First visit to this beautiful spacious cafe, food was incredible, service very friendly. Staff couldn’t do enough for you. Will definitely be revisiting

We popped in for Sunday lunch, we hadn't booked & the staff were lovely squeezed my husband & I in straight away! We had a lovely Sunday lunch my husband had pork I had beef with veg,, lovely friendly service didn't wait long at all would definitely reccomend!

Always a winner. Service is impeccable. Thé staff are so friendly and the food (kids or adult) is very good.

Arrived at Bembridge Airport for lunch and worth the trip. Very friendly service and the sausages and mash was very good.

One of my favourite places for lunch in the Lakes! Always 10/10 food and very dog friendly. Recently had the afternoon tea too which was one of the best I've ever had, definitely recommend!

Lovely.park and interesting museum with a combination of art and natural history. The café has plenty of options and great views. Dog friendly too

Not great, food cold, we didn't feel welcomed, rude staff, shame as used to be so nice. I would not recommend. The Old Inn which is in the village is much nicer.

Looking for somewhere different to meet up with some friends, were recommended The Square at Porthleven. Goodness we were not disappointed!! After a warm welcome we were shown to our table and presented with the menus. We were given a good amount of time to make our selections. Our starters included smoked salmon, mackerel pate, pickled cucumber and horseradish cream😋 also the leek and potato soup (with a yummy Welsh rarebit on the side), and the homemade bread with balsamic. Following these delectables were venison steak and amazing vegetables and sauce, and pork belly with crackling, hogs pudding and veg. It would’ve been rude not to have dessert so it was crème brûlée with shortbread biscuit, poached pear and apple and damson ice cream. All absolutely amazing, could not fault, and I hope to return next year!!

Hemos visitado Inglaterra varias veces, pero nunca un domingo. Me ha decepcionado mucho perderme sus famosos asados dominicales. Esta temporada, nos encontramos en Costswolds durante un domingo y me entusiasmó participar en esta tradición dominical. Después de unas cuantas búsquedas en internet, me topé con un artículo a favor de Chester Arms. Se jactaba de una larga fila alrededor de la manzana. Hicimos una reserva con meses de antelación. Nos encontramos en medio de un barrio sin pretensiones. El restaurante era pintoresco y lleno de lugareños. Dicho esto, lo mejor que puedo decir sobre el restaurante es la conveniencia local. Los aperitivos son inspirados en Oriente Medio. No encontrarás pudín de Yorkshire ni salsas ni carne tierna. La carne es sabrosa pero difícil de masticar y la carne de res es su única opción. Este no es un tipo de lugar al que quieres ir para tu asado dominical, pero este puede ser el lugar al que vas si no quieres conducir más allá de tu calle.

Had lunch today 11/12/12. All round excellent from start to finish and will definitely be returning. Amazing service, excellent value and really good affordable food. Thanks to Chris,Jo and the team.

We have sampled the food and hospitality at The Barn several times in the past, today, however, was the first Afternoon Tea we have tried there. From a warm welcome to our departure the service was excellent. Friendly and efficient. The afternoon tea was delicious, tasty sandwiches and rolls, lovely fresh warm, scones, very yummy brownies, cupcakes and banana cake, all helped down with a refreshing cup of Barn Brew Tea. Thank you.

We had the best time at the Xmas revellers night on Saturday 14th December. The food, entertainment and customer service were all fabulous and we are already looking forward to attending our 5th revellers night next year!

This place is a real gem, slightly off the beaten track but kind of diagonally opposite the Jane Austen museum. The coffee is so smooth and tasty, lots of varieties to choose from and the owner/staff are serious coffee buffs. Highly recommend.

A great experience horse riding, Beth was very knowledgeable and engaging and all went smoothly.
