The Red Lion in Hinckley and Bosworth

Friendly and welcoming establishment. House red wine choice of Merlot or Shiraz, and both were pretty decent. Spotlessly clean toilets (always a bonus!) and roaring fire was very welcome on a cold winters day. We were even allowed to bring our dogs in, which was great as it was chilly outside, even under the outdoor heaters; they were each given a treat too. Nicest pub by far in Earl Shilton.

This Landlord knows his beer and how it should be looked after. Have visited a few times to check if was a one off but it’s not. Perfect clear well kept ale. The pub has friendly and jovial landlord and staff and the locals always seem to be having a great time. If only I lived closer would be my local of choice for sure 👌

Avoid this pub at all costs ..unless you enjoy a terrible landlord ..the most miserable and unwelcoming man you could ever meet !!!

If you are ever around Earl Shilton, then popping into the Red Lion is a must. Brilliant staff , brilliant beers, but most of all it’s a warm and welcoming place. Such a friendly pub with amazing beer garden out back. Spoil yourself and pay it a visit, I’m so glad I did ,
