My brother lives in Hinckley and my daughter, grandson and me were visiting. Carters was ideal as it was not noisy, very cosy and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Came here for a Christmas meal. Staff were lovely and friendly and accommodating. Quite disappointed with the meal though. Christmas Dinner wrap was ok but mass produced and came with fries in a plastic basket. Not really worth the price I paid 😕

I have been to carter’s lounge but for desserts with waffles emporium. I found manager “Evan” incredibly rude , hostile and brutally sarcastic . His customer service skills were virtually non-existent and despite telling him I will eat in , he ushered his member of staff to put my food in a takeaway box. The portion of my cookie dough was small, and he did not provide me with a glass of water when I asked politely for one . Instead , he dragged out a sarcastic joke that “you need to pay £1 for tap water” …. When In fact his joke was not funny and quite rather boring. Would not recommend this establishment and think Aw’s desserts are better anyways…. Don’t believe me ? Just see and hear how he treats his staff and why they have all resigned. And just see how he responds to bad reviews on Facebook - with pure sarcasm , rudeness and lack of integrity.

The lady in the red dress and a Santa’s hat headband who served us was lovely and very bubbly and it made the visit very pleasant as well as tasty desert! Will definitely be back☺️

Ever since waffle’s emporium moved here I’ve coming here with my mates a bit recently. Today when I went a lady told me to try the carter’s milkshakes since I was unsure about it so I ordered a banana milkshakes and honestly I prefer the waffles one my crepe was lovely oh tho I’d preferred it if the bananas were room temperature but apart from that I’ll be back again soon (if waffles don’t move again before then)

Edited due to change in management: Carters has improved massively under new management, I now enjoy visiting both Carters lounge and their new establishment a few doors down regularly.

Took family of 4 out for meal, upon arrival was greeted by excellent table staff who was very helpful with everything. As for food it was cooked to perfection would highly recommend! Unfortunately this place is truly disappointing. Every time i have been in, there's children (who i believe to be the staffs) running around, being behind the bar, running in and out of the back. It makes it highly enjoyable. They have 'offers' that they just don't follow through with and staff that have a serious attitude problem. The portion sizes of the burger menu are getting smaller however prices are not changing and it's truly a let down. I could recommend staying away from this place enough. Edit: I forgot to mention, that on my last visit i offered to tip the only staff member there (young girl) who told me that tips don't go to themselves only go to the boss and they never touch them.

I work for Croner-i and we placed a lunch order for the 60-70 staff here on 26-05-23. The delivery time was accurate and the food was amazing. We had a vast selection of Udder Guy items delivered including filled wraps, full English breakfasts, jacket potatoes and bagels. There was also lots of desserts to choose from - the portion sizes of the cheesecakes/pies was great and I have to say the key lime pie was the best I've ever had. Would not hesitate to order from here again!! Faultless delivery and food :-)

We made a very large order for a works event and I am more than pleased with every aspect of the service we had today! The food arrived hot, easily identifiable and best of all, it tasted fantastic. The service was brilliant from start to finish and the event went without a hitch. Feedback from everyone was positive; we will be using these guys again for sure! Fantastic place, great atmosphere and food is superb. The breakfasts are delicious and we enjoy the pop up food events that have been occurring here every month, it let's us try something different. (They had a great food and comedy night offer one week aswel which was fab!) Staff are always very welcoming and we love the decor. Would 100% recommend.

Nice little cafe. There was no other customers around. We wanted to tried the Greek gyros but it was not on that day and we ended up ordering the UDDER GUY burger and a bagel. Food was OK. The fries were the best crispy on the outside and soft on the I side. The waitress forgot to give us cutlery and we just helped ourselves to it.

Ordered via JustEat, £10.95 for the chicken, halloumi gyros, if you get a magnifying glass or zoom in very close, you'll see a piece of chicken and scraps. Very poor and heavly salted chips. Will stick to the Greek Zante or Emmys in Nuneaton town.

Great place to go out with some friends and have some great food

First time here. Margharita tasted like rocket fuel, the cosmo was fine. Wasn't too happy to find out that the 'golden hour - all day everyday' £6 cocktail offer (that was advertised ALL OVER the bar) was not applied at the till. When queried I was told 'it's not today', to which I replied but isn't every day, *every day*? The response was yes, but it's not *today*. Bewildered we paid, but I can't see myself going back. Smelt of pork too. In reply to the reply - maybe this should be indicated on your signage that is all over the bar and window. It results in a poor customer experience, but I guess it makes you a bit extra cash albeit at their expense. I'll post a picture of the information if I'm passing so people can judge for themselves as to how they too interpret what - ALL DAY EVERY DAY - means... You'd assume ALL DAY means 'all day' and EVERY DAY means 'every day'. Maybe add additional detail to your adverts (or even take them down when they don't apply if you don't feel like adding times and dates).

#edit There are plenty of alternative bars in town that offer a better service and better cocktails. I would steer clear of this one. The food we ate was OK, but was provided by an external outlet. We had one drink and then left. I appreciate that waiting staff do not earn a high wage so try to tip where I can. Your response to both my emails and to this review says everything about your customer service.

Carters Lounge is an excellent venue to go and grab a quick coffee, have a nice breakfast lunch and dinner and it’s also a great night life spot where there are often special events being hosted. It’s a really well decorated venue with some quirky design choices and is a pleasant place to have a good time. Their coffee and cocktails are excellent, especially their expresso martini and all of the staff that I’ve encountered have been friendly and helpful. It’s located just opposite the Sainsbury’s side of The Crescent and parking is easily found at Sainsbury’s or the Council run car park across the road. Excellent venue.

I celebrated my wedding reception at Carter’s Lounge & Kitchen a couple of weeks ago, Graham and his team went all out there to make the occasion the most epic, sensational day of our lives! All our guests, family and friends thoroughly enjoyed our most memorable day, experiencing fantastic food, endless choices, drinks, cocktails, attentive, warm, friendly service throughout the day and long into the night, truly amazing! So much so the following week my ‘now’ super lovely husband and I had the most insane burgers and Cajun fries from the ‘Udder Guy’ their adjoining awesome ‘Gourmet burger’ joint dining in the relaxed, chilled and atmospheric Carter’s Lounge. We can honestly say we have never, ever had better tasting burgers anywhere ever before! So much so, we are booked to go back tonight and will be making ‘the Udder Guy’ our weekly dine in at Carter’s Lounge with a cold beer, or take away our weekly treat! Well done, we were blown away! Annie btw, is particularly superb, so friendly and her attention to detail as a cook is awesome, many thanks to all.

Visited with my fiancé who is a regular and a huge fan of the venue and I could immediately see why. Friendly staff, sophisticated decor, great menu which is reasonable priced. Coffee was great and I had a small breakfast which was beautifully presented and not greasy as these can sometimes be. We were so impressed that we decided to book the reception party for our upcoming wedding at Carters Lounge. Contacted the owner who was so helpful and accommodating ensured the day will go exactly how we planned. Obviously no stranger to catering for larger scale events such as weddings VERY impressed!!!

Phoned up to order some food tonight i some how got the wrong phone number has I am not that good on the internet and it had gone to the owners telephone he was really help and said I could still order and he was ring his kitchen staff for me he was brilliant very kind and thoughtful man nothing was to much for him thank you for the milkshake best I ever had and best food in town

Update following phone call from the owner. Owner called to ask about the experience, was such a genuine guy and was extremely unhappy with the way we was treated, and will look into the issues at hand. Offered us complimentary drinks at another venue he owns next door who we are regular customers of anyway. So glad to get the issue resolved. Absolutely awful place, went for a bottomless brunch here for the cost of nearly £40pp we was told we was only guaranteed to get a drink every 20 mins, which isn't exactly bottomless. Sarah who I believe was the manager was extremely rude and abrasive unsure how she works in customer service to be honest!! Cocktails had next to no alcohol in. And was advised against having only cocktails even though I had paid extra to have bottomless cocktails. A friend was told off for drinking her drink too fast Tried charging us £20 because 2 people turned up late to the booking even though the time of the brunch ending was kept the same. Will definitely not be going again.

My boyfriend and I went for bottomless brunch at caters lounge, it was our first outing since everything re-opened inside. The welcome we got was amazing, and the staff (especially the woman who served us, we forgot to get her name) were determined to always make sure your drink is full! It was our first time at Carter’s and we will definitely be going back! Amazing!

After having to rearrange twice due to lockdown restrictions we finally made it to our eagerly awaited Bottomless brunch. Contact over the last 6 months had been swift & the brunch was definitely worth the wait.Drinks were flowing, without the slightest prompt from us, & the food was really tasty.All of the staff were friendly & efficient, especially Sarah who went out of her way to make sure we were happy, while at the same time managing a very busy restaurant.We will definitely be back!

Went for Sunday Lunch very disappoined with the whole experience. Our table hadn't been reserved even though I had booked as requested on line. Because of this we were given a table in the bar. We had no menu to look at were just informed of the choices. We both had roast pork which was more like bacon and was full of fat. The veg was so overcooked it was limp and colourless. The Roast potatoes were frozen and when I asked for some appke sauce was told they had just ran out, which I find hard to believe as it was only 12 pm and we were the first customer's. I complained to the manager who took our soft drinks of the bill. Needless to say we shall not be recommending or going again .

Went for an afternoon, booked two slots 3 till 5 and then 5 till 7! Woman who served us was rude and arrogant. Didn’t wanna serve us and put us on the worst tables despite the whole lounge area being empty! Paid my bill won’t be going back. Dire service and poor customer experience. Shame really as it was our first dining/drinking experience since the end of lockdown!

I was really looking forward to our 1st "back out" experience and it was our anniversary. The food itself was lovely and we had plenty of drinks for "bottomless brunch" but we're charged extra and not informed when we ordered a drink that it wasn't included as "house spirits". We still had 45 mins as part of our slot and the hostess asked us "how are we doing for time" so we felt like an inconvenience.. having asked to move to this table as we felt uncomfortable in the main walkway. We then moved onto our next slot of 2 hours in the Lounge. Again, seated in an uncomfortable spot so we moved a chair.. and again "told off" for doing this.. despite that area not used for the entire time we were there. We just felt like substandard customers and whoever had booked next was more their priority.

Just order takeaway for first time, amazing chicken burger, moist great flavour, crispy fries. Awesome peanut butter smoothie. Will definitely be back for more. Great prompt delivery from lovely lady too.

Ordered food in the morning so would expect on-time delivery ..... Delivery slot came and went and it finally turned up 1 hour late , the calamari was over done and shop bought to be honest the lack of communication to even apologize that it was going to be late was poor , and the food was a lot to be desired . Never complain about anywhere and hate doing so but food was cold, dry and overcooked with cheap tasting produce. All went into the bin! Customer service wasnt much better, no contact number. They responded to an email next day claiming they wouldn't refund until they spoke to chefs and looked at the CCTV?!... Lol

my partner put an order in today and we received an email stating stuff were out of stock and we would receive a refund but didn't specify if it was the full order or just the items which we needed to know as if it was just the items we would need to order something else as that was someones dinner. so I tried to call them 8 times and my partner tried to call them 3 times, NO ANSWER, he left a voice mail for them to call back, NO RESPONSE, he emailed 3 times with NO RESPONSE, he also wrote to them on Facebook 3 times with NO RESPONSE. it came to collection time and they called for us to come collect as we hadn't had any response at all to all forms of communications my partner asked for the order to be cancelled and a refund as they did not specify on the original email want was being refunded and did not get back to us on anything. This is very poor customer service which my partner told them which they responded with i don't care and got argumentative and then put the phone down on my partner. how are you ment to run a successful business if you can't answer back to 11 phone calls, 2 textes, 3 emails, 1 voice mail and 3 Facebook messages. this is carters lounges mistake and we will be contacting bank to recall the payment. Its a shame you treat your customers this way.

Great place, friendly staff, food awesome and nothing too much trouble, definitely recommend 🙌🏼😋would definitely go back and staff working hard in the current climates, must say though no masks/visors by staff which was unusual in these unprecedented times
