I’d ordered just one shot to go, and they’d made it two shots to drink in the Barista said I should have said that when I ordered it. I didn’t then expect to be shouted at! Also the paninis were grossly over cooked but having been shouted at once I didn’t want a repeat! Dreadful place

I was in Costa coffee buying a coffee and had my poorly daughter with me. Unfortunately with no warning she was violently sick and understandably I was in a panic of how to clean the floor and sort my daughter out. In no time at all the staff at Costa rallied around me with aids of tissues, water and support with the situation. They’re care, attention and outstanding service deserves a 5* review. I love all of the coffee's and Chai Latte but food etc is a bit expensive

The till service here was slow and I was ignored with no greeting while the cutomer in front of me was dealing with an order choice that was out of stock. No apology when arriving next in line at the till either. There seemed to be 4 or so staff on but only one working the till. Which at the time was the busiest area. The cake I ordered was really nice and the coffee was great. Service from the barista was very friendly and efficient. Plenty of places to sit, the seating area, tables and wc all seemed well maintained and clean.

Nice place to stop for a livener and a break to your journey. Decent coffee and a good choice of soft drinks. Very warm and comfortable.

Not only the normal quality of Costa drinks and food - but in addition here really good welcoming service, and set in the very good setting of Tibshelf services which are the best services we have seen- modern clean and attractive.

Stopped in for a coffee whilst needing a break on a long drive. As usual the coffee was good as was the service, prices could be a little lower but I do like Costa coffee.
