Chocoberry in Leicester

The chocolate berry on london road Leicester looks lovely but a lot of the seats are grubby and dirty. The tables are far too close together (uncomfortably so) and the service is awful. The dinner we received was great but overall not worth going to again.

I recently tried the chocoberry cake, and it was an absolute treat. The cake was perfectly balanced with a rich chocolatey and fresh juicy barriers. But what made the experience even better was the service. Minnu was so friendly and welcoming when taking my orders.She took the time to ask about my preferences and even suggested a few pairing options, I really appreciated. Amazing milkshake - kinder beuno 👌

We wanted to try somewhere new. We walked down London Road and came across people eating food and not just d. So we popped in to check the menu. We got prompt service and seated straight away. We took a while to decide to what to have. I hadn't appreciated the food has an Asian slant to it. The spring rolls were desi style as opposed to Chinese style. I choose Mediterranean grill chicken bowl and my husband chose the chicken burger bowl. Mine was a little spicy for me. I can't handle spicy food much like I once could. I enjoyed my food. Portion size was fine for us both. Maybe not for younger people with bigger appettites. Desserts didn't look great so we gave them a miss. Who wants cold cheese cake on an autumnal evening. We saw people have burgers. I wonder if they're as nice as The Barn burgers. PS for those complaining about lack of tap water. Did you not realise they don't give glassware with drinks of any kind? It was drinking straight from the bottle or can.

Focusing too much on packaging and not what’s in it. The waffle bites weren’t up to scratch. I’ve been grabbing the same thing for almost 5 years -_- . Half Strawberry, Half bananas, half white chocolate and half milk chocolate. It used to be worth the money but now it is less fruit and less chocolate sauce. Price is going 🆙 Quality is coming⬇️ we came from £4.00 all the way to £7.00 🥲

The desserts are excellent and very tasty. The waffle comes in many varieties to suit your preferences. The snow white and the strawberry dreams are our favourite. They use good quality fruits on the waffle with a healthy amount of chocolate sauce drizzled on it. The service is quick, and the serving staff are well mannered. At rush time, you may find it hard to find parking. The prices are reasonable.

Waited 25 mins and staff unhelpful. Deserts clearly taken from freezer and unable to eat as icecream too hard. Disapointing as we were looking forward to trying the deserts. £24 for poor food and service

Order some waffles bites and waffle with strawberries banana nutella. The food was made an hour before being delivered Food arrived stone cold.

The desserts were amazing as always but the service and attitude of the lady taking the orders needs to be fixed. She rude and arrogant.

Recently ordered on deliveroo order arrived stone cold and burnt like a brick probably ordered the waffle bites 50x this year alone but lately quality has dropped this particular order was brick hard and burnt tasted like charcoal

Spot on with everything Food quality , Presentation, Customer Service, variety of food. Love everything in there.

I asked for tap water to go with my food and coffee and was refused. I was stunned and it took confirmation from other waitresses before I had to reluctantly believe that they would not give me tap water. Unfortunately I think it is only possible to challenge this legally under the licensing laws and they don’t sell alcohol but what sort of organisation refuses water to anyone let alone a paying customer. I was also struck by the fact that the waitresses who were otherwise courteous and efficient and apologetic did not feel able to use their discretion to give the older lady making a fuss a glass of water to least shut her up if nothing else. This is never a good sign in commercial service industries and certainly made me wonder about Chocoberry as employers.

The ice cream on the faludo looked like it was melted and re frozen. I have an immense headache and feeling sick. You guys need to attend a food safety course It’s not acceptable

Review purley related to the service. Came for brunch at 5pm, place was fairly empty with no more than 4-5 tables in use. The cafe had 4-5 staff present yet they took 1 hour to bring out 2x big breakfast and 2x drinks. Sort it out or won't be coming again.

just now I bought ice cream from the Evington road branch first of all the lady who took the order she was roude not answering the menu properly she make us felt as she is doing a favour on me by serving the order and the taste is worst I will not recommend any one of my friends and family this place again

The cheesecake has so much butter In it. It’s unbelievable. You can just taste a lump of butter. You need to fix that. Call it butter cake. Honestly I want the owner to call me and try it with me. What a waste of butter.

Please don’t on Uber eats with these guys absolute con artists. The cake we order was a tiny portion and the milkshake hardly tasted of anything but milk. When we complained the person that answered the phone said sorry nothing we can do and put the phone down. absolutely disgusting service

Worst experience yesterday. Staff got my friends order wrong forgot to put beans on his order which comes with the order. Eggs had shells in them and when he told staff the lady barely understood anything brought someone else over and they changed it to a different meal. I didn’t get my hot drink until I had finished eating ( asked for it minimum 5 times ) Then when we tried paying tried charging me for the wrong items which I had to tell him. Used to be good but the staff that was working yesterday was terrible and dopey.

We were served by one of the wonderful staff with the name of Stefi and the London Road branch. Very kind and polite, was actively checking on my friend and I to make sure that we were happy with our meals We ordered the Full English, Lotus Biscoff French Toast and the Nutella French Toast and the White Kinder Bueno Milkshake, the food was hands down amazing, especially the french toast and i hate french toast, the mushrooms were also very well seasoned, i used to love mushrooms as a kid but i no longer do, chocoberry helped me rekindle my love for them. The milkshake was good, however, when it got to the bottom you could taste the bits of chocolate which did throw me off and i didn’t really like the taste of the sausage but my friend did.

Tried the Oreo milkshake and strawberry mojito did not taste nice at all although the staff was nice enough to change the milkshake none of it met my expectations of a desert shop

Got a lotus milkshake, strawberry dream waffle and tiramisu delivered for a birthday treat. All delicious and fast delivery. Have ordered from Chocoberry before and always had consistently great quality! My personal go to is the strawberry chocolate waffle everytime, not found another dessert place that does anything similar or as good standard . Great job Chocoberry! ☺️☺️

If I could give a minus score I would. Shocking service from the man at the till. The milkshake was barely drinkable as it was too thick wouldn’t even come up the straw. Gave us 1 tissue for 6 people and 1 fork. Waffle bites were awful we asked for Nutella and its milk chocolate not Nutella. 1) we were told we couldn’t have tap water - poor service 2) complained a month ago that we both reacted to the faludo drink and we came up with spots. My friend was Prescribed penicillin. I was prescribed antihistamines. I’ve had no reply or acknowledgment to my complaint. Poor service. 3) service poor with no cutlery provided which should be the norm. It could be a great place if they were more customer focused.

Dreadful. Waited 30 minutes before anyone took our order and, 30 minutes after that we still hadn’t received our 2 desserts. We enquired with staff about how much longer it would take, but no one bothered to update us. Many tables were covered with dirty pots. We walked out with having received our desserts.

I didn’t want to say it to the servers but one of the most important things about a restaurant is that it smells nice however there was a constant smell of body odour coming from the servers which I just wanted to spread awareness on without insulting anyone

I’m usually a regular here, and decided to take a friend for dessert. We spent around £30, 2 desserts, and coffees. However I asked for a glass of tap water and was refused and told they are under no obligation to provide tap water. This may be the case, but I find it disappointing that they could not provide this knowing we had spent a reasonable amount and stayed for around 30 mins. So not table hogging and drinking just tap water. I feel this is bad customer service and for that reason I won’t be going back

I recently tried the Chocoberry dessert, and I must say, the Strawberry Cheesecake was amazing! The combination of creamy cheesecake was truly delightful. Since I had takeout, I can't speak for the customer service in the restaurant, but I can attest that the staff who took my order over the phone were very friendly. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend trying their Strawberry Cheesecake!

Not been to this place in a few years but I can state, it's seriously declined. Not a welcoming place, barely get attention when placing orders. From all the workers I will specify the girl with glasses is probably the only reason the business is still running. To top that, everything I ordered came out from both sides all night.

I had to call the restaurant to remind my order. When I received my order (4 milkshakes) there was no straw and tissue. I called them again. Luckily my house was not far so they delivered straws but it was so awkward and inconvenient to not receive everything together.
