Need to shake up the menu now, do something different please

Was greeted at the door by a Really friendly team member , ordering was super easy and drinks were swiftly served our food was delicious and we didn't wait long to say it was quite busy, the food was very well presented and delicious the waiting staff were very friendly and helpful, would highly recommend this place.

Food and service excellent would highly recommend

Had a lovely meal and the staff were great.

Sofas and comfy chairs were filthy.

Visited on 30th December, at lunchtime. It was really busy, but the staff were really attentive. We waited for a few minutes to be seated, but the service was really quick after we had ordered using the QR code on the table. The order didn’t all come out at the same time, but everything was piping hot when it was served. The prices were reasonable too, so we will be back again.

Great choice for a meal out. Loved the choice of tapas - great food with lots of other options available.

I came here, and of course we had a Japanese dinner in the afternoon. The environment is good, the environment is good, the people are happy, and the big and small friends and the city are open. We came to Tarro this morning for breakfast with our friends and children, after trying 3 other places that couldn’t seat us. The service was amazing, we were greeted at the door and whilst we hadn’t booked, it didn’t seem to be a problem even though it was busy, and there were 4 adults, 2 children and a baby, we weren’t made to feel like a burden. All staff were lovely and friendly and the food was amazing, we had a lovely morning

Been to the Hinckley and Wells (Somerset) restaurants. Both fabulous and indicate that you can actually produce consistent quality of service and product. I will always seek Tarro whenever I am looking for a restaurant nationally before others. Well done and please keep small to ensure the standards are met.

Lovely venue. My only concern is the assumed double shot of coffee - in a teacup! I would prefer I was asked how many shots I would like. Two in a mug, I understand, but for me, one is adequate in a cup. Thank you.

Went in for drinks with friends, excellent service and good atmosphere will go again in the future to try the food

Had family meal here last night Saturday 30th November for 9 of us, three meals out 9 were nice but the rest were a bit disappointing they were burgers they weren't the best very dry & bland my granddaughter s burger came out and that soon went back, it looked like a burnt lacey curtain on a dry bun no cheese the onion ring were late coming out to and very greasy it was a family treat put a waist of money in my opinion

We had breakfast with hot drinks. Food quality in terms of taste and presentation was excellent. The service was friendly - busy venue which was good to see. Music and deco gives it a relaxing atmosphere.

Just popped out for something to eat and decided to go in there as we never have before. Very pleasantly surprised, chilled out atmosphere, with no dress code so ad hoc it was perfect and the food was amazing.

Was busy and bustling for brunch on Sunday. Family and doggy friendly. Food was lovely except the Vegan option at same price as the regular avo on toast but completely stripped down and nothing to be exchanged for so looked a sad bare dish . Instead of egg and whipped Feta maybe some felafel/ chick peas or mushrooms or vegan feta . How can they charge same price when main ingredients been removed to call it Vegan and no protein substitute. Improve on Vegan dish and 5 star 🌟

Really sloooooow service and it wasn’t even busy. Place was nice and cozy club esq. cocktails were nice. Can’t really say too much more.

The food and drink was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. The only thing I would say was the service was a bit slow and a few rude staff pointing us in some direction not making any sense 😂

I've been here a few times over the last few years. I went for a warm drink with a friend. A few dates with my boyfriend / now fiance and then a lunch out with my mum. The latest food I had was bang bang chicken which was very tasty, full of flavour and really yummy - I would recommend this meal. My mum had the lounge burger and fries and said was warm, more fries next time though! Plenty of choice on the menu - food and drinks. They also do specials on the menu sometimes too like 2 for 1 cocktails one day, tapas Tuesdays and something on Monday. Order at the bar. Staff are friendly. Plenty of seating inside but can get busy and squashed when big groups are around you but when outside as there is also Outdoor seating. Card and cash payments Toilets. Accessibility is good.

The lady that took our order was very attentive and she took time to check the allergy ingredients for us carefully so we were reassured that my grandsons order did contain dairy. All food was tasty and price competitively.

Unbeatable way to kick off a weekend morning. Love the relaxed yet lively vibe. Excellent daytime dining menu has loads of choice, no time restrictions and caters well for gluten free diners.

I’ve always loved Tarro Lounge and come in fairly regularly but based on our experience last Sunday the food quality has seriously gone downhill. At £5.50 for a sausage sandwich, the portion size (one sausage between two slices of bread) would have been a little bit disappointing if it was cooked well but the single sausage was literally inedible. It was so dried up and burned that I couldn’t even chew it. Honestly can’t believe it was cooked by an adult, let alone a chef - or allowed to leave the kitchen, it really was that terrible. I can only assume it had been microwaved to death or had been sat under a heat lamp for hours or that was someone else’s leftovers fished out the bin and reheated. I have no idea how anyone could cook a sausage so awfully. Politely pointed it out when the plates were collected and got no explanation or apology for the poor food (when I told her it was inedible she remarked “I can see that!”) and my Facebook message sent later that day remains ignored 7 days later despite the auto reply saying someone will respond within 48 hours. We didn’t want to make a fuss and I can’t believe I’m leaving a negative review for what was previously my go to place in town for coffee and food but it really was that bad. I’d filled myself up on a side of hash browns so didn’t want it replacing and would’ve been happy with an explanation of what had gone wrong, an offer of a refund (which I’d likely decline if there was a reasonable explanation) or a simple apology but without any response at all I can only assume that’s the standard to expect now and I’d no longer recommend what was previously a great place to eat. I don’t think I’ve ever left a negative review in my life but as a fairly regular customer, being ignored after reaching out over our bad experience has pushed me to it.

During a recent outing on Wednesday night with a close friend, we were promptly seated upon arrival at the restaurant. As we encountered difficulty using the app on our phones, we placed our orders at the bar, and the staff graciously accommodated us. Our experience with the tapas and burgers was delightful, as both dishes were served promptly and piping hot. Despite the busy atmosphere, we found the ambience to be remarkably serene, allowing us to unwind and enjoy our meals while still hearing each other during conversation.

Love the choice of vegan food they have.

The food was great but didn't get our sundae for at least 30 minutes which was unfortunate. Atmosphere and decor is lovely.

We go quite often, never had a bad meal and staff are always friendly.

Unless you have an app on your phone you can't even order a simple coffee via the wait staff. You have to do it all yourself online even when you're sitting at the table. I would hate to think what it's like ordering food. The service is as good as you make it as you pretty much do it yourself.

The food was amazing, just a little slow with deserts but they were busy. It was lovely to spend time enjoying our food and company whilst the staff were very helpful and friendly, we all enjoyed a lovely lunch together.

Please bring back the coffee mugs. The new cups cool drinks to quickly and spill on the to the saucers.

It got dirty. The lamps are almost invisible because of the dirt. Sticky tables and chairs.

Kids meal, sweet potato fries, brownie with ice cream and a latte for under £18. Most of the food was good, but I wouldn't order the sweet potato fries again. Service was inconsistent, probably due to how busy it was. Kasey or Kacey? Was the most pleasant member of staff.

I visited this place with a friend and I got to say the place was very nice. Plenty of space and the deco looks great. I only been here in the day but I can imagine the night life there will also be brilliant too.

Love the Lounges. Hinckley is busier than most and so always has a great bustl de about it with an excellent atmosphere. Didn't eat this time, just drinks.

We went on a Sunday evening for some food, The staff was very pleasant and the food was very good someone came to ask if everything was ok which it was a lovely evening to end the weekend.

Great place to have lunch or dinner with my friends and family, as well as take meetings for business here. Great service and great food, hard to find somewhere that ticks all the boxes like this.

Love the mango cocktail! The cocktails prices varied £7-9. Had the Thai noodles and were so yummy and creamy tasting. The whipped feta was quite good and so was the patatas bravas (soft and crispy).

Been their twice in June 24 and the service was shocking both times. Food was delivered late, no one to serve at the bar and atmosphere dull

Paid £65 for 4 breakfasts (and drinks / teacake). All 5 fried eggs came out covered in pepper. I would never put pepper on my food so why should someone else make that decision?

We decided we would try this place for something to eat. The place was very busy, we were advised that we could wait by the bar for a table but a waiting time couldn't be given. Luckily someone left and we managed to get that table before we had decided to stay or go somewhere else. The colouring crayons they gave to the kids were well used and mostly broken. We ordered food which I had the 'Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Maple BBQ Sauce'. When it arrived it was relatively small and had been flattened. It was dry, slightly burnt in places and the chip portion was smaller than had in other branches. Overall the location is good, the decor is ok. The staff seemed ok but could have been better. The food wasn't the best and don't think would eat here again.

Many visits to this restaurant now. It's a great atmosphere and easy to enjoy yourself. The food is varied and interesting. The bar staff are friendly and cocktails are delicious.

Little bit of a wait for a table but completely understandable as it was the lunch rush. Other than that, the service was excellent, the orders came out fast and the food was amazing. Recommend the cowboy smash burger and the hiney feta starter 10/10

Great Atmosphere in here , it's as good on a very quiet visit as it is when the place is heaving and full of hubbub. Twisted chicken club is my recommendation

Excellent service and amazing food and drinks

Whilst the experience was OK (please read on). We waited for a while to place an order then the fire alarm went off. We then had to stand in the rain waiting to go back inside. We then waited a long time and was told to order via a qr code as the staff couldn't cope. We did and 20 minutes later (before our order arrived) the alarm went off again. We then returned after a shorter period and our orders arrived. Shortly after the alarm went off again and we decided to leave our orders and go somewhere else.

Seems that standards have slipped in recent times, staff seem uninspired and solemn which is sad. Colouring equipment now being supplied for children have become a complete disgrace, broken, unhygienic and uninspiring. Staff advised that the manager would not replace them? Food was equally uninspired! What a difference a poor manager can generate!!!

A lovely place to eat and chat. I enjoy the vegetarian breakfast despite not being vegetarian myself! Service is friendly and efficient. The decor and furniture options give the place a relaxing feel which enhances the enjoyment! Well done chaps. I'll come again! Parking is free for 2 hours at Sainsburys, get a voucher from Tarro as you leave.

The best range of gluten free and vegan food ever!

1* for food, it's everything bad from chain food. 1* for service, you don't get any it's all done on app and then dropped off. Dirty cutlery and glasses. 1* atmosphere. One big same level room with a lower than comfortable temperature. Most folks in their coats to eat. Absolutely avoid the vegan 'bacon'.

First visit here but had heard it was good. Atmosphere and decor lovely , really buzzing . 3 of us all had something different to eat but everything was tasty.

Waiting 10 minutes to order two drinks and 20 mins to get them. Was not busy therefore really disappointed, mostly with the fact that three of four staff saw me waiting that long to order and their colleague was struggling and all responded with they cannot assist

Really good food and service. Incredibly busy so the service wasn't fast but for the amount of people inside it was acceptable. Always helpful and accommodating when we hold monthly board game meet ups couldn't recommend highly enough.

Nice venue, very busy to the extent there was a wait for the tables. Good selection of beers, wines ect. Some staff very helpful others not so. Will be returning but at a less busy time.
