Costa Coffee in Hinckley and Bosworth

Could not have toast or toasted tea cake due to broken toaster. Good selection of Christmas drinks and food. 🤶 The fridge is now broken. (Feb)

Went into Costa between 11:10am and 11:30. Stood in the queue. Everyone's order was taken and mine was not. They started serving everyone and acted as though I was not even there. After some minutes I asked if they were still taking orders which they said they did, but contiuned chatting between themselves while sorting other people's orders. I have never seen these two team members before and never have I been treated like this in Costa. I felt discriminated against and in the end I just went to Greggs. Really ruined my morning.

I’ve been in this costa many times over the last few years and service was always great. But the last couple of times I’ve been the service is terrible. And my drink orders have been wrong . Room for improvement

Visited the Costa at Hinckley, and it was very busy. Ordered three toasted sandwiches for three people, also ordered deluxe hot chocolate and two coffees.

Coffee is good, and the Staff aren't that Friendly, so everything slow and something stunk really Bad. Prefer Costa Shop in the Crescent where everything is quite quick and they appreciate the Customers, especially you is coming all the Time.

Still the same old, same old 🧓, but the shop seems very cool 😎 not very comfortable if the weather is wet and windy, as it's been lately.

Staff a bit too busy to clean up around. Toilets were closed. Coffee was good, can't fault it. However, by paying them premium prices I expect better service.

Was not too busy today, plus they had at least 3 staff working.

Very disappointed 😥 3 drinks I asked for which were on the board were not available!was told no brown sugar .."just what's there"...miserable staff ..one was entertaining a mate while the queue was getting longer and one young later was very curt to the point of being downright rude..the ambiance was non existent and the place looked grubby ..won't be goin again ..for those kind of prices I expected a lot more...Costa??...cost me half an hour of mylife I won't get back!

The manager was miserable and rude to both staff and customers, other than that the rest of the staff are lovely and helpful

They haven't sold any cold/ iced drinks for over 3 weeks now and it looks like it's because the staff can't be bothered. Don't even put a notice on the door to say so either. I waited in a queue for over 10 minutes to be told. Staff are miserable and service is ridiculously slow. I used to come here all the time but I won't be coming back

Not the best visit here. Tables dirty, flys around where we were sitting, just not a pleasant experience

The new manager is miserable and rude - I wouldn’t have thought she was the manager at all. Was told that products were out of stock only to overhear conversations that the stock upstairs and she couldn’t be bothered to get it. Puts a bad name to Costa.

I used to visit this place quite often in the past. I have left a review 3yrs ago, saying more cleaning needed and today I 'm here again and it's worsen even more. Prices gone up considerably, smaller cakes slices on display for higher prices, my usual decaff latte tastes barely milk.

What's the point if you have to wait for over 10 minutes for the queue to even move up? Went today because Greggs and Country crust were full/shut respectively, but I was standing for 10 minutes and nothing had moved with 6 people infront of me, 3 girls working constantly but no orders seemed to be going out. Absolutely horrendous, and this is at a "Not too busy" live time aswell! Heard apparently it might be because of JustEat online orders, lost a customer and I know plenty of other people from our office that no longer go there anymore because of it. Do better.

Service is quite slow at the moment and many key items not available.

Manager Charly was a disgrace today; let the team down and won't be coming back here again!

This place has a new manager and she has made a big difference once again customer service is back. Still the best Costa in Hinckley.

Just nipped in to grab a medium iced mocha. Conversation went as follows Server: erm...do we do iced mocha? (asking colleague) Bored Looking Colleague: Dunno, it's up to you...some stuff is there....dunno. Basically they couldn't be bothered to do it. Won't be returning. Wouldn't want to put you out or ask you to actually do what you're being paid for.

Good coffee but only available in takeaway cups inside presumably due to staff shortages

First time been in the Castle Street Hinckley branch but won't be the last. Had great Hot Cross Bun Cappuccino and two Rocky for £2.35. Well had freebie coffee anyway!! Great value , decent chap who served me and overall pleasant and clean place.

Thanks to Tracey and Ellis my experience with costa coffee through Uber eats was perfect. There was a little issue with the Uber drivers and straight away the pair were on it and we’re super apologetic about the issue.

Tracey and ellis were so lovely and attentive, they made sure my order was completed after an issue with the Uber eats driver. I also received two free lemon muffins as an apology due to the oven having technical issues. Thank you so much! :)

Staff cheerful. But unfortunately the place was full of flies. Had to leave food and drink will not be visiting again.

The new one is better more trained staff than younger

Always friendly and helpful throughout the takeaway service period. Cheerful greeting and quick service each time I have visited. Covid-19 restrictions observed and maintained throughout.

It was really nice and the drinks are nice but they did serve me a warm peach iced tea 😂 love Costa though all other drinks from this store have been yum.

Very rude staff member, who made 3 of us move outside, even though there was only 2 in the shop, she allowed an OAP, to stand less than 3 foot from the man in front of him, & just said "Dad you're next" Told me & the lady behind that we were too close, even though we were stood on the feet markings! Looks like daddy gets preferential treatment. BTW, you can get at least 6 people in at a time due to the floor markings. Left & went to the crescent, where the staff are much friendlier & speak to you like you're human & not doing them a favour by buying from them! Never again. Lady staff member needs to be retrained in customer service.

Long queue times (15 mins) with only 4 people in front of me. Coffee was good though and staff were very pleasant.

Visited costa in the crescent Hinckley as we do every Saturday morning and today we queued as usual and my wife Sat at a table as we normally do to be asked by a customer and female staff member to move as the lady had been served and wanted a seat for three people, There was another table for her to sit at but female staff was insisting my wife moved... SORRY COSTA WE WILL NOT USE YOU AGAIN ,YOUR LOSS. We visited the Taro Lounge and that’s what we will use in the utter. Much better staff , very customer focused. I presume my wife should of queued with me .Longer queue

Nice coffee shop however a bit worried since I left as no one who visited whilst we were there were asked to do the track and trace records.

OK for the quick coffee and snack. Limited choice of food but the service is good.

Usually great coffee etc but this time I had a honeycomb latte which was served half drink, half froth! I ask the lady if she could top it up (which she did) but it was still full of froth! She said this is how they are served now! I felt a little ripped off!!!

I always like Costa but I prefer the one in the Cresent as I find this one dark!

I went to this place because it was the meeting place with colleagues, had it not been fir the colleagues, would have walked out.Queue was not long but took ages to be served, there seems to be complete lack of urgency or customer satisfaction. I was the last in the queue and when it was my turn to be served, the assistant walked away to do something else with stock, this meant I had to wait fir the other assistant to be served. I really do hope it wasn’t because of colour, as it did feel very discriminative, I won’t be going back - your loss

Not bad..... queuing time is quite bad sometimes On busy Days.. I find the sandwiches and cobs quite expensive thats just my opinion

Lovely flat white, nice and hot. It gets a bit noisy in this Costa, think it's the old long building.

Recently re-vamped interior, very cosy and easy to unwind in.

Our Saturday morning meeting point and will continue to be so. Not used to the newly refurbished look yet, it's more like a works canteen now.

Normally staff are relatively warm and welcoming, but on my last visit I walked in and said hi and nobody even replied. Not a single smile from wither staff members

Stood in the que for nearly 10 minutes while 3 workers were sorting the order in front of us, it was a bit ridiculous considering they only had a 2 or 3 teas. Wasn't even acknowledged that we were waiting when we've been next to order. Over priced anyways, 2.95 for a bacon roll?

Pleasant staff and quick delivery on service however, the staff needed to be more efficient with regards to cleaning up.

It's the long queues that define this coffee shop. Something needs to change re using both coffee machines that are there with more than one barista. Please???

I do like costa, but prefer coffee rio, its just more relaxing

A Costa is a Costa, you know what you are going to get, providing the staff listen to what you order. I asked for an extra hot coffee and one with skimmed milk. They made the extra hot first then used full instead of skimmed milk and had to remake it when i checked - my extra hot was luke warm, not the best. Perhaps if the staff paid attention to customers instead of dissecting a colleague we would get what we ordered.

Queuing for a wee.1 unisex toilet for all customers mm oh and a disabled 1 but stared at for using that.may need to piss on the floor. Coffee cold and wrong order given 😠😠😠😠😠

I went to castle Street Costa today with my friend and daughter and I ordered a luxury hot chocolate and when I saw it on the tray it looks like a small pot of gravy, when I asked about my hot chocolate , I was told it was the low calorie one and if I wanted to change it which I said no but then changed my mind and wanted a normal hot chocolate with cream and marshmellows the manager was very rude and said "you'll have to remember what you order for next time "which isnt good manners or customer service. There won't be a next time I'll go elsewhere.😠😠😠

Costa is a nice place to relax lovely staff and the manager if you want a decent costa coffee go to hinckley on castle street

Went for breakfast with family to Costa.First time and last!! America customer service.But however butter was like bullets and cutlery dirty ...floor could do with a clean too.It Seem this place could do with new staff!!!worst breakfast ever.
