Chocoberry in Leicester

cookie dough overcooked, hard and edges inedible. milkshakes OK but not great in comparison to other dessert shops

Situated in the heart of Evington Road, parking can often be an issue. The desserts are decadent, fresh and presentation is always tops. Chocoberry is always my first choice when it comes to dessert, my absolute favourite being the famous waffle bites, no one makes them like Chocoberry.

The New Range Kunafee Crepe and Strawberry Cup was nice and Worth for portion Size. Every time when i pop in there will be a big crowd and there order time never dropped and delivered in 10 mins and Service was great enough.

Yesterday, I ordered the strawberry kunafeh cup, and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly professional, especially the guy and the girl at the till. I highly recommend them! 🤩🥰

Went for my cousin birthday however was not served any food. They said they do not serve for eat in after 1am however online it says 2am

They do not serve to eat in after 1am however they state online they close at 2am. They refused 20 people food at 1.03am

Went today at 1am however they did not not serve. Ive been their in the past multiple times after 1 am and was allowed to eat in but was not allowed at this time

Terrible experience, staff members blatantly lied to me saying there was not certain items available. No waffles when it’s shop is mainly based off waffles? Customer service was terrible as they were giving me a half hearted and dull responses, this may be due to as there was one hour left until closing. However this is unacceptable. They refused us to sit in and eat. If the store is still open we should be allowed to sit in, we were not given a proper reason why. This is just lazy and inappropriate, a shop should remain professional and follow the rules.

Every day we come here for desert but the belgian choclate kunafeh is most amazing here. The choclate flavour with pistachios is so amazing.

We went with our family (a total of 17 people) online the shop states they close at 2 however in reality they close at 1am. They refused to serve us food to eat in. Issue is they watched us go the shop and settle in before telling us this.

Just spent over 45 minutes THREE times calling to give allergy details for an order. Each time they answer then hang up immediately. Heard they do this to multiple callers. Disgusting. AVOID

Recently ordered the San Sebastian cheesecake, I was really looking forward to enjoying it. Unfortunately, it was a major letdown. When I poured the chocolate over the cheesecake, instead of getting a smooth, indulgent drizzle, the chocolate hardened almost instantly into a solid layer, turning into one big lump. It didn’t drip down or coat the cheesecake the way it should. For a dessert parlour, I would expect you to use proper liquid milk chocolate that enhances the experience, not this hardening chocolate that completely ruins the dessert. It was so disappointing. Please reconsider the chocolate you use, especially for delivery orders, as this just doesn’t work.

This place is a dessert DREAM! 🤩 I went specifically for their sweet treats and was absolutely blown away. Not only were the desserts themselves incredible, but the service was top-notch and you could tell they use the freshest ingredients. This is my new go-to spot!🤤

The order got delayed over 30 minutes and the driver marked order as delivered before arrival and The ice cream got melted. I need my money back

We ordered for 20 pounds and generally we order every week twice and when we call to place order we told that girl please put a little bit more chocolate, because we feel brownie is dry so we always say to put a little bit extra chocolae, but the member or staff directly told me we can’t do that everytime, or will charge 1 pound for that. So that was very rude behaviour of the staff member

Bought a pistachio kunafah dream cake at 10:30pm and when I tried it the kunafa was not crunchy and it tasted almost stale. I am very disappointed with this purchase because I bought the same thing on November 10 and it tasted amazing, plus it cost £8 back in November now they’ve made it £10 and it doesn’t even taste good. When I went another time it had coffee flavour which isn’t what the description says. I’m so upset, I just wanted to satiate my late night craving but it was honestly so hard to eat because the kunafah was missing the crunch and crispiness!!

Tuve una experiencia muy decepcionante con Chocoberry en London Road, Leicester. Primero, se equivocaron en mi pedido, así que tuve que volver a la tienda para conseguir un reemplazo. Esto implicó un viaje de 30 minutos por trayecto y me costó £ 28 en tarifas de taxi. A pesar de las molestias, esperaba que el reemplazo valiera la pena, pero cuando llegué a casa, encontré que los postres estaban quemados. Cuando llamé para informarles sobre el problema, me sorprendió su falta de servicio al cliente. Me dijeron que no podían hacer nada, lo cual es inaceptable dados los repetidos errores de su parte. Esta experiencia fue frustrante, costosa y una completa pérdida de tiempo. No volveré a pedirles y aconsejaría a otros que eviten este lugar a menos que mejoren seriamente su servicio y control de calidad.

He estado aquí un par de veces ahora, la torta de leche de pistacho es divina, también lo es el Ferrero Milkshake, y el batido de Kinder Bueno , también pidió bocados de gofres pero estaba ligeramente decepcionado con ellos, pedimos con leche chocolate y fresas pero apenas se veían fresas en la caja y demasiado chocolate por lo que los gofres estaban empapados.

Kanafeh didn’t taste anything like it should.waiting was crazy as the tiny shop was full of collection riders.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Delivery never arrived (after waiting for 2 hours) and then the restaurant hung up my call asking for a delivery update. They then didn’t pick up numerous follow up calls.

Food arrived two hours after order, submitted partial refund request through Justeat app, they responded 'no refund, enjoy your food'. It's either a sarcastic or entitled response. Sorry Choccoberry, I did not enjoy my food. Email sent to JustEat for refund. See other reviews, do not recomend unless you are happy to wait hours for your order to arrive cold.

If you're looking to grab a quick takeaway without a long wait, this is a great place. Their faloodas are amazing, and the staff was friendly, ensuring my order was ready on time. They also gave me some excellent food recommendations. The Chocoberry Special Kunafa is a must-try!

La baya de chocolate en el camino de Londres Leicester se ve encantador, pero muchos de los asientos son sucios y sucios. Las mesas están demasiado juntas (incómodamente) y el servicio es horrible. La cena que recibimos fue genial, pero en general no vale la pena ir de nuevo.

I ordered waffle bites from Chocoberry’s Evington branch, and I was really let down. The waffle bites were cold, and when I told them they just microwaved them, which made the strawberries soggy. I wouldn't recommend this place because the waffle just tasted like cold bread with chocolate and toppings.

I recently tried the chocoberry cake, and it was an absolute treat. The cake was perfectly balanced with a rich chocolatey and fresh juicy barriers. But what made the experience even better was the service. Minnu was so friendly and welcoming when taking my orders.She took the time to ask about my preferences and even suggested a few pairing options, I really appreciated. Queríamos probar algo nuevo. Caminamos por London Road y nos encontramos con gente comiendo comida y no solo d. Así que vinimos a revisar el menú. Recibimos un servicio rápido y nos sentamos de inmediato. Tomamos un tiempo para decidir qué tener. No había apreciado que la comida tiene una inclinación asiática. Los rollos de primavera eran de estilo desi en oposición al estilo chino. Elijo el plato de pollo a la parrilla mediterránea y mi marido eligió el plato de hamburguesa de pollo. El mío era un poco picante para mí. No puedo manejar comida picante como una vez pude. Disfruté de mi comida. El tamaño de la porción estaba bien para los dos. Tal vez no para los más jóvenes con apetitos más grandes. Los postres no se veían muy bien, así que les dimos una falta. ¿Quién quiere pastel de queso frío en una noche de otoño. Vimos a la gente comer hamburguesas. Me pregunto si son tan bonitas como las hamburguesas de The Barn. PS para aquellos que se quejan de la falta de agua del grifo. ¿No te diste cuenta de que no dan cristalería con bebidas de ningún tipo? Bebía directamente de la botella o la lata.

Focusing too much on packaging and not what’s in it. The waffle bites weren’t up to scratch. I’ve been grabbing the same thing for almost 5 years -_- . Half Strawberry, Half bananas, half white chocolate and half milk chocolate. It used to be worth the money but now it is less fruit and less chocolate sauce. Price is going 🆙 Quality is coming⬇️ we came from £4.00 all the way to £7.00 🥲

The desserts are excellent and very tasty. The waffle comes in many varieties to suit your preferences. The snow white and the strawberry dreams are our favourite. They use good quality fruits on the waffle with a healthy amount of chocolate sauce drizzled on it. The service is quick, and the serving staff are well mannered. At rush time, you may find it hard to find parking. The prices are reasonable.

Waited 25 mins and staff unhelpful. Deserts clearly taken from freezer and unable to eat as icecream too hard. Disapointing as we were looking forward to trying the deserts. £24 for poor food and service

Recently ordered on deliveroo order arrived stone cold and burnt like a brick probably ordered the waffle bites 50x this year alone but lately quality has dropped this particular order was brick hard and burnt tasted like charcoal

I asked for tap water to go with my food and coffee and was refused. I was stunned and it took confirmation from other waitresses before I had to reluctantly believe that they would not give me tap water. Unfortunately I think it is only possible to challenge this legally under the licensing laws and they don’t sell alcohol but what sort of organisation refuses water to anyone let alone a paying customer. I was also struck by the fact that the waitresses who were otherwise courteous and efficient and apologetic did not feel able to use their discretion to give the older lady making a fuss a glass of water to least shut her up if nothing else. This is never a good sign in commercial service industries and certainly made me wonder about Chocoberry as employers.

The ice cream on the faludo looked like it was melted and re frozen. I have an immense headache and feeling sick. You guys need to attend a food safety course It’s not acceptable

Review purley related to the service. Came for brunch at 5pm, place was fairly empty with no more than 4-5 tables in use. The cafe had 4-5 staff present yet they took 1 hour to bring out 2x big breakfast and 2x drinks. Sort it out or won't be coming again.

just now I bought ice cream from the Evington road branch first of all the lady who took the order she was roude not answering the menu properly she make us felt as she is doing a favour on me by serving the order and the taste is worst I will not recommend any one of my friends and family this place again

The cheesecake has so much butter In it. It’s unbelievable. You can just taste a lump of butter. You need to fix that. Call it butter cake. Honestly I want the owner to call me and try it with me. What a waste of butter.

Worst experience yesterday. Staff got my friends order wrong forgot to put beans on his order which comes with the order. Eggs had shells in them and when he told staff the lady barely understood anything brought someone else over and they changed it to a different meal. I didn’t get my hot drink until I had finished eating ( asked for it minimum 5 times ) Then when we tried paying tried charging me for the wrong items which I had to tell him. Used to be good but the staff that was working yesterday was terrible and dopey.

We were served by one of the wonderful staff with the name of Stefi and the London Road branch. Very kind and polite, was actively checking on my friend and I to make sure that we were happy with our meals We ordered the Full English, Lotus Biscoff French Toast and the Nutella French Toast and the White Kinder Bueno Milkshake, the food was hands down amazing, especially the french toast and i hate french toast, the mushrooms were also very well seasoned, i used to love mushrooms as a kid but i no longer do, chocoberry helped me rekindle my love for them. The milkshake was good, however, when it got to the bottom you could taste the bits of chocolate which did throw me off and i didn’t really like the taste of the sausage but my friend did.

Tried the Oreo milkshake and strawberry mojito did not taste nice at all although the staff was nice enough to change the milkshake none of it met my expectations of a desert shop

Got a lotus milkshake, strawberry dream waffle and tiramisu delivered for a birthday treat. All delicious and fast delivery. Have ordered from Chocoberry before and always had consistently great quality! My personal go to is the strawberry chocolate waffle everytime, not found another dessert place that does anything similar or as good standard . Great job Chocoberry! ☺️☺️

The atmosphere of this cafe for eating is very peaceful. Last time I ordered Kinder Buneno white milkshake and waffle bites, the taste of both items are amazing.Next time i will again visit try other sweets items because chocoberry have alot of sweets dishes.
