The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in East Midlands

I really struggle to eat out, I’m Coeliac and require gluten free, a vegetarian by choice and peppers and tomatoes are too acidic and cause me stomach ache and reflux! I avoid going public but it was my partner’s Birthday and myself and the kids wanted to take him out. The member of staff who served me did her absolute best to sort my food for me, It was such an awkward order removing this and that and adding this and that, she had to enquire twice in the kitchen. Not once was I made to feel a pain in the arse, even though I know i was! Another member of staff also helped and both asked if my food was ok at our table. My food came perfect and I was so happy to enjoy a Chocolate Fudge cake for dessert. Besides my awkward self, my family had a lovely meal out, we thought it was good that the tables were set a nice way apart so you don’t feel cramped and you had your own space rather than being back to back with other people as is the case in some places we visit. This was our first visit and we will definitely come again. Good food, lovely relaxed atmosphere and staff who do their best!

Sunday afternoon around 5 Timothy Taylors Hopical Storm was excellent along with a bottled fruity cider a more than reasonable £10:80. Two x Sunday lunches roast chicken & beef £28:00 done to perfection & just enough, bit of stuffing with the roast chicken wouldn't go a miss, another round of drinks & slow walk home via The Park estate.

Didn’t come, marked as delivered 1hr late and still charged me, I use just eat a lot and to be fair it’s only Costa I have a problem with, they’re awful in store too, it’s a shame our town is flooded with Costa stores and express machines

Visited today and my husband had a fall. The staff were so helpful and caring, so much appreciated. Really friendly customers as well

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the owner when a child needed to use the rest room, I could hear her shouting at the mother of the Child from the other room, the lady explained she asked her staff first and they had said yes, she continued shouting that her staff wouldn't say yes to that, when the staff member spoke up saying she said it was OK for the young child to use the rest room no apologie was offerd to the woman! The owner continued with her vile rant large glass of wine in hand as the shocked woman and upset child walked out! Disgusting

Great value for money breakfast

The food was lovely and hot when it arrived. Very friendly staff ,was served by Eve she always has a smile and is very helpful,she has served me a few times and always makes you feel welcome . Would recommend to my friends and family

Can not believe it ordered my usual Cool Lime Starbucks Refresha what I got was water with a hint of lime and ice. Could not believe it. If I was not halfway home I would have gone into the store and been like what is this? If I do go back I will be tasting it before ii leave the drive thru window.

Party at the Green Man. Food was amazing, tasty and lots of it. The Chef Peter and his team Bien joué ! Victoria was very welcoming and the guests had a great time. Sarah and the bar staff kept the drinks flowing with lots of chat and a big smile. Fabulous location could not wish for anything better. Thank you thank you

Had Sunday lunch here after a recommendation from a friend. Plenty of tables available inside & outside both in the garden and under the verandah - Nice to see as nothing worse than having to wait for a table. Easy ordering at the bar and very prompt and friendly service. The food was lovely & very reasonably priced. My partner had the roast pork dish which had plenty of meat & trimmings/ veg (more than usual) and I enjoyed the burger. Both dishes were very enjoyable. For desserts I had the chocolate brownie & Ice cream & my partner the waffle & ice cream / syrup. Again both dishes were very nice. Would recommend a visit to this place if you're in the area & looking to eat.

Popped in early afternoon for a pint during a brief stop off in the area. Absolutely nothing special, only a couple of other customers. £6.05 for a very average pint of Guinness, would expect to pay that for a pint of craft beer. Where did the 5p come from?
