Caffe Nero in Lincoln

Very nice...foods really good, coffee's even better.. Try the Honduras coffee, I thought it was very strong but full of flavour

Nice place, but awful service. The lady that took my order turned around to prepare the drinks and said something to her colleague. Her colleague looked at me and said "really". The first lady said "yeah". They wasn't happy that I did not pay one penny for my order. I had vouchers that I decided to use all together. She didn't said that I can't, so I don't understand what the problem was. She wasn't rude, but wasn't very kind neither. Similar was the situation few months ago with the same lady. I have earned those vouchers and I don't see what was the problem. It was my favourite Cafe, but I don't think will visit again.

We went to Lincoln for a business trip and stopped near city centre to have some light food. Saw this beautiful cafe so went there to try their Pistachio, Caramel and coconut milk and it was so tasty. Highly recommended to everyone

I ordered two coffees today. Usually everything is great here, really nice. I don’t know what it was about today but it was disgusting. So so bad, me and my wife took one sip and threw them away. They tasted off. Just a normal white coffee and a white chocolate mocha. Not returning here again, vile.

Is this a cafe or library? No seating for genuine customers who are buying a coffee and food, as freeloaders sit in here all day and use it as an office space without buying anything. During my visit they didn't even have a coffee on their table (or is it a desk).

Good coffee but staff provide a poor service. Generally it's more of goldfish brains when you make your order. Most of them are too busy talking amongst themselves rather than concentrating on the customers

My inlaws and son favorite place to go after breakfast, lunch and dinner. They are loyal customers. 😊

A good pitstop for a drink on the run and a lovely place to meet up for the caffeine pick me up. Often my saviour after work shifts thanks to the later closing times on weekdays

For me these guys do the best coffee on the high street, though I did think some of the cakes are little expensive for what they are...

Always a good cup of coffee from Nero, the a good selection of cakes and pastries, the staff are super friendly.

Caffè Neros always have a very welcoming feel about them. Somehow they seem to convey a feeling of being 'at home.' For someone with a hearing impairment, it is a bit noisy - I struggled to find a hearing aid setting that would enable conversation. Coffee excellent.

I went into this Caffe Nero branch yesterday, and recieved first class customer service. I was served by a staff member who had short brown/brunette hair and he was wearing a t shirt promoting the new El Salvador blend of Espresso Caffe Nero do. I'm umsure if this staff member had a name badge on, but he had such an enthusiastic personality and myself and this staff member were having a wonderful chat about all things coffee as he was getting my order ready. The food here is honestly to die for (the Brie and Tomato Focaccia is something I highly recommend) and the coffee here is simply sublime. I really hope this staff member gets noted for his customer service as it was just perfect. I honestly couldn't have asked for a more kinder soul after a busy day at work. I will definately be visiting again. Great coffee, great food, great staff.

A convenient meeting place, you can sit with a laptop over a cup of coffee, at least all day or meet with a friend. Dear cafe workers, tables sometimes need to be wiped! Very uncomfortable toilet.

This place always feels dirty. The food looked nice but was tasteless. Coffee was OK

On 2 separate occasions I have ordered drinks I have regularly and on both times this week it’s been bad, I ordered a chai latte and one of the new ice flavoured lattes … after trying the drinks they didn’t taste how they should do, the chai was just hot milk and the “flavoured” ice latte tasted plane, I asked the server if more of the flavour could be added and was told “that’s just how it is, that’s the recipe” however when you order the same drink in an alternate Nero store it tastes completely different with the correct flavour. Both drinks were undrinkable and unfortunately has put me off returning ever again, there was no offer to remake either drink, or to add more flavour. Very disappointed with the service, attitude and flavour. Very expensive for a terrible “treat”

This coffee shop is absolutely filthy!.. everything I looked at either had thick dust,dirt,cobwebs or grubby hand marks all over it.a water jug next to the sugars looked disgusting, who in their right mind would drink water out of that....this cafe seriously needs a deep clean,won't be ordering from this dump again.

It's OK. The problem is that when it's busy service does not seem to increase in tempo. Like a lot of coffee shops it's a very small service area, and when you have an order for multiple, complex drinks everything stops. I'd recommend that if there are more than 6 in the queue don't bother, unless your desperate. Access for the mobility impaired and those confined to a wheelchair is good. However, the counter layout and design mean staff look down on you if you're seated. Not particularly disabled friendly.

Would have been five stars but it's looking tired now and could be loads cleaner.

Often pop in here and usually not a huge wait, generally friendly staff, but quality of the coffee made depends on which barista you get (haven't been any major mess ups as of yet though!) Heating is on full quite a lot of the time, not so fun if swinging by for a take away when wrapped up in the winter months.

This place is so untidy and over crowded. The staff here do no clean up tables. The attitude we received after deciding not to stay was not exceptable. And the reason we didn't stay was there was no room to sit with a family of 5.

Probably the only place on Lincoln where you can drink a propper coffee. 🙌🏼

This Nero provides outside pavement seating areas on 2sides of the store underneath small canopies for those who want to brave the british winter weather.I found Inside to be quite spacious with a miss mash of different styles of seating & table arrangements.The staff on duty were very pleasant when placing my drinks & food order,payment can be made by cash or card.The atmosphere was nice & relaxing.

Great service, fantastic Coffee in a welcoming environment. This is a true coffee lovers coffee not like some of the tasteless coffee served elsewhere.

Decent top town cafe not as good as the one down the bottom of town. But standard Nero as expected.

Had pastry and hot chocolate very nice. Used my 25% off Meerkat card. Bargain. Staff very nice ,did the 2 min silence for Remembrance Day.....

Rude staff, Luke warm coffee and if it wasn't bad enough, gave me caffeine when I asked for decaffeinated coffee. Not sure if my 5 drinks were super complicated, or if the coffee machine water comes out in drips.... But 30 mins for 5 coffees to be served was dreadful!! I think if I ranked the coffee shops locally, Costa would be 1st Then Macdonald's 😏 Starbuck's Then café Nero dead last

Good coffee shop, spacious and comfortable chairs.

Met a friend for coffee. I arrived quite early so took a seat and waited for my friend who was running a bit late. No one came to clear the table in the 20 minutes I waited. Leftover donuts, spilt drinks on the table and flies on and off the mess and the chair nearby!!!! Pleasant lady eventually cleared the table and we had coffee and cake which was very nice. But, the decor is dull, seats were dirty and stained and the settee arms were all ripped with the foam coming out!! Very poor, will not be returning.

I don't normally have coffee here so this being my first visit I was very impressed. The gentleman barister was friendly and efficient. Comfortable sofas and easy chairs added to my desire to visit again.

Nice cafe. Friendly staff. Bathroom has a code to it, seems free to use. Desserts are fantastic. Hot chocolate is very decadent and tasty. I tried a blueberry muffin cheesecake, and it had some good flavour and crunch. Cafe is clean and well lit. Free wifi is available. Seats are comfortable and tables are well placed.

Staff member was very helpful and friendly. Quality of drink was not as good as the other store in town. Seating is eclectic and not very comfortable. Would prefer smaller tables and not high ones.

Coffee is great and the Barrista, guy with a long beard has amazing customer service skills. Always helpful and cheerful. Should be a manager.

Great trainee barister who gave us the best flat white we've had in ages. Great space - benches for bigger groups or for students to study and space for mums to bring in their littluns in their prams. Great spot
