Costa Coffee in Amber Valley

Love this costa - got to admit ! Been in a few times and order Uber from here 3 times a week ! they follow notes double cup my coffee to try and keep it warm (18 mins drive ) we all know Uber isn’t the quickest - and often don’t care if it late and or cold - then these guys get a bad rating , which isn’t fair ! So here a fab review to help you guys - great staff when I’ve been in and amazing food and detail to customer care too ! Thank you 🙏🏻 keep up the good work :)

Brilliant service and help at Tibshelf south today from David I don't visit costa that often so never really know what's on offer or what drinks are. I had a free drink on my app but with it being a hot day wanted something refreshing. David was very helpful, understanding and took time to answer all my questions. This level of service was above any service received at Costa before

It's a constant source of amazement how most of the service stations on the English motorway system can be so poor. After the outstanding Tebay pairing there is a huge gulf. Fortunately both Cherwell Valley (M40, see separate review) and Tibshelf (M1 between j. 28 and j. 29) are pretty good. And they are well positioned to service a trip from the south coast to North Yorkshire. The Cortado coffees produced by Costa at Tibshelf are pretty good. Friendly, fairly swift service helps. Pleasant location with loos the right side of acceptable. Let's have more of this, standard, please. Hayling Seagoon

order was 20 minutes late cup of chocolate had spilt in the bag ,a quarter of it was lost in the bag ,lid wasn't securely on, other than that everything was good

I ordered from this costa at 5:30pm on Justeat and the order was accepted. The app showed that they were working on my order. 20 minutes later my order was cancelled with no explanation

We do not live at 18 church street we live at 18 the croft. We would like a refund as it was cold. Make sure your drivers learn their delivery routes. As wrate NOT IMPRESSED.

Hot drinks were well protected by an additional layer under the lid. Delivery driver was friendly and punctual and even let me know there was a parcel outside that I didn't know about!

Perfect coffee as always. I usually get a soya gingerbread latte, soya chai latte or iced coffee. Sometimes I have to add more milk to the iced latte as it comes up strong but it’s always good.

Arrived on time and was pleasantly surprised upon opening the bag. I ordered a soya gingerbread latte and next to my drink was a little cup with a tiny gingerbread man biscuit. Too cute and appreciate the thought was a nice touch

I have only been to this costa once I was waiting at the front of the queue for 5-10mins and no one spoke to me they didn't tell me they would be with me a minute they just stood and moaned about not having any cash in the register, 4 staff members just looked right threw me and I just stood there smiling like a muppet waiting to be served. Not good for someone who has anxiety so needs improvement on customer service and the prices are just ridiculous as I spent £10 on 2 drinks.

We have stopped here before as it is a quieter services. No queue when we arrived, and we soon had our order in for breakfast! Toast and honey for me, sausage sandwich for husband with and americano. Great food and drink choices.

Great staff, they are all really friendly. I always ask for 2 pots of soy milk and after just a couple of weeks they have remembered and I no longer need to ask. They also have a lovely outside seated area that is always clean and tidy as is the rest of the shop. Thumbs up all the way

Come in today with barely 10 people in to be told I cannot have a large latte as there Is no cups for it despite me looking round and no one else has a large either, my wrap came to me butchered and mangled. Never had a treat experience in this particular branch and now will not be coming to this one again.

The order was great but it took almost two hours to assign a driver.

After a recent renovation, I found the new look somewhat underwhelming. Given the festive season, the shop didn’t really have a festive feel at all. I’d say the franchise owner has a serious freeze on spending. Hard to believe when you consider the prices of drinks.

Wet cappuccinos and toast done on one side. The usual for costa. "Hand Crafted" has gone for good i think.

Warm white bread, instead of nicely browned toast. Toast must be the easiest thing to cook and get right !

Always enjoy my costa Saturday morning, but being type 2 diabetic I have sweetners, but it seems costa don’t have them anymore??? The place is clean and refurbished made a nice job but not very good if they don’t cater for everyone, derby one was as bad no bread last week,costa get a grip?

Better coffee (cheaper too) to be had elsewhere in town. Price now £3:15 bring your own sweetners too as they don't provide them!! Last visit for me unless no other choice. #

I got bacon cobs again not sausage this is the 4th time now with costa

Paid extra for caramel syrup in iced coffee. In total approx 5 pounds. Latte did not taste of caramel at all and was not at all nice to drink.

Received my latte, however tastes just like a watery coffee... not sure as to why as never had a problem before.

Went to Costa in Alfreton Had Mango Frappe absolutely lovely and very refreshing. The staff were, two young men who were very helpful, happy and very busy, specially in this heat. I take my hat off to them both. Well done. I do Love Costa ginger biscuits my favourites. I Usually have a toastie but the weather was far too hot.

The app wasn’t kept up to date with the delivery driver. Took for ever! Even had to call the restaurant but was out of their hands once the delivery drive has the order

If the SprayMasters aren't up at the one on the a38 we are at this one for 730am! Friendly staff, always tastes spot on! SprayMasters Should have shares in Costa we use it that much!

Inside shop it was a fairly busy early morning, the service was good drinks where as expected spot on. Only thing of putting was the state of the windows, they were a mess not sure if double glazed units that have lost their seal? It spoils the atmosphere/experience of the visit.

Internet not great unless you have a window seat by the st ... Dont touch the windows ...they are filty inside and out makes the place look grubby.. tables are cleared quickly but some tables are not wiped over :( after us .. I feel dirty when leaving the place.
