Great atmosphere, slow bar service though.

Nice enough place. Interesting menu. Strange ordering system and a long wait for food or drinks on our visit but it was quite busy. Dog friendly is a plus.

Had a great family meal out. Food was lovely, good service food came quickly.

A lovely place to eat and chat. I enjoy the vegetarian breakfast despite not being vegetarian myself! Service is friendly and efficient. The decor and furniture options give the place a relaxing feel which enhances the enjoyment! Well done chaps. I'll come again! Parking is free for 2 hours at Sainsburys, get a voucher from Tarro as you leave.

The best range of gluten free and vegan food ever!

1* for food, it's everything bad from chain food. 1* for service, you don't get any it's all done on app and then dropped off. Dirty cutlery and glasses. 1* atmosphere. One big same level room with a lower than comfortable temperature. Most folks in their coats to eat. Absolutely avoid the vegan 'bacon'.

First visit here but had heard it was good. Atmosphere and decor lovely , really buzzing . 3 of us all had something different to eat but everything was tasty.

Family friendly and an excellent place to watch the world go by.

Waiting 10 minutes to order two drinks and 20 mins to get them. Was not busy therefore really disappointed, mostly with the fact that three of four staff saw me waiting that long to order and their colleague was struggling and all responded with they cannot assist

Really good food and service. Incredibly busy so the service wasn't fast but for the amount of people inside it was acceptable. Always helpful and accommodating when we hold monthly board game meet ups couldn't recommend highly enough.

Always super busy here, the staff are lovely and we were not left waiting at the door for long this time. I had the Miami brunch which was honestly so tasty I was really pleasantly surprised

Nice venue, very busy to the extent there was a wait for the tables. Good selection of beers, wines ect. Some staff very helpful others not so. Will be returning but at a less busy time.

Extremely disappointed. One of the few tables available was sandwiched between two tables both with people using laptops and notebooks. I'm more than happy for people to check messages or send text messages on mobiles but I came out for a coffee in a cafe atmosphere not an office. Someone needs to work out where the income is generated from. Do you encourage customers, or are you happy to provide cheap office space? We didn't order anything.

Food is usually very good here but last night chips were Luke warm and I did think the chicken could have been presented much nicer if it had been cut into slices rather than this massive coated piece of chicken plonked on my plate. The drinks are expensive (red wine) and that’s been the case (I feel) since Tarro first opened. One gripe I do have - toilets are ok but could do with a deep clean once or twice a week. Black floor you can’t see things but it’s not very clean!

Food is not as good as it used to be. Ordered bacon sandwich bread was all broken up. Sent it back when it was returned bacon was cold. Toast came without the butter.

Trully nice place for those that don't like pubs. Top place to meet friends & it's good for family too.

We go a lot to Tarro Lounge at least 2 to 3 times a month, but never on a Sunday afternoon so this was a first. The atmosphere is great as always families, couples, kids dogs all there. The staff was maybe a bit overworked, because our table was not cleaned after we ordered a bottle on wine and asked the table to be cleaned and then it was done in a rush. We ordered food (Steak, frites and a Mexican Superbowl with extra chicken) and it took a while to arrive. All was very nice apart only thing the steak it was not rare as ordered but more medium, still nice though. We can recommend this place as we go there a lot because the atmosphere is great, however food quality and portion size can be a bit of hit and miss, as well as staff as they seem to have a lot of different staff, some very good and others not really bothered.

Really good food, high quality ingredients and a large variety of options on the menu. It was genuinely quite difficult to pick dishes as so many of the options looked equally good. I returned within a few days of my first visit because of this!

Visited for brunch purchased Lounge Eggs & Coffee. The coffee was pleasantly lovely although after a long wait for the food it was long gone. The lounge eggs where hard and over cooked whilst the bacon below them was stone cold. To top this the hollandaise sauce poured over the eggs was freezing cold and must have just come from the fridge. The last time I visited for brunch it was very mediocre so I was sceptical about this visit. Unfortunately the prices charged do not reflect in the quality of food presented. I will not be eating here again.

What a lovely place. Service was good, staff very friendly. Prices average for area nd standard of food. Food was very nice. Vegetarian breakfast was quite heavy and different. Soup was quite spicy but a little watery for me. All in all very good and will definitely visit again. 😊

Good coffee and hot chocolate. The mince pie crumble portion was so small and not worth the money. And the music is too Loud.

Brunch Shakshuka was extremely good. Quick friendly service. Quite noisy because it was very busy but didn't spoil our enjoyment.

Just had a late lunch here with friends. I am vegan and also have an intolerance to gluten. There were quite a few options for me on the menu, which was a lovely change, as struggle quite often when eating out and sometimes can only have a salad option! I decided to have the gluten free beyond burger. As this is not also labelled vegan, I decided not to have the chipotle mayo (prob not vegan). After few mins, Chantelle came over to advise that the reason this dish is not also vegan is the gluten-free roll it comes in, but the brioche roll that comes with the vegan burger is not gluten-free and offered me to change my choice. I decided to have the burger with the salad etc, just not any type of bun. Had a pot of vegan mayo on the side. Had the gluten-free/vegan semifreddo for dessert- soooo tasty! My friends, no dietary requirements, both had the lounge breakfast . Then one choc salted caramel sundae and the cheesecake. We all really enjoyed our food. I would just like to give a big shout-out to Chantelle for her patience while I decided what I could have and her knowledge of the menu! All the staff were very friendly and can’t fault anything. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful food, great service and a good location. Quirky interior decor is nice and refreshing when compared to the bland sandy approach used by many others. Great menu choices with plenty of options for Veggies, kids etc. Large drink selection including cocktails, hot drinks, cordial and alcoholic options. Access friendly. Outdoor seating available.

We come here regularly, never had any negative issues, food is always good and the staff are excellent, top marks all round Tarro, see you soon!

It's all right . Location and service are good. Food was nothing great. Will be visiting more to really find out after trying other options.

Waited 20 minutes for them to work out if the sausage and the bread muffin had dairy in....gave up as we only had 40 minutes and weren't expecting it to take that long. Disappointing.

Love this place. I travel from Leicester for the breakfast. Yes menu can seem pricey but you understand from the portion size, quality, staff, and the large building the restaurant is housed in, suddenly makes you realise it is pretty cheap. The atmospheric ambience inside is beautiful and poetic and really feels homely. The staff are great always attentive and they have a nice mix of customer. This is no greasy spoon with white van men, this is decadent and Indulgent and a lovely way to spend the afternoon.

This place is popular, busy, we had a chicken club sandwich and chips which was delicious, the menu is good and variable and prices not bad and staff friendly, would recommend

Went to Tarro last night and it was a fantastic night,the atmosphere was perfect,service was first class and the food was amazing The front of house were brilliant with us I am disabled and our guest was in a wheelchair and they helped us especially when ordering where I made a few mistakes but were able to sort it out I want to praise the chefs with the meal they made for us it was amazing ,so much flavour,taste was immense and the waiting time was nothing more that perfect

Lovely food, Great Service, Great atmosphere in the middle of the day on a Saturday. We met up with friends who travel here to eat here from Lincolnshire.

Had a lounge breakfast Saturday 9/9/23 wasn't busy, glorious day so sat outside( perfect setting ). Service was very good , smiling, pleasant staff, very attentive. HOWEVER ..food not brilliant, not terrible but not brilliant..egg was over cooked as were hash browns , and bacon very very thin oh and the mushrooms cold . coffee was very nice , will definitely try again , hopefully a one off with food but as I said all staff were great.

Very upmarket feel but relaxed, interesting quirky decor, lovely staff and OMG the food is absolutely top notch gorgeous!!!! The Mi Goreng is absolutely delicious and the Sweetcorn fritter tapas is gorgeous! Absolutely brilliant place 5* (Just beware of the Hinckley parking ticket people don’t risk the parking nearby do find a proper car park.)

What a great find! Travelling through Hinckley looking for a nice breakfast and we found it at Tarro Lounge. Full English , cooked well, lovely staff, great service , good value for money. Highly recommend a visit .

First time i have been here.It was absolutely full inside, queing up to get in, so we sat outside where there was hardly anyone sitting.Ordered and paid for via app.Service was reasonably quick given how busy they were.All food that we had was tasty and well cooked.Thank you.

First time went there for breakfast. We ordered English breakfast and it was very greasy, couldn’t taste anything else but grease. Not worth the price. Heartburn all day. Second time I thought we try dinner. I had spaghetti carbonara. It was very tasty but the portion was tiny, like a kids menu or starter lol, again not worth the price. No option to add chicken. Cheese garlic bread not very nice, tasteless. Very disappointed with my visits.

It's really nice in here with a not bad range of food options and drinks. Personally we don't like the number of children and dogs so tend to either sit outside or go early doors. Nice atmosphere though and we like the ways it's decorated.

It’s a wonderful place, but I will take the star down for not listing all of the ingredients on menu. (I absolutely cannot stand parsley and there was loads of it on my meal, should I known that, I would of asked it to remove). Also the children’s area is placed to the most illogical place, right by the entrance where door is constantly open - children can run away.

I come to this place when I visit my friend who had recently moved to Hinkley. It always appears to be very busy, pleasant atmosphere, good food and good service

Great food although the description of "rocket salad" was just lettice.the staff in generally were helpful although the youngest table staff seemed annoyed when I brought it to their attention that there was something wrong with the mustard and she generally had a negative attitude towards us.

Decent food, great choice of vegan which one of the party members has to eat due to health conditions so always a bonus. Would say the menus quite small for eating but for drinking there's a massive selection of choices! Desserts were lovely. No parking onsite but there's carparks close by.

Usually call in here when we are in hinckley, it was very busy as usual but the waitresses were excellent and friendly, we ordered using the table app. It was easy and quick, the drinks came quick and the club sandwiches were delicious and good value for money. Several of the other places nearby were almost or empty which goes to show if the food is good people will go.

Too many children for us. If you have children probably great. Shucksuka was great, however you spell it.

Food came out burnt and inedible which meant I had to wait 15 minutes for a replacement meaning I couldn’t enjoy my meal with my friends. The service was terrible as my friends and I were left with empty plates for a good while after eating which included the time it took for my meal to arrive again and me actually be able to eat, even when a member of staff came to the table after we had eaten to see if we wanted dessert they ignored the dirty plates and didn’t clear them away. I wouldn’t eat here again it was very disappointing when all your getting is overpriced substandard food.

LOVE coming in here to use as a funky office space, to have a chilled meal or just be with friends. Always a good experience here - the carbonara is class 🎉

As regular visitors to both Tarro and Volpo Lounge we made the mistake of adding two extra portions of onion rings to our order. Why a mistake? We were totally astonished that for £3.25 the portion consisted of only 3 onion rings. Thinking we had ordered incorrectly (online) we questioned the very nice young lady serving our table who confirmed that indeed for £3.25 you receive a miserly portion of 3 very ordinary, nice but unspectacular onion rings. That's just over £1.08 each - outrageous rip off.

Had a lovely lunch here after visiting Wed2Be nearby. Staff could see my daughter had just purchased her wedding dress and gave her a free glass of bubbly to celebrate. Really nice gesture that topped off a special moment! Thanks guys it was lovely 😊

All fine when we arrived. We ordered drinks and food for an outside table and the drinks arrived promptly. However, the food took an eternity to arrive, and only after chasing up for it twice. It was only a ham hock & cheese panini and, in fairness, the filling was fine but the panini itself was honestly the worst I have ever had. It was soggy and tasteless, and had all the hallmarks of having been warmed up in a microwave. After the long wait for it and the poor quality, I can only give our experience 2/5. Unlikely to be visiting again.

Me and my friends came here for a catch up one lunch time, it’s always busy in here. We ordered our food on the app and it came shortly afterwards. Very good service and very quick. Food was hot also. Really enjoyed ourselves.
