Possibly the best vegetarian breakfast we have ever eaten. Generous portions of perfectly cooked, hot, satisfying food.

Two of us popped in on a whim and we both decided to opt for the large melts. Wow! They were huge. There was enough for four of us. The menu is extensive and everything is freshly prepared. It was lovely to see it so busy, with a brisk takeaway trade, too. Amazing value for money. When we're back in the area, we will definitely return.

Popped in whilst out with the dog for a takeaway lunch. Lovely fresh food! The staff were really pleasant and friendly. Definitely one to keep coming back to!

Excellent value for money provided this very busy cafe which also does a roaring takeaway trade . Portions are substantial and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There are a few tables outside for when the weather is fine inside tables may be difficult to find during lunchtime.

Dore Cafe is an example of how brilliant a small local business can be . Both food and service are exceptional and the cafe provides a hub for both local residents and people from a little further afield. The range of delicious food available is quite astounding for such a small establishment.

Ive been visiting Dore Cafe for 7-8 years now and the food is absolutely phenomenon, always freshly prepped and so much choice. The salads are full of colour and variation I have never been to a cafe with so much healthy options and the bread selection is great it's a foodies paradise and the staff and owners are all lovely people. If you've got the taste palate of a rock and order a "cheese and salad cream sandwich" this cafe is to good for that.

The hot and cold food here is so fresh, tasty and delicious! The takeaway pies and meals are excellent also. Been visiting for 5 years plus and live in Dore. Well done Dore cafe, glad to have you so close!

The Dore Café is an absolutely gem. The best coffee in miles, fantastic food and the most friendly staff. The staff worked really hard to serve the community as take away during the lockdowns and, after full reopening as sit in cafe, it has returned to be the hub of the village. Nothing better to start the day than a stop at Dore cafe for breakfast and a chat. And the lunch time offering is amazing too. Highly recommend!

I love going to Dore Cafe, sadly its not very local to me so we don't go as often as I'd like... but when we go its definitely worth the trip! A great menu selection, everything is homemade, fresh and delicious. I particularly enjoy the Chinese Chicken Roll with mint sauce served on lovely fresh bread. Make sure you leave room for one of the amazing pastries, again so many to choose from. Lovely friendly staff! A must visit.

Really annoyed, I ordered a Cheese and Salad cream sandwich to take to work with me for lunch, when I got to work it was cheese and salad! I have tried to pick off all the tomato, egg cucumber which I absolutely HATE with a passion and apart from it still having tomato juice all over there is little else left. Not only is that £3.45 down the drain I now have to try and source some lunch - fuming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Called in for two breakfasts, I asked for no mushrooms or tomato’s then the cook came out being really cheeky saying “I t’s not a full English your just breaking it down” he said this with a lot of attitude and we walked out as we wont be talked to in that manner and then pay the person who’s taking us for fools. Would not reccomend no matter how good the reviews are other than this they are horrible for customer service, I couldn’t tell you what the food was like.

Visited on my lunch, and the staff were lovely and welcoming. Actually showed me the price on the card machine before my payment. Something small but something I appreciate. I had the Hot Club Sandwich from the Lunchtime Specials menu. This consisted of chicken, bacon and salad. Simple sandwich but it was fantastic, the bacon was crispy and it was incredibly tasty. Would definitely recommend.
