Costa Coffee in Hinckley and Bosworth

Not sure how you miss a coffee off an order but here we are again.

ARE YOU GUYS OK?!?!?!? Literally half my order is missing!!!!!!!! Worst place to ever order anything from!! YOU ARE A JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my second home because of the great atmosphere alone. The service is great, even at busy times, and the staff are very apologetic if you have a bit of a wait. The cafe is also now dog friendly which is a huge plus. Lovely staff. Great coffee and food. Great all round.

Advertises open at 06:30 Mon-Fr. Arrived 06:45 to a locked door and a staff member just looking at me periodically from her laptop. I'll use the Cresent store from now on!

Avoid costa .Staff so rude .Small thin lady needs to go on customer service course .Ordered hot chocolate my husband asked about cream she said 50 p extra not a problem. Miserable and rude won’t be using Costa in castle st again .

The only reason I come into this Costa is because of oonagh,Ellis and Nicole, they do an AMAZING job and always provide the best customer service, WELL DONE GUYS !!!!!!

Didn’t mark the decaf coffee so 1 went to waste, usual poor service from Costa

Didn’t come, marked as delivered 1hr late and still charged me, I use just eat a lot and to be fair it’s only Costa I have a problem with, they’re awful in store too, it’s a shame our town is flooded with Costa stores and express machines

Was nearly 2 hours late. Food and drink were cold, couldn’t cancel the order on app or ring the shop.

The business was doing an offer at the time of visiting for 2 cakes for £4, so we decided to visit as we were in the town centre. The place was reasonably busy, more at the front of the building but at the seating areas at the back it was quiet. I had the iced chocolate brownie frappe which was really nice and would have it again. For the cakes we had the 'lemon drizzle' cake and a 'carrot' cake. The lemon drizzle cake was ok, the carrot cake was really nice. Overall the place seemed quite clean but could be cleaner. The place could do with a refresh/renovation as it is a bit worn and the area at the back is dark. The cakes were ok and also the drinks. The location is good.

The frappe was really good would recommend

The food and drinks are fine but there are no straws which makes drinking a frappe near impossible.

Rude member of staff, not everyone but she made me and my 8 year old nephew feel uncomfortable when ordering a hot chocolate we assumed it would come with cream and marshmallows (wasn’t asked when ordering) she just presented us with marshmallows so I asked her about the cream she then announced extremely loudly that we hadn’t paid for cream - poured the hot chocolate into a bigger cup which then dripped all down the sides and made us pay 50p extra for cream - the queue of customers were shocked that a mistake made on her part was made out to be our fault. We didn’t get the name of this lady but she had red hair. Unfortunately the hot chocolate spilt (luckily cold by this point) and my nephew asked me why she was smiling behind the till at this. A man helped us out and cleared up after us which was great however the barista behind the counter made us feel extremely uncomfortable - to the point where my nephew said as we left “that lady doesn’t seem very nice.” Not a great experience

Great customer service received

The air flow in the cafe space needs improvement as it can get rather hot and stuffy inside, but it usually has outdoor seating available to provide alfresco dining space. Queues are unfortunately quite lengthy, service isn't as quick as some others in the chain. Ideally they need to relocate to a larger unit, with more diverse seating options. Otherwise the staff are quite friendly which gets them 4 stars from me.

The driver was rude to me saying my location was wrong. He pointed at me and was very abrupt - the food bag was open which meant my sandwich was cold. Not impressed

Could not have toast or toasted tea cake due to broken toaster. Good selection of Christmas drinks and food. 🤶 The fridge is now broken. (Feb)

Went into Costa between 11:10am and 11:30. Stood in the queue. Everyone's order was taken and mine was not. They started serving everyone and acted as though I was not even there. After some minutes I asked if they were still taking orders which they said they did, but contiuned chatting between themselves while sorting other people's orders. I have never seen these two team members before and never have I been treated like this in Costa. I felt discriminated against and in the end I just went to Greggs. Really ruined my morning.

they didn't have the all breakfast wrap, so I had a bacon bap instead just has good.

We enjoy our visits and the staff are always helpfull and friendly

they hadn't got what I ordered but the replacement was just has good very filling.

There was a note on my order - there were no muffins left that I ordered & so it had been substituted. A tad disappointed, as I’d specifically ordered for THAT muffin. I guess there was no way of the Store contacting me about the order due to JustEat app/order processing, though.

I’ve been in this costa many times over the last few years and service was always great. But the last couple of times I’ve been the service is terrible. And my drink orders have been wrong . Room for improvement

Not good, I’m a vegetarian and ordered a Brie and cranberry toastie and a bacon and Brie toastie was delivered

Cappuccino was medium even though we paid for large.

Visited the Costa at Hinckley, and it was very busy. Ordered three toasted sandwiches for three people, also ordered deluxe hot chocolate and two coffees.

Sent wrong item- delivered a toastie instead of a panini.

Explained a problem I had with my last order in the notes & they responded by hand on the back of the receipt and threw in some extra treats, which I thought was lovely, thanks guys! Also Pigs in blankets toastie is amazing, and a double shot iced latte will sort you right out haha.

Run out of prawn sandwiches I had BLT instead. Thankyou didn't have to wait long.

Coffee is good, and the Staff aren't that Friendly, so everything slow and something stunk really Bad. Prefer Costa Shop in the Crescent where everything is quite quick and they appreciate the Customers, especially you is coming all the Time.

First time trying Costa and it won't be the last. The Muffins melted in your mouth and the Cinnamon Buns were to die for. Don't think I'll last until next Saturday for a take 2 of today lol . Thank you Everyone

Still the same old, same old 🧓, but the shop seems very cool 😎 not very comfortable if the weather is wet and windy, as it's been lately.

Says delivered when it wasn’t isn’t the first time this has happened won’t be using this service again

For the amount I spend in Costa you’d think they’d put the protective top under the lid every time. deliveries are spilt. 1/2 gone. Every time. The delivery drivers car will need valeting too?? My food was ruined AGAIN because whoever does the takeaways thinks the seal under the lid isn’t needed. Actually brainless

Staff a bit too busy to clean up around. Toilets were closed. Coffee was good, can't fault it. However, by paying them premium prices I expect better service.

We were in town and decided to go here for something to drink. The place was reasonably busy but there were some tables still available. oday at 14.10 we visited the Costa coffee place in Castle st Hinckley on the door was a hand written note stating temporary opening hours, which we read and it stated Sunday 10am until 3pm, so we knew we had enough time for our lunch. I purchased 2 x sandwich packs, 2 x carrot & walnut cake and 2 x medium cappuccino. I was told the coffee would come in takeaway cups, but I was flabbergasted when my sandwiches were just passed to me, no tray, then after paying £3.25 for the pieces of cake it was served to me in a per bag. I asked if I could have plates and forks for the cakes, I was told it’s takeaway only after 2pm, I pointed to others in the restaurant who had plates and crock cups, but was told they came in before 2pm. The lady that served me asked another member of staff if she could give me a fork and the staff member went off to find some, she came back with a packet of plastic forks and by this time I was seated and she came across and placed 1 plastic fork on my paper bag. 1 fork for two people. They then proceeded to close off the area and most of the staff were scurrying around tidying up. It was the most unpleasant situation and we were made to feel very unwanted. The cappuccino was awful but we dared not complain. We had used our gift vouchers for this and we felt completely disappointed. The sign on the door should have stated takeaways only after 2pm. It was dreadful service. I expect to be treated and served at 14.10 the same as someone being served at opening time.

Coffee was good, well packaged with a seal under the lid which kept it at a reasonable temperature. I will order extra hot next time....

Everything on my order was followed correctly, it was delivered within a good time and was still hot.

Arrived cold, 2 hours after initial time slot.

Very disappointed 😥 3 drinks I asked for which were on the board were not available!was told no brown sugar .."just what's there"...miserable staff ..one was entertaining a mate while the queue was getting longer and one young later was very curt to the point of being downright rude..the ambiance was non existent and the place looked grubby ..won't be goin again ..for those kind of prices I expected a lot more...Costa??...cost me half an hour of mylife I won't get back!

The staff were friendly and the service was good but it is a Costa - not sure what else to expect so cannot say anything more positive.

They haven't sold any cold/ iced drinks for over 3 weeks now and it looks like it's because the staff can't be bothered. Don't even put a notice on the door to say so either. I waited in a queue for over 10 minutes to be told. Staff are miserable and service is ridiculously slow. I used to come here all the time but I won't be coming back

Use to be my regular Costa for a Sunday morning breakfast. But having return after the various COVID lockdowns server has seriously gone down hill. It's a bit if a lottery as to whether they have any bread for toast or if the toaster is working! Some staff are miserable and struggle to force a smile. Coffee quality is patchy depending which barista makes it. Looking for some where else for my Sunday morning treat.

Not the best visit here. Tables dirty, flys around where we were sitting, just not a pleasant experience

The new manager is miserable and rude - I wouldn’t have thought she was the manager at all. Was told that products were out of stock only to overhear conversations that the stock upstairs and she couldn’t be bothered to get it. Puts a bad name to Costa.

The latte had no coffee even though I chose caffeinated!

It took two hours for our delivery to be picked up and delivered. This resulted in the food and drinks being freezing cold upon arrival. We don't expect it as hot as if you had picked it straight up, but at least warm. This was due to no delivery driver, not the restaurant!

I used to visit this place quite often in the past. I have left a review 3yrs ago, saying more cleaning needed and today I 'm here again and it's worsen even more. Prices gone up considerably, smaller cakes slices on display for higher prices, my usual decaff latte tastes barely milk.

What's the point if you have to wait for over 10 minutes for the queue to even move up? Went today because Greggs and Country crust were full/shut respectively, but I was standing for 10 minutes and nothing had moved with 6 people infront of me, 3 girls working constantly but no orders seemed to be going out. Absolutely horrendous, and this is at a "Not too busy" live time aswell! Heard apparently it might be because of JustEat online orders, lost a customer and I know plenty of other people from our office that no longer go there anymore because of it. Do better.

Service is quite slow at the moment and many key items not available.

Costa was bad and just eat was equally bad. First time using just eat, won't be using again, will be going to your competitors and hopefully get a better service! Food was missing too!?

Manager Charly was a disgrace today; let the team down and won't be coming back here again!

This place has a new manager and she has made a big difference once again customer service is back. Still the best Costa in Hinckley.

Damaged cakes, toastie cold and not hardly toasted

Just nipped in to grab a medium iced mocha. Conversation went as follows Server: erm...do we do iced mocha? (asking colleague) Bored Looking Colleague: Dunno, it's up to you...some stuff is there....dunno. Basically they couldn't be bothered to do it. Won't be returning. Wouldn't want to put you out or ask you to actually do what you're being paid for.

Not got my syrup in my coffee, this happened last time I ordered here too. Unimpressed

Unfortunately, I've only had poor experiences with Costa Hinckley. This time the order was for delivery, it turned up late and without any of the food I'd ordered - even the straws for the drinks were missing. The delivery driver didn't think it was his responsibility to check the orders before leaving the shop, nobody in the shop did that job either. When I tried to call there was no answer. This place ranks quite low compared to other vendors in the area.

Wrong toast or sent & rock hard

Unfortunately they had spilled a fair bit but I managed to salvage eat I could. No fault of restaurant. Just a accident. Still nice. First time this has happened in a long time so no major issues. I still nit some coffee in me x

First time been in the Castle Street Hinckley branch but won't be the last. Had great Hot Cross Bun Cappuccino and two Rocky for £2.35. Well had freebie coffee anyway!! Great value , decent chap who served me and overall pleasant and clean place.

Food was cold which was a shame. They did call up initially as they ran out of the egg baps which was nice. Just messed it up by sending cold food.

Unfortunately the Belgium chocolate drink had overspilled. Kinda OK that it was that one though because I didn't like it. Also all the cream on both was sooooo melted and just not at all up to the normal standards. But I do appreciate that I think they put extra coffee in it.... I mean it tasted stronger than any others I've had. I'll still keep coming back because I seem to be a little obsessed. But please please I do love loads cream but it can't be all melted lol. And I didn't get much sauce in the salted caramel one either. I wish I could use my loyalty card I must have purchased nearly 10 drinks these last few months. I'm suffering so bad with mental health so I can't get myself out the house. I hope next time is better. Xx

The salted Caramel frosting came without coffee, the wait time was changed from 12:30-1:00pm. The ham and cheese toastie was cold and hard

Never received my order! It got to the top of the road and didn't arrive. The just eat woman didn't help at all and just cancelled my order instead of trying to help. Don't order if you have road works near your house I guess

I'm pretty sure both my frostinos didn't have any of the extra shots I ordered. So that was a let down. Other than they, they did taste nice.

Missing a coffee from the order and phone number incorrect on costa website so unable to contact to arrange delivery, had to take a refund. I feel this is not good service.

The hot chocolate was really dilute and watery, could not taste the terrys orange flavour

Nowhere on the menu does it say contains caramelised onion! Disgusting!

It arrived at the early part of the estimated time. It was piping hot and delicious. A drink had cream on it and it was still perfect on top. So it had arrived extremely fast from bring made. Delivery was professional and speedy and very pleasant. Will definitely recommend
