Starbucks in Lincoln

Suddenly this Starbucks only sells hot drinks in large mugs, minimum cost of hot chocolate £4, the current staff either don’t care or don’t know , what a change from previous years. I’m deleting my app , it’s pointless.

Coffee has a horrible metallic taste. The machines are either gubbed or they’re running too much cleaning product through them. They also overheat the milk to nuclear levels which gives an additional burnt taste.

Expensive an was so hard to get a white coffee honestly the guy looked at me as tho I had spoken in a foreign language. White coffee please....... Got an American with milk... Naw it's a white coffee christs

It's a coffee shop but not my favourite. Sometimes my wife gets her way!

Great service from drive through every time

Dunno, why I go to this Starbucks lacks consistency. Dunno what quality of drink you are going to get. Its saving grace it is just off the bypass. If this store did not have a good location, it would not survive.

Staff here are so lovely and friendly

Are we having an off day ??? It’s not the prettiest place to stop off for a coffee, and the music is allay that tiny bit too loud. Whoever served me this time, … well their mind was elsewhere. We ordered two coffees and two cakes. Just a quick “ do you fancy a coffee and chill for ten ??” … well the coffee wasn’t that hot, ( not a big problem for me, I’m always being belittled because I drink ‘baby coffee’ ….. hey, I’ve got sensitive nerve endings !! ) unfortunately my partner can’t literally drink water out of a boiling kettle and she always asks for ‘extra hot’ ! Well this time she was finished in record time, while I took my time. However, we only got one of the cakes we ordered, I had to go back to the counter to explain to a different member of staff that I was a cake short. All in all, not a brilliant visit for Starbucks, seems a bit tarnished really …..

Only recently started going here. Good for a tasty snack and, of course, coffee and, on a nice day, marvellous for sitting outside. 🌞

Nice little Starbucks. A little bit of a wait to get served as the staff members were busy chatting to each other even though they saw me waiting. Could have done with a tidy up. For the three staff members on and chatting, someone could have whizzed round and cleaned up.

The staff at this store need a raise! One of us on our most recent visit spilled his drink, it went everywhere we informed the staff and clears it up the best we could. Within a minute they were over with a wet floor sign, and a replacement drink! It was our fault it spilled and they remembered what we ordered and replaced the drink told us not to worry and they would clean it up. They were so friendly and helpful and just showed what good customer service really is.

Very clean and hygenic, tables all clean and tidy and professional, very friendly staff. Unfortunately no outside seated area.

Twice in the past week I have been served at the drive through by the lovely Chris. Such a friendly, smiling, genuine guy!

Clearly to get served you need to be in drive thru. In store customers don't get served as drive thru takes priority. No wonder people go to Costa.

No WiFi for a few months so moved to linwood starbucks

“i dont what she expects im not a magician’”. referring to her burning her own shots of coffee, (on the 7th of January at 9.40 am). Despicably bad at making coffees, I felt bad for the lass going up, I’ve worked in Starbucks for years. it’s not hard to make iced mochas. and obviously no supervisors or managers will care. Great looking store some nice staff but ginger haired girl doesn’t know how to make drinks, toxic people shouldn’t be hired to work in customer service. Just spread hate, want to put people down. If I was the lass, that she spoke to like this. I’d seriously demand some action, if that was my daughter being spoke to about that. I’d be Fuming. Disgusting attitude, all because your embarrassed the company and yourself with your impotence.

A strange atmosphere. There was half a dozen customers. All guys each with his head in a laptop. The only chatter was coming from the drive through staff who were very unbusy. A decent flat white though.

Excellent service, the staff are magic in there.

Overloaded syrup in hazelnut latte. Tables not cleared ,ordered cake which had been wrongly labelled, staff very rude in telling me ! Order slammed down on serving counter. Not surprised this branch wasnt that busy ! Wont be returning !

Didn't have pumpkin spice on the occasion I went. Plenty of room to sit with a stroller. Bathroom was reeking.

Until recently, this was my favourite coffee stop. Some weeks after a serious plumbing problem in the toilet area, there remain a seriously vile smell in that part of the shop

My partner and I come here at least twice a week and the staff couldn’t be nicer. They go above and beyond for us.

I’m visiting Lincoln and me and my mate decided to go on a nice coffee date. It was soooo busy and the guy at the till had amazing customer service. I don’t know his name because the name tag said ‘who?’🤣but he has glasses and a beard. Even tho it was so busy, he still had a smile on his face and was really friendly to all the customers. 10/10 customer service!

Had a lovely meet up with friends in Starbucks in Johnstone Renfrewshire. The staff are always very pleasant and helpful. Thank you for the 5 star coffee shop experience.

Terrible service and so dirty !! Stroppy staff and super slow service 8 mins for a coffee … if only the staff paid attention I’d have had a refund instead of wasting my time with mediocre drink

Service here was shocking, short staffed, 2 errors on our order, went through drive through, told to park and wait for half our order then they forgot about us, husband had to go back in twice. Terrible wont be back to this one.

I visit Johnstone Starbucks regularly, it has a good atmosphere and the staff are always helpful and friendly especially Chris who always has a smile for everyone.

Staff are always so lovely. Such a nice wee Starbucks to sit in.

Arrived one hour before closing and was disturbed by member of staff vacuuming the restaurant around table . Very rude.

A tip for Starbucks Lincoln. When I was asked if I wanted milk I expected it to come separate to my coffee instead it was added go my mug of coffee before I got it making it milky coffee which I had 3 mouthfulls of and felt sick. No spoon just a wooden stick .. paid extra for the priviledge. The place was grubby.. tables and floor dirty. The croissant had half a slice of ham in and I was charged £4.40!! Last time I will frequent this establishment

Food and coffee excellent as per usual, however, not for the first time, my wife and I noticed tables being cleared but not cleaned with a bacterial spray or any spray for that matter. We would have thought this should be something that is done automatically by the staff.

What pleasant staff in this Starbucks , the person who served us was just so nice and our coffees were lovely. What a pleasurable experience. Thank you.

Rude, miseable and unhelpful. Served by Tyler who clearly is unsuited to the job. Missed half of the order due to his indifference. When asked for a venti filter the reply was a curt 'Machine is broken' No offer of an alternative such as an americano for the same price as is the norm. You really can't get the staff.

Came today for a coffee first thing we noticed the massive queue of people waiting for their drinks to be made. Any empty tables were covered in cups and plate and very dirty floor dirty. The toilets you could smell near the door. I ordered a cortardo and got a flat white. Place is disgusting to be honest for the cost you would expect a clean well organised coffee shop. Amazing how many people prepared to wait for garbage coffee. I for sure won’t be returning to Starbucks 🤬

I waited 20 minutes in the queue for a lukewarm coffee. Was told, next time when I want my drink hot to request it when I am at the til!!! The place was filthy. I can honestly say I had never found a back street garage as dirty as this place! When I complained about the state of the place, I was told, 'it is perfectly normal'. Which in mind says it all, the staff don't know any better, believing it is acceptable!

Having once enjoyed tuna fish sandwiches many years ago, we were intrigued as to what this offering would taste like. I found it hard to zero in on the taste of the tuna alternative but we liked the red onion, vegan mayo, horseradish sauce, cucumber and rocket on malted bread. We also gave a thumbs up to the vegan cookie, the soya flat white and the friendly, upbeat service from the member of staff who took our order.

My Boyfriend and I went into the Starbucks on the High Street. I ordered my drink from a guy called Casey who has served me often before, he is really lovely and is always very proactive. It seemed that they didn’t have as many staff as usual, however my White Mocha still got served promptly and was lovely! Casey is definitely an amazing worker and deserves to be acknowledged for his hard work!

High street, Sunday 955am Very Slow service from the barista as a queue was already formed as I ordered my PSF, extra ice, extra shot of decaf, plus almond milk. No one seems to rush the male barista seems like he’s had a heavy night or he just takes it slow maybe his blood pressure is high or he’s on Prozac and tranqs…. Anyhow ……. So first the barista gave me an iced PSL and didn’t read the ticket right on the cup I assume. He huffed so loud and shook his head…… He then tried again. Then he produced a sloppy frap. When challenged he snapped at me …. that’s how it should be. ! I don’t want to sound condescending however I think I was spending my cash in Starbucks while he was just his mothers desire on having a baby. Anyways after a challenging vocal educational, I placed it under the till pass and smiled at the lady, she asked me if she would like this to be remade. I gave her some advice on a decent frap made with Almond milk and that adding extra ice to the pre blitz would stable it more. She didn’t or couldn’t hear. As it was made again runny. The male barista shook his head. So I spoke louder. Asking her to add more ice and blend. ! It worked. The perfect frap she looked amazed. …. Until she spilt it all over the pass. I asked for a refund. I’ve just moved into the area from Essex and maybe I’ve been very spoilt from Starbucks over the past Twenty one years of loyalty however this branch is shocking. I really need this to work yet retraining is much in dyer need in this branch. All I wanted was my first pumpkin spiced decaf almond milk frap of the season….. I came away with a refund and a free coffee ticket and still need a drink. !

Decent staff when we attend especially the guy serving who was very happy and pleasant to deal with. The tables were clean and the drinks were good as per the usual Starbucks.

I went in on bank holiday Monday in the baking heat and a worker named Casey got very angry at people trying to queue in the shade rather than direct sunlight. He held up the queue talking to customers who were his friends and saying how he wanted to hug them but couldn’t etc. Female customers were being called ‘sweetheart’ or ‘darling’ with no patronising term of endearment for the men. Unless all these women really were Casey’s sweethearts, which I doubt, it felt quite sexist and demeaning. The drinks were made quickly and tasted great, however.

Guy with blue top knot was especially warm and welcoming. Left with my mood boosted and a nice drink.

Quick enough service but it wasnt busy. Our table & others were not being cleaned after previous customer departed. Also, the waste bin was full to overflowing. There was too much chat between staff & not enough anti-Covid going on. Needs to improve.

When in Lincoln I always like to visit this Starbucks. Staff who talk to you, tidy shop and coffee that is consistently well made. Unlike the poor staff and service at the Tritton Park Starbucks. Keep up the good work.🙏

Drowning coffee in frothy milk may hide both the bitter taste and the low quality of the beans. Drink an espresso and the disgusting taste is revealed.

We visited Starbucks in Lincoln while on a day out for one of my daughters birthday. We managed to find plenty of seating for our party of 6.When ordering, there was a lovely young man on the till and also a woman called Enny. She was so friendly, had a fab sense of humour and joined in our fun way we ordered. Whilst waiting for our drinks, my eldest daughters drink slipped out of her hand, the young man who had made the drink was less than friendly, snapped at my daughter and walked away. My eldest daughter is autistic, she was so apologetic and his reaction upset her. I spoke to Enny, I explained the situation and she quickly made another drink for her. Enny came over with complimentary drinks vouchers and apologised about the man's behaviour. (Unfortunately, he was unable to do this himself)If I was doing the rating solely on Enny, it would be a 5 star review.

El lugar era cálido y acogedor, y me saludó de inmediato. alegre barista miembro llamado caitlin. Su servicio al cliente fue excelente y le dije eso también. Ella continuó sonriendo mientras yo ordenaba la moca más grande que hacían y parecía empática con mi frustración y quejas por los trenes en huelga, las multitudes y las heladas temperaturas afuera. Pero este amable barista hizo mi día solo por ser una cara amable. ¡Y mi mocha también estaba deliciosa!

Visited the tritton road Starbucks today first time for ages, was so pleased to see new cup sizes, small and nice shape, hate big square cups!! Also really pleased to see filter coffee!! And pouring cream! Perfect!! At last !! Also pleased to see they are addressing take away cups charging 10p extra and donating that to charity!!

I quite like Starbucks, but only ever visit as a "treat".My recent visit to the Lincoln High Street branch was a spur-of-the-moment decision, so that I could pick up one of their new Christmas range drinks. I was not disappointed!The service was quick, and I was waiting only a few minutes to place my order - long enough to decide what I wanted. I had my drink in my hand a couple of minutes later, and was enjoying the indulgent taste of the festive treat.Staff wise, they were all working as fast as they could to cut down the queue, whilst retaining the Starbucks perfection with each drink. +++

Great coffee, polite staff and clean premises. Stopped in for breakfast after dropping car off for a service. Pleasantly surprised as most coffee shops in the area haven’t been that good previously.

Caramel macchiato is very nice in here , staff are always pleasant but service a bit slow , enjoyed my strawberry and cream Frappuccino very sweet but very tasty

El lado listo fue cuando puse mi orden a través del miembro del personal que me atendió puso Olly en lugar de Alex y fueron algunas tabletas sucias pero se limpiaron.

Went in for a couple of Frappuccino’s - the drinks themselves were good but the customer service was excellent . It was busy but James on the till took the time to help set up a loyalty card and was polite and in a great mood the whole time .

Went into Starbucks today with my partner, my one year old, my friend and her little girl. Drinks were lovely and cooled us off in the hot weather. Good customer service as usual and unfortunately my drink I'd just bought got spilt all over the floor when I held my friend's daughter for a cuddle. We asked if we could have some paper towels to wipe it up and a lady came over straight away and offered me a new drink free of charge which was lovely of her and she said she knows what it's like with young children herself. I think it went above and beyond her job role, I usually come here when I come to Lincoln anyway which is fairly regularly but now I will definitely be coming back.

When we popped into this Starbucks location it was hard to find a clean place to sit. I realize that they were probably busy before we got there. Everything was just piled up everywhere. We did however, enjoy the new vegan chocolate bar, it was excellent. It would have been nice to be able to sit down, we just left instead.

My wife and I went in for a coffee. Had a job to find a clean table, nearly all full with dirty pots. The floor and chairs covered in crumbs and crusts. On ordering drinks was told we couldn't have them in mugs as they hadn't any clean ones . Staff grumpy and unhelpful. Will not be going there again.

Always have really friendly nice staff, and the shop is lovely after the refurbishment. Would prefer more seating outside if it were possible because it always gets busy. Only thing is the main door is very heavy and stiff and can be difficult to open/ hold.

Visited this store over my visit in Lincoln. There are few happy staff members but there is only one member of staff in this store who is miserable when visited this store. Visited the store on Friday late afternoon and the Bin where all the rubbish goes was overflowing with rubbish and the staff members could not be bothered to change the bin bags if that was my local Starbucks store there would off changed it there were a few messy tables and my mums drink was very milky and not made right when said to make not to hot.

On every occasion I have ended up in a Starbucks it's always the same , FILTHY ! Disgusting chairs , toilets , floor tables , window sills . I don't choose to go but sometimes your with people who may wish to go in . There is no care put into these places , it's all about cash in tills .

Not clean, tables not cleared or cleaned.Toilets "closed for cleaning". n Not busy but cold coffee, you could hold your finger in it, that cold. Replacement also cold. Staff apologetic and offered a free coffee on next visit.

I went into Starbucks High Street Lincoln and you can get a Pike Place filter coffee for £1 with a free refill, which is available all of the time.

I come here very regularly for a coffee and sometimes a bite to eat. Although it is a smaller starbucks than the others close by, the atmosphere is very comfortable and the interior is well taken care of. Staff are very lovely, ive never had a bad experience there ever ~ they make the visit even more enjoyable.

Often have little choice but to go in a Starbucks , it would never be my first choice because I'm yet to find a clean one ! Always food on the floor , sticky tables , biscuits and filth on chairs , dirty toilets . Have never ever seen active cleaning . Have also been a first early customer and the place is dirty from day before ??? . Staff however always seem to be polite . Coffee average .

I have sampled a few drinks and do not believe in my view that they are of the same quality and standard as other businesses close by.

We visit once a year for the Christmas market. After a long day of shopping it's nice that Starbucks is open late.

This place is really run down out of date surly staff and 15 minute wait for two coffees pathetic, don't go here find a proper cafe

Came here yesterday with 5 work colleagues before a meeting and we all ordered a different drink each. But every drink was lukewarm in a 'drink in' mug. Would have preferred it hotter.

A nice location on one of the main shopping streets means this place is quite busy. Standard menu and clean inside. The staff were chatty and efficient - a nice place to take a break.

My sister and I went in for a frappe only to be informed that they had run out of yoghurt ( this was only 11.55 am) we sat a moment to decide what was an alternative but as we did so realised just how untidy it was, we could have overlooked that but it actually wasn't very clean, so we walked out to find another coffee shop. We went to Costa instead

Haven't been here for a short while but on entering today you realise that this store is well past it's sell by date. Usual Starbucks fair which is good quality and all as expected but the store itself looks grubby, floors are worn and furniture is worn and dirty. Not inviting at all.

There's a lot of rave about Starbucks. Had a tall caffe Mocha and it just wasn't up to much. Speed of service was fantastic though!

I really enjoy going here and sit by the window, drinking my favourite Chai Tea Latte and people watching. Very recommended!

Bad smell from the badly cleaned floor. Out of date food. Poor choice of food. Disinterested staff. Avoid and use the hotel breakfast room or go out.

Always find myself drawn here for an afternoon coffee. Filter coffee is only £1.00 and its a good brew. Place is always busy but it's a good place to just chill out. Great staff. Friendly and efficient. Way better than the Costa down the road. Recommended. :)

Attached to the Holiday Inn on Bayford Wharf.. This place is ideally suited if you don't fancy the hotel coffee.. Staff were quick on the job too..

This is a typical Starbucks shop in the High St. There are many better local coffee shops in the immediate area that serve far better coffee and should be supported! I have never liked Starbucks and this one is no exception!
