Not just coffee in Amber Valley

A perfect destination ! We enjoyed an excellent lunch when we visited Belper today . Everything we could ask for in a cafe . Clean , comfortable , welcoming , dog friendly , lovely staff , plenty of choice on the menu, very good options for vegans , nice toilets . I could go on ! But best of all , the food was delicious . When we visit Belper again , this is definitely where we will be going .

If you visit Belper, Not Just Coffee is a lovely cafe. It’s a touch cooler today. We both chose Meat and potato pie for lunch. It was a delicious, filling, hot meal. We would certainly have this again. No room for dessert but can recommend the fruit pie served with either custard or ice cream. Lisa and the staff are pleasant and serve some tasty meals

We visited this cafe on the strength of reviews when seeking a meeting place for brunch. I emailed in advance and was impressed with the speedy response and a table was kindly reserved. They were very busy and unfortunately the service was chaotic and painfully slow. Small seating area, quite squashed in and uncomfortable.

My wife took me to this great Cafe for breakfast this morning. I still don't know what I have done to deserve it, but hey ! I have been here before, infact I am a fairly regular customer. In the past I have purchased Bath Bombs from the display there. These are for my Grand Children, two of whom are autistic. Two boys specify they must be green. I could not find any of that colour. My enquiries resulted in the staff telephoning the lady who makes the Bath Bombs, who 30 mins later turned up with just what I required. Now that is customer service ! My breakfast was excellent by the way, and it always is when I eat there. Thanks Not Just Coffee.

Lisa and Jade run a top class eatery and made my girlfriend very welcome on our first trip to Belper. We were very fortunate to choose their cafe for lunch and had a wonderful array of food on offer for my girlfriend whose vegan - and vegan cake (Sarah had the trillionaire shortbread for pud). The food was outstanding and the service impeccable. This is such a lovely, local eaterie, and it was wonderful to be able to chat to Jade and Lisa (who own and run the place) as we were the only people in during the late afternoon.

Called to this lovely little cafe this morning. It was so so nice. The staff very friendly and helpful. The food and coffee excellent. A lovely clean place A very nice experience. We will definitely call again on our trips around Derbyshire. Well done ladies

I've been here often either on my own, with friends, my husband or the little mindees I look after. No meal has ever disappointed. Today was a visit with my mindees. The children's sandwich is plenty for them. I had a fishfinger sandwich which although wasn't on the menu it's what I fancied, the ladies where only so happy to make me one. And it was amazing.

This is an excellent Cafe that my wife and I visit regularly. We have had coffee, breakfasts and roast dinners and cannot recommend it enough. There is always a friendly greeting and nothing is too much trouble should you want something different to the set menu. Try one of their all day breakfasts, delicious.

Any negative reviews about this place must have been written by someone having a really really bad day. Just been for lunch with our grandson. As always it was found superb & great value. We all had plenty of delicious food and drinks all freshly prepared. I had bacon & Brie baguette with salad. Wife had homemade quiche with salad & grandson had bacon & cheese toasty with salad made with proper toast ( his words) and a very large hot chocolate, followed by Kinder Bueno waffle! All served by the delightful owners. Yes a slight wait but when the place is packed it’s expected. No big deal. Well worth waiting for. The fact that the place was packed surely speaks for itself. Someone is doing something right.

This a great little cafe with really delicious cakes, lunches and drinks. Such friendly staff and they always source dairy free for my dairy intolerant friend . There are great craft shelves to browse as well. I can't believe the review saying there was a long wait and unfriendly staff, I've never waited long even when it's been busy and everyone gets a friendly welcome. I've been to a lot of the cafes in Belper and this one is a real stand out lovely place to go.

Belper oozes welcomeness no more so than this quaint little coffee(sorry) Not just coffee shop. The welcoming was lovely especially in this day and age. My family were offered the menu and what was on the specials and the staff were very chatty and friendly. Iam particular of when food arrives from order and they did not disappoint. Food was fresh and delicious. And 11 out of 12 reviewers on here can't be wrong. (Can't please everyone)

Delicious freshly cooked meal, very friendly staff who go out of their way to ensure you feel well looked after. Will definitely go again. An amazing stocked cakes cabinet 🫣. If that is not enough some lovely handmade crafts, what’s not to love ☺️.

First time calling, we only had a toastie but it was amazing. Nice bread and came with salad coleslaw and my other half had Gammon, Egg & chips. It was very busy when we called so we did have a wait but that was understandable. The staff were polite and lovely coffee great and we even had room for cake. I even brought my Mum a gorgeous paper flower arrangement for her birthday. Will definitely be back

Absolutely dreadful. We used to love coming to The Perfect Cuppa, but since the change of ownership and name we have had awful service. The last 3 times the service was very slow, having to wait 45 minutes and without a word of apology. The last time we went there was hardly any salad dressing with the meal and the food was bland. We gave them a chance to settle in after the change, but not apologising is just rude, bad manners and not good business etiquette. Disgusted, will never go again.

We went to the breakfast with Santa, christmas fayre and also we go there a lot, the food and staff are amazing, very welcoming.

We were given a voucher for our wedding anniversary. We use Not just Coffee regularly. Usually lunch, breakfast or just a cuppa. This was really delicious. Lisa and the girls looked after us extremely well. Delicious sandwiches, salad, not to mention homemade quiche and coleslaw. We were so full we couldn’t manage the selection of small cakes and Scones! Took these home for later…..

Something drew me to this caffe just of the main shopping street in Belper . The prises were the higher end of my usual breakfast stops but oh was it worth it. The locally sourced sausage and bacon and i would think eggs added that extra value it tasted so good. A very warm welcome and service . My 1st visit yo Belper and I will make sure on my second I’m write back here for more gorgeous food

Excellent , freshly prepared food, great customer service , Very clean and such a lovely atmosphere . Great childrens menu and lots choice on main menu and cakes. Highly recommened too vist .

What an amazing little find off the main street. Really welcoming, one of the loveliest staff I've ever come across in a coffee shop. The outdoor courtyard and the way they welcome little ones with colouring crayons and books is just lovely. Food really nice, I just can't recommend it enough. Why don't you try it ..much more reasonably priced, as well, than the other coffee shops nearby .
